The trilogy reflects the stages of grief: - "Starlight" tells us about the initial stages: denial and anger. Su's vocals sound as a desperate cry. It gets me goosebumps still today. - "Shine" is about the intermediate stages: bargaining and depression also known as the inflection point. I consider it one of Su-metal's finest works as a vocalist. - "Arkadia" represents the final stage: acceptance. Moving forward towards a brighter future. It's my all time favorite song. Enough said. They closed the Legend-MM - 21 Night show like this and it was absolutely perfect. 😁 Note that the Trilogy has been performed live complete and in a row only once, at Legend Metal Galaxy (Day 2). 🤘🦊

The most popular theory is that they are about the grieving process. The other theory that I prefer is that Starlight is a tribute to Mikio, Shine is about wishing Yui the best for her future, and Arkadia is about Su and Moa's determination to continue Babymetal.
Like I said in your previous reaction, it would have been better to experience this set of songs after watching Tales Of The Destinies and The One, that way this Trilogy Of Lights will make much more sense Anyway keep enjoying BM songs.🦊🤘

'Shine' is about acceptance. Su-Metal and Moametal accepted the fact that Mikio Fujioka is watching over Babymetal and Yuimetal is no longer with Babymetal. Even though Moametal doesn't really playing the guitar which she could, the mood of which this song captivate and portray is mesmerising. Su-Metal and Moametal performed this song for each other and for current and former members of Babymetal. The acoustic guitar which Moametal plays is one of Mikio replica if not his collection which Mikio have. They are leaving the memories that Babymetal created together but not forgotten. Arkadia is a very sad song by BABYMETAL but with a tempo of 100 BPM. It can also be used double-time at 200 BPM. The track runs 5 minutes and 19 seconds long with a C♯/D♭ key and a major mode. It has high energy and is not very danceable with a time signature of 4 beats per bar. "Road Of Resistance" is a battle cry and ready for war but "Arkadia" is a more of a victory after a long battle and looking forward to a better future.
