Hi what battery range are you hoping to achieve when finished , a lot I hope as I wouldn’t personally not do it unless it is about 400kms between charge .dont know if that is possible👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧

@@clivemillington8452 I think 400km is possible if going with the latest battery tech. I’m using the e-Golf battery which is not as energy dense as brand new batteries (but they are cheap!). I will install about 28kWh and I expect about 200 km of range on sunny days.

I will look into fast charging as well in the coming year or years so that we can go on longer trips. It will probably still need about 1h for a full charge, but that’s Ok.

This is a project car so OEM ranges are not a reasonable expectation. My EV project car has a range of around 100 miles or 160km and it is more than enough 99% of the time. If fast charging is installed then it would be enough 100% of the time.

you should really grind down those welds of the subframe patches. they will rust again badly if left like hanging grapes. also your swap bar links need to be rod ends. your putting those bushing in bending

@@bratindustries totally agree. Another reason to chose another sway bar kit if anyone looking into installing one. I do hope the rubber in the sway bar links can compensate the movement enough.
For the rust patch, maybe I should do as you suggest. This was a fix by a previous owner and no rust was seen there before I repainted the frame.
