Oh Deborah, so lovely to film your reaction to my gift! You are so welcome and it’s so nice to see your genuine gratitude. You certainly put a smile on my face! ❤
Looks like you guys had a wonderful time celebrating. Mornington Peninsula is so beautiful. I used to spend many weekends down there but I have not been for a long time. Great news everything came back fine from the heart monitor. Have a great weekend.
Hi Sandra, Thank you! We indeed had a fantastic time, and the Mornington Peninsula truly is a gem. It’s such a picturesque place to unwind and create memories. I hope you get a chance to visit again soon-it might just be as magical as you remember! Also, I appreciate your kind words regarding the heart monitor results; it's always a relief to get positive health news. Wishing you a wonderful weekend as well. Take care and hopefully, your next trip down to the Peninsula isn't too far off!😚😚
Hi @leezacarroll2250, Absolutely, we are indeed so fortunate to have such beautiful beaches and waterways close by-it's one of the true joys of living in Australia! 😊 There's something so soothing and refreshing about being near the water. I'm glad you share this love for the beach and water. It's always wonderful to connect with fellow water enthusiasts. Thanks for your lovely comment! Love your picture, so blessed to live in such a gorgeous part of our country 😚😚
Hello Deb!! ❤ What wonderful festive celebrations!! So pleased you wore the Salty Crush dress on Christmas Day!! It was so festive and fun! Lovely! The food and games on Christmas Eve looked amazing too, sounds like it was a big success!! 😊 We had a very relaxing Christmas Day, just a small party at home but was really nice and cosy! I know how you feel about needing to reset. Traditionally, I take my tree down on NYE so I can start the new year fresh and clean. So that’s what I did this time too…each day between Boxing Day and NYE I would take down some of the decorations and the tree being the last thing. Then cleaning and tidying the house to have a new fresh feel. Love your sparkly skirt for NYE! We stayed home as well because we have a view of the fireworks from our house. Very handy! So, I made some food for family who came over and enjoyed a nice evening together. So pleased to hear the results of your heart rate test went well. I’m glad you went to get it checked out though. It’s wise to investigate any new changes, just to make sure all is ok. 👍🏼 Thank you for the reminder to shop more at Aldi. I’m so used to my routine of going to Woolies that I simply forget there are better options. This year, I must try to remember to go there more often. They don’t have everything I would normally buy, but I could definitely find a big chunk of my grocery list. I never got around to making granola last year…I need to get into that soon. You’ve sold me on the idea, it looks too delicious for me to miss out! Ha ha! Wonderful you had some time out and were able to read and relax. Awww what beautiful journal you received!! So happy for you! A lovely gesture!! 😊
Hi @megsfromaustralia8970, Thank you so much for your lovely comment! ❤ It sounds like you had a truly cozy and wonderful Christmas, just perfect for recharging and spending quality time with family. Your NYE sounds delightful as well, especially with the convenience of enjoying the fireworks from home! It’s great to hear that you’re considering incorporating Aldi into your shopping routine. It can really shake things up and you might find some fantastic deals! Making granola is definitely a tasty adventure, and I’m thrilled to inspire you to give it a try this year. It’s such a yummy treat! I'm so touched by the beautiful journal gift; it's always special to receive something so thoughtful. Thanks again for sharing your experiences and thoughts. It's always a pleasure to hear from you!😚😚

Thanks for sharing your New Year's experience, and here's to a fantastic year ahead for you and your family!😚😚
@DeborahAfter50Unlocked-p5h yes normally I get too tired at go to bed just after midnight new year. It seems the older we get the earlier we go to bed before or just after midnight. My parents in their 80s, last year stayed up until about 2.30am, wow, hey 👋

Hi @bronwyn3568, That's a great point! While Aldi is fantastic for many staples and unique finds, sometimes you do need to head to Woolies or Coles to complete the shopping list. It’s interesting how the stock can vary from one Aldi store to another as well. It’s always good to have a few go-to places depending on what you need. Happy shopping, Deborah 😊
Hi @am63607, I'm glad you're enjoying the Aldi smoked salmon-I'll make sure to look out for it next time! Regarding the nut-free granola recipe, I don't have one on hand, but I'll definitely keep an eye out and try to come up with something tasty for you to try. In the meantime, exploring some simple substitutions like seeds and coconut might be a great way to customize your own mix. Thanks for the suggestion, and I'll update you if I find a good recipe!😚😚
Hi @PollyHartland, Thank you so much for watching and for your sweet comment! 😊 I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed the video. How fun that your sister played the same game on Christmas Day! It's always wonderful to hear about shared holiday traditions. I hope you had a fantastic time and made some lovely memories together. Thanks again for sharing that with me, and I look forward to bringing you more videos soon!
Hi darling Deborah. I love your top, it looks gorgeous on you. You have a beautiful glow about you today. Maybe it's all the fun you had over the Christmas New year period. You must have worked so hard to get everything prepared and now you can relax. I took my decorations down on Boxing day, because like you, I needed the house in order again. I hope you are coping with this heat, I'm not, I've hardly slept a wink since it has been so hot. Today was a beautiful reprieve. Take care beautiful lady and I will see you soon. 😘🥰♥️♥️ xxoo.
Hi @jenraphael3538, Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad you liked the top and noticed the glow-I definitely enjoyed the festive season, though it was indeed a whirlwind of preparation! It sounds like you've been busy as well, getting your space back in order right after Boxing Day. It's always nice to start the new year fresh, isn't it? I hear you on the heat; it can be really tough to manage. I'm glad yesterday offered a bit of relief, today will be the same. so I hope you can catch up on some much-needed rest. Thanks again for your lovely comment and for being such a wonderful part of this community. Take care and stay cool, beautiful! See you soon! 😘🥰♥️ xxoo
Hi darling. Yes it was great to get the house in order once again. I had a great sleep last night thank goodness. I find Christmas exhausting as well but its a lot of fun. I love the dress you wore on Christmas day. I loved it when you did the haul. You look amazing in it. Take care darling ❤❤🥰😘 xx@DeborahAfter50Unlocked-p5h
Thank you sweetheart, hope you fared well during the hot weekend we had, luckily the temps are more reasonable this week, to get us ready again for a hot weekend 😚😚
I think I'm the odd one out here. Living half around the world from you. It is the middle of winter here. The tenp is getting down to about 9 degrees Fahrenheit tonight. Which is completely out of the ordinary for Alabama. The beach got 10 inches of snow. It hasn't received that in 130 years. So weird weather here. Counting down 2 months until spring. Enjoyed the video very much. Thanks again for sharing.🎋❤️
Hi @bonnieh5790, Wow, that sounds incredibly cold, especially for Alabama! It's fascinating yet quite startling to hear about such unusual weather there-10 inches of snow at the beach is definitely something for the record books. Stay warm and safe during this chilly period. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video despite the big distance and the stark difference in seasons. Spring will be here before you know it, and hopefully, it brings some much-welcomed warmth and sunshine your way. Thanks for watching and sharing a bit of your world with us! 🎋❤️
Hi @bronwyn3568, You're right not all brands are available at Aldi, I guess it's a good starting point or alternative weekly shopping destination. Take care, Deborah 😊
Oh Deborah, so lovely to film your reaction to my gift! You are so welcome and it’s so nice to see your genuine gratitude. You certainly put a smile on my face! ❤

Aldi we shop alot there but sometimes you still need woolies and coles for things aldi doesn't have too. And all aldi have some different stocks too
Hi @bronwyn3568,
That's a great point!
I love the Aldi smoked salmon. It’s so much cheaper than the other supermarkets. Also would you have a nut free granola recipe 😊
Hi @am63607, I'm glad you're enjoying the Aldi smoked salmon-I'll make sure to look out for it next time! Regarding the nut-free granola recipe, I don't have one on hand, but I'll definitely keep an eye out and try to come up with something tasty for you to try.
Nutti brand you can't get in aldi 😅😊
Hi @bronwyn3568, You're right not all brands are available at Aldi, I guess it's a good starting point or alternative weekly shopping destination.
Take care, Deborah 😊
Have you got a p o box?
Yes I do lovely, it's in my bio 😚😚
