You’re a genuine hero. Nobody actively sits there trying to help humanity unless there’s something in it for them. You make it clear you’re not here for the money. You make it clear you aren’t here for clout. You’re seriously only here to spread help to those who can’t see a physician to receive said help themselves. I can’t speak for everyone, but I personally see the pain in your eyes. You feel it all. You aren’t going around telling everyone they’re the problem or they’re insane. You look at everyone as someone who needs help, just another person. You aren’t some emotionless response robot like most therapists. You actually feel. You actually care. It’s not about you, it’s about humanity’s well-being. Keep going, you’re doing something absolutely amazing. I’m grateful for you, my roommate who introduced me to you is grateful for you. We both have a bad taste for therapists as a whole due to personal experiences. Yet him and I have both said if given the opportunity, we would love to simply sit down and chat with you or gladly pay for a therapy session. You put a good name on mental health physicians, please keep it going! You’re amazing, thank you for everything you’re doing 😌😌😌

Stuart, I have to say you really, REALLY bring a whole new perspective to NF’s music and how it we can look at how we approach situations and ways of thinking in our lives.
Yes, I have been addicted to reactors to NF’s catalog for way too long but I have gotten little nuggets from each song you have done that I haven’t found from countless others…..extremely excited to see what you have to say about so many of his songs coming up, thank you!

I'm excited for you to eventually reach his latest album, "HOPE". I think you'll be amazed at NF's growth as both an individual and as an artist. Honestly, there's not one song of his that I don't like, and I can't really say that about any other artist. I truly believe that NF is one of the most genuine and greatest artists of all time.

It's like I'm talking to my own therapist 🥹 I have been listening to NF for many years and have watched many reactions and none of them hit my as hard as yours did. Thank you for bringing a new perspective to some of my favorite songs & making me feel seen/heard. I'm glad you are on this journey.

As I look back on my life, I see many mistakes. I wish I would have spent less time working overtime trying to keep up with the Jones, (does anyone remember that term, lol) and more time just relaxing with my family and creating memories. i wanted the best so 4bdrm house with pool, nice cars. Three teens under 18 yrs old with their own cars with insurance. Now kids are gone and it’s just me and my wife in a single wide mobile home out past the middle of nowhere and beyond BFE. Nothing here but dirt and rattlesnakes. I am asked how can I live with so many rattlesnakes. My answer is that I know them, they are pretty predictable these slithering snakes, it’s the two legged kind that are unpredictable. I enjoy your reactions and how you connect with common people instead of trying to impress up with terminology we are not familiar with. Stay at it, sir!!
This song I requested “just like that” by Bonnie Raitt. I read it won a grammy award so I’m apparently not the only one who likes it. I don’t usually follow C&W so I had not heard Of her before but she did look familiar.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I think although our individual stories are different, many of us have these feelings in common but you don’t realise until its quite late. I found when I was younger, and people said the same to me, I didn’t listen. I thought I had all the time in the world. Now in my 40s I’m far more reflective about how I spend my time and deciding what’s important and what really isn’t. Glad you like the videos, makes it so worthwhile when people tell me that. Take care.

He wrote this song because he self was in a metaphorical coma after his mama passed away and he knew that if he didn't do something he was going to waste his life. And yes it could be for everybody else to wake up and realize you have more around you than what you know do not waste your life on pointless things

It sucks when you have everything but didn't you have nothing. Or when you have everything that you ever wanted but then it feels like that's not who you are you want to be something different

Simply put, obsession can cause neglection, and depression can cause our own self-repetition.... life is over in a blink of eye, so wake up and see what u have in front of u, or what ur able to go have. We are all human, tomorrow isn't something promised to anybody. Much love outcast fam ❤.

I liked your reaction as I hadn’t heard this song before. So after listening to it and hearing your thoughts, it got me thinking. These are my thoughts on the tracks message: The word ‘Breakdown’ in this track is an interesting word because it doesn’t always have to be negative as in a communicative, psychological or physical breakdown. It can of course mean ‘break-down’ which is a positive thing i.e: break down the walls to make connections, the barriers in front of you to reach a goal, the thoughts in your head to understand better, the problems to find solutions etc. Thus when NF says ‘wake up’ I think he means shift your perspective from walking around in nothingness, focusing on the emptiness and allowing yourself to drift; into moving towards and striving for something fulfilling or constructive by directing or focusing our brain power into a particular area of need and taking action. He’s saying action rather than reaction, as in don’t just get angry and Lose it, act calmly and plan for change. I also think NF is saying true wealth doesn’t come from possessions or quick fixes, rather it comes from knowing we are enough and that from our wealth of lived experience and building on the knowledge we have amassed, we can open up a wealth of opportunities and options which are worth far more in the long run. To be fortunate enough to ‘wake up’ everyday is a privilege and we should make the most out of it we can in the moment with eyes wide open.

Hi Stuart, love your NF reaction videos it has been great. I was wondering if you can react to either one of the following:
Chasing_(Demo) by NF and Mikayla Sippel
If you want love by NF
    Options by NF
    Clouds by NF
    Nate by NF
How could you leave us by NF
These songs are some of my favorites by NF. His music has helped me get through some tough times and since he is a Christian and I am a Christian I can relate to him more. And seeing you react to him makes me love his music more! So thankyou so much

I only recently came across your channel and i have to say that i find your prospectives on NF's songs really interesting! Thank you for your work. I wont forgive myself if i wouldn't try to recommend to you this: after watching your video about mansion yiu said yiu dont know the back story of what happened with his mom. It will be amazing and never before seen on TH-cam to see someone with your prospective about this sort of things react to "how could you leave us" which is an older song he wrote about him mom and then immediately react to "MAMA" which is a follow up to that song. I think you will have lots to talk about and appreciate doing it this way

It's kind of funny, because of my journy with PTSD, struggling with life, try to learn and help myself, now realizing that it's also kPTSD the big question who am I. Not knowing what are my own wishes, believes, skills etc. Maybe somebody never was able to think about.

Nicely done yet again mate. This song is both an indictment against the false god of materialism, and marking time in military parlance (left, right, left but not marching forward- staying stationary). Am going through this journey with you and your wonderful people in the comments. My introduction to NF was tragic (the suicide of a good mate). However this lad is real. Too many artists are completely fake. Love your breakdowns, your explanations of what is going on, and your approach to therapy. Love from Down Under mate. This Digger is a big fan for what it's worth👊

Heya! Another great reaction video. I love your way of using music as a starter for conversation around mental health as it makes it more digestible. Personally though, I feel like muting the music while talking is a bit abrupt. I understand wanting to put your voice upfront but I'd feel like fading the music out and just having it lower rather than completely muted keeps you from totally missing some lines. Keep up the lovely videos! Hope the opinion was not to unsolicited.

If you are willing to go into some harsher music (I know a lot of people aren't and I don't judge anyone for not wanting to engage with what I personally find appealing) there are a lot of good Metal tracks about mental health. (I think in general Metal is a great tool for therapy for the right person because a lot of Metal is dealing with very heavy subjects and it is just such a relief to know that you are not alone in those feelings. Even things as simple as grief. It's one thing to hear a song patronizingly go "Oh yea it's ok to be sad sometimes" but a whole different thing to hear a song feel devastated about the loss of a loved one and just let yourself feel it instead of trying to brush over it.)
    Some examples:
    - Bloodywoods "Jee Veerey" is about depression and suicidal ideation
    - Metallicas "One" is obviously about war related trauma
    - Wintersuns "Loneliness (Winter)" is about grief and loss
    - Sleep Tokens "Granite" is about abusive relationships (also probably the most accessible song on this list)
    - Ancient Bards "In my Arms" is about coping with child loss (and at the same time about a battle with a wizard because power metal is like that a lot of the time)
There are obviously more out there but those are songs that are pretty direct in their message and more accessible to a certain extent.

I take this video as representing his own dysfunctional family where substance abuse and domestic violence tore his family apart. He may be referring to his mother whose pill addiction caused her to live her life in a coma as such.
The little boy standing with his father at the door 🤔
