I did this speedrun on October 30, 2008. I used an actual NES and a standard NES controller.

I always started with Flame because Nintendo Power told me to when I was 10, ha. Wind Man WAS easier than Flame with the Buster xD.

YES! This is the first speedrun or guide I've seen that does the order I've started! Wind then flame. I don't find Windman too hard, actually. (and i was only using the default weapons)
