The little numbers on the right of the monthly view are page numbers for the weekly/daily!

This is the literal perfect planner for me. I love more than anything that it is so minimalist.
I use the monthlies to track wellness and finances. My work project tracking is done online.
I use the horizontal weekly overview for events, non-automatic bills, deliveries, and personal appointments.
I then make three lines across each day at the 7, 16, and 23.5 marks (23.5 is where the separation between Friday and Saturday is in the horizontal weekly overview). Everything before 7 is important info like resource outages and urgent tasks that I have to get done that day. Everything between 7 and 16 is work tasks. Everything between 16 and 23.5 is home tasks. After 23.5 is personal stuff like hobby/craft tasks, self-care reminders, gratitude, quote of the day, et cetera.

YOSEKA Stationery does a preorder for them each year. I’ve bought mine thru them. But also TAN still has these available on their website. They aren’t sold out. And they are on sale too. They also have some other options now which are awesome 👏🏼 I have shared them on my channel if you want to see those in detail.

    This is my work planner.
I ignore the dates on the weekly overview pages and use it as a running task list for the week.
I cover up my weekends with a NOTES sticker. I use it for notes that week.
I use the yearly overview as my index for pages I need to refer back to.

What a great planner! There was a time when I would have loved this! It's not right for me right now, but it is definitely a planner to keep in mind for the future. And you are right, it would be super easy to make this layout yourself with a notebook. But I know myself, and I have learned that I like to have things already printed out for me.

The TAN was my work planner in 2022 and is again this year. I have a full flip thru of 2022 and my 2023 setup on my channel. I adore the clean layout of this planner. It makes me happy every time I open it. The A5 affords so much space.

I had that planner as my 2022 work planner and it was amazing! Enough space for meetings and daily todos. With the smaller weekly calendar it was a great quick weekly priorities overview.
It’s a shame they don’t have a lot of notes pages, but because it was purely my work planner I wrote down my extra notes on weekend days and then on the monthly calendar I made a note where I can find notes related to a certain topic.

Amanda, so happy you are back from your trip. I can't remember who said this but another TH-camr said that if you do use Frixion on Tomroe River paper and you erase, whatever you wrote behind also gets erased too. I haven't had the courage to try this out; I just took her word for it. Because of this, I bought Micron pens to use in my Hobonichi Weeks and original Techo.

it makes sense, as it is the heat from the friction of the pen moving that makes the ink go away. you can sit a hot cup on it and it will also lighten or erase it.

Amazon had the Take A Note and then it sold out. I had it in my cart, was interrupted, went back to purchase it and it was gone, lol. I found it on Pinkoi - an Asian Etsy type site. WHAT I'm going to do with it is still an unknown, though I do like that 3/3/3 idea you mentioned 😉. LOVED the video - and I get you - I write with PURPOSE so those writing bumps can really be felt on the Tomoe River paper. I like this paper a lot for fountain pens but the Mohawk paper for the gel pens just cannot be beat - I have used a Pentel Energel Violet since they introduced it and I love, love, love it on the Erin Condren - thank you for introducing me to EC! ☺

Have you seen how Rebeka Plans use her TAN A6 for just doing tasks lists on the daily. I decided to get one of those, to keep running task lists. Another idea is time blocking of planned vs. actual between the light center line on the center of each vertical daily. I read deep work by Cal Newport. However, I have a different life than you do, since we are childless. If I try the Actual vs. Planned thing, I may pick up a second book next year. I cannot do a bullet journal, because it becomes productive procrastination of setting up constantly. Oh and I have to add week numbers to this, because here in the EU it is a thing, as an American over here I do not have a sense of what month usually has which weeks #’s in it. My danish friends have a great idea of what week # it is.

Sorry it is not Rebeka plans, I will go through my history and find the person, and give you the timeline. Unless you have a strong spirit, Because Rebeka is quite stressed in that video, you may want to skip the recommendation. But she does outline her issues with planning and perfectionism quite well.

    • @Stormbrise
      @Stormbrise ปีที่แล้ว

It is Ellie’s corner, about 30 min into the video. That she draws a line down near the time line on the daily vertical and uses bullet journal symbols. This is why I decided on the A6, I did not need all this room on an A5,not if I am using a Hobonichi cousin for my find a job/work planner.

hehe your pronunciation of tomoe river paper.. i actually buy the take-a-note for the ability to use the chinese holidays. I do have to put in all the american ones but. it allows me to see the Chinese ones at a glance. I actually love the format. I sorta use the timeline but i block off the evening ones essentially for my daily to dos. i have notes that i have to write for patients etc.. that gets listed at the bottom etc.
