my buddy Sean passed two years ago. woke up next to him and he was gone. his birthday was the day before yesterday. he was a lover of DnB and riddim and Bassnectar in general. honestly he was the one who showed me the genres and I fell in love. he bought a camper van and would take all of his festival pals in it to all the shows. with his two huge subs when he would play this and the Lights remix chills would course through me. when this stuff is that loud, the beat surges to your soul. the day he passed I listened to this repeatedly then never again, until now due to me being afraid of getting sad when I knew he wouldn't want me to be. so I just played this and didn't cry, just accepted the beauty of it and I feel like I can now listen to it whenever just to think of him. he was light personified tbh and always made sure everyone was having a good time. RIP Sean I love you and miss you so so much
I used to meditate to this and do yoga in a time where I was going through the hardest things in my life. It really got me through it and I feel so nostalgic listening to this again. I always listened to it in the dark and it was amazing.
Being alone and never having anyone to share feelings with or be able to even express myself with is really hard. But this song just makes me feel everything and let it out. Tears streaming down my face everytime. Love is in this song.
This song has been there for me In my darkest times, and truly helped me ressurect back Into a butterfly. Never give up, you are the one you have been waiting for your whole life, you just don't know that yet, but one day you will. Love you if you are reading this message whoever you are, life is good, smile :) love yourself. Be one. 🙏❤
Beautiful comment thank you. I'm now just getting my life together at 34 getting off opiotes has been challenging especially after using that devil for so long
Wow, thank you, i just lost my son, he loved this band, he was suffering depression and bipolar, what you said is beautiful and i with I told him that, thank you
I have a neurological disorder called synesthesia... Causes all my senses to cross... Smells have a sound, textures taste a certain way... Thus is the first song to ever make one complete "picture" for me. Imagine a pond in a forest with water dripping off of a branch into the pond causing the keyboard notes. The wind through the branches is the bass... Hard to explain, but I hope I have described this well enough for all of you to see what I see. Its beautiful. Thought I would share. :-)
I just recently came across this song. It's quickly become my favorite Chill Step song of all time. The hauntingly beautiful sound of her voice mixed with the grabbing and mesmerizing background is just amazing. I'm really happy that I came across this song. Makes me euphoric, puts me deep in thought, and for some reason I could imagine a halo movie trailer to this song lol
I respect Bassnectar with everything I have, and obviously he's doing something right since a large about of people love him, but sometimes I really wish he made music like this more than his other stuff. This is simply stunning, so much that all the other music in the world has to take a step back and admire this. I love it. This is proof he's a genius.
Lay down, put your headphones in, then, with the end if every beat, imagine electrifying energy surging to different parts of your body. Do it long enough, and you'll feel every drop. What an amazing song.
Out of everything I have heard Lorin create, this song still stands out as his best piece. If you ever get to hear this live it will change the way you feel about bass music. 100,00W system will change your life.
This song reminds me of a dream I had when I was really little. I was In heaven and a bunch of angels were singing this. I was amazed. :) Also, I heard this song in my head so whenever I went to my best friends house for the first time, her mom played it and I got the chills!! ☺ I really love this song and her voice puts me to sleep.. lol.
No shit!!??? Awesome!!! Nice to feel her inner penal, endocrine full, phycotropic tribal saratonin smiled emotion she layed on this track!!! Go Minni... Thanks for the info fact friend..just made my morning a wee more happy! I I've the song and love her, now I got a little hitch in my giddy-up.ha!!!! Preiciates again. Coo
Going through a bad breakup. We used to listen to this song at the beginning of our relationship. He always said I was his butterfly. Here I am listening to this sobbing like a baby. I just feel like I have to get it out. Refreshing... Hard to listen to. I'll always love this song. 💔 I'll miss you J.
Never. Gets. Old. Best meditation song ever. Seeing him live in Eugene, Oregon at the one and only Kaleidoscope festival in 2013, it is such a remembrance. He set off the Richter scales at the Univeristy of Oregon, the bass hit that hard from 100k watts. The Locals were calling in to see if there had been an 'Earthquake.' Needless to say, we weren't asked to return for a second festival.
This butterfly is so delicate and deserves to be protected, because oh man, this song was so DEEP and so LIGHT at the same time, its a work of VanGogh, its a masterpiece. Thanks for my new song imma listen to everyday for years.
It is simply enchanting. It takes you on a transcendental aural journey. Thanks Bassnectar and Mimi Page for collaborating to create this hauntingly beautiful track.
I love this shit! Puts me in the zone. Nothing matters. No bad. No good. Just myself, my soul and good music all sitting on a cloud watching the world.
damn nostalgia. i used to jam this when i was a freshman in high school, no friends, just music, trying to fit in but i preferred music over anything at the time. crazy how time flew by. forgot about this masterpiece.
Bassnectar is a creative god, this song and many of his other songs just clear my mind of problems and stress, thank you bass god next time I'm up London I'm just going to drive around all night with this song playing out of my shitty Suzuki Wagon R haha
This music really pulls me in, like I'll try to listen to it as background music but it just doesn't want to fade back and let me focus on *anything* else
Never in my life have I downloaded Shazam so quick. This is the first song I ever shazamed, and I am damn thankful I did. Paused my netflix on the "Following" played it a few times and literally sat a brain-stormed how the fuck I would be able to listen to this song continuously.
This song gives me flashbacks of all my good and terrible memories. Where I used to be and how far I've come. Almost as a self realization point. The friends I make and destroy as I've floated through this event called life in this this meat suit our souls are occupying.
i was in tokyo in 2014 listening to this track, it was 3 in the morning, couldnt sleep due to jetlag and raining like hell so i was one of the only people outside. this moment i will never forget, i was just somewhere else in my mind

Yes, and she is getting robbed of her royalties. You can support her music here though: mimipage.bandcamp.com/
In fact Lorin produced most of the song, Mimi was a collaborator, and the voice of course.
