Quite long animation, the following ones will be the usual 2 minutes long
Sidenote : originally, like the Helldivers, the characters are supposed to have their capes but it was such a nightmare to deal with so i scrapped the thing in the middle of the animation

8 and a half Unreal minutes of craziness. I liked when the Skaarj Queen went “oh my god” looking at the cellphone as well as the battle sequences.

OH MY GOD, so worth the wait. the gags are perfect, the camera work is phenomenal, the audio mixed like a dream... the xan bits had me absolutely ROLLING. 100000/10. :D!!!

What took a lot of time was making the maps. After 0:37 every location is made from scratch (the inside of the Kedalbe Starship, all the planets, the interiors, the last planet with the trenches omg) and trying to make the capes FUNCTIONING (i have PTSD of this i swear to god) i ended up scrapping the thing thinking no one will really notice or you'll imagine they wear capes alright ? xD . (also gathering/ripping and rigging Unreal 1 creatures took a bit of time)
had to check the calendar to make sure i wasn't in 2010 again

i have a few characters where i can give them facial expressions already (the Liandri Employee seen in Medicare Tournament 99 or Joe Barbaro) but yeah, here their faces are simple textures 😆i thought of using the AI to do something like when you make a picture sing but that's only an idea yet really

This is unbelievable quality, the longer format allows for so much more storytelling and differently paced gags.
The scene where the main character got stuck with a Ripper cause everything else got snatched up resonated so hard lmao, and the action scene at the end was actually thrilling, 10/10 cannot wait for more
