I was recently in art class at my college and a few talented artists are chosen to view and and get others to view and critique our peers work. a painting struck me as intriguing but no-one else in the hall, a critique claimed "the painting has accidental paint markings, it looks too unneat and therefore bad" ..the student appeared and said "its part of the painting" .. rejjies accent is a part of his art.

If you listen they also have very similar topics and styles in their lyrics, I could very well see him as a member of Odd Future. I think that's what people mean when they say they are similar. It's not controversial, its just what hip hop is. It represents where you're from, who you are and where you're going. I support Lecs, but these idiots wouldn't be able to say he sounded like OF or MF if he had his Dublin accent. Either way the bloke is getting recognized worldwide for his obvious lyrical ability and hopefully his true voice will shine through in years to come.
