      @@K4R007 How is BMW going backwards compared to the other brands? Are you talking about everything being an additional charge versus Acura for example where the car comes with everything? One thing about BMW is that each car is considered built to order either by a customer or dealer. They still maintain that individuality so that will cost more. It's not a Bentley but you still can customize to an extent. I am very loyal to the brand even though I don't agree with everything they do. For the price point the new M3 performs amazingly well. It is hard to get the same feel in most other cars unless you go up to Porsche or even higher. The cars are becoming more digital and steering numb which is good and bad. Hard to please everyone. At least for the time being you can get a 6 speed on the G87 M2.

I love it because most people think it is a regular SUV with M badges that I put on myself. Very few people realize it is as fast as almost any car on the road including Tesla performance models. You need to use launch control to get 3.3 seconds without it is closer to 4.

    So good to see another LCI review. I think a lot of people overlook these because of the ‘awful ride’ comments from many of the pre-LCI reviews. I own an LCI and it’s pretty close to perfect if you want an M but also need a bit of practicality over an M3. Gotta say the XDrive is awesome in these as well.

    • @candywhite8781
      @candywhite8781 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Can agree 100%… I was frightend of the harsh ride due to alot of reviews on TH-cam - luckily mine was delivered with Michelins and in „comfort mode“ it drives close to a regular X3 (of course with a slight sporty touch to it). I think it really comes down to the fact if your X3M has Michelins or Contis.

    I looked at one of these before getting my Porsche Macan and so glad I went with the Macan. First of all the ride is absolutely horrible compared to the Macan. With it being so stiff I at least expected it to handle well but that is not the case either and then the looks don’t help it either. If you are considering this vehicle buy a Macan and thank me later.

    Good review. A couple things incorrect that you should address. There is no subscription fee if you built and ordered your car with heated and cooled seats. This is for people that did not pay for the option but bmw is making a lot of these options standard and kinda a pay later option thru a subscription. I’ve had my 2022 x3m comp on order for 6 months and has just been loaded on the train from Carolina so very excited as I have a 2022 x3 m40i right now that I purchased while waiting. Fun car but lacks the power I am looking for. Went with that same interior but marina bay blue with the 50 year m badges. Can’t wait!

    So I owned this car, but sold after less than a year earlier this year. It is ultra sporty, honestly hard to imagine how you would use a more sporty car on regular roads. It handles really well too. However its shortcomings are super obvious as well - it's super ultra uncomfortable. The ride is super stiff and the seats are very hard. It's a honestly a sports car made into an SUV form... don't expect to use it as a family SUV - your spouse, other passengers, are going to hate this... it shakes you to your core on anything other than super smooth roads.
    Instead of this, I suggest buying a preowned comfy SUV and then an M240i. The M240 will drive and handle better than this and the comfy SUV will take you around town in comfort. You are NOT going to have both in the same car with the X3M.

    • @GrooveTasticThang

      This comment totally reflects my ownership experience in a 19 X3M Comp. Ride is way to harsh. Damping so extreme it couldn’t always keep the tires on the road ( uk roads are in a poor state) . Stiff suspension due to the SUV height. Passengers found the ride very jerky. Together with perceptible turbo lag and x drive complexity it’s a jerky car to get off the line in normal traffic. Beautifully built , finished and practically. Get the 40i every time. I now drive a 540i Touring, the best.

      I think so. There is a definite difference between the two. The M40i is really fast and powerful, so it’ll be good for virtually everyone. But if you can afford to go all out and get a stupid fast SUV, get the M Competition. You won’t regret it

    • @bavlynabil7868
      @bavlynabil7868 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not really becoming a subscription. As per bmw, all cars will be sent out the buttons for heated seats. If you did pay for it when you were building the car, then you don’t pay a subscription fee. But if you didn’t pay for it while building, you have to pay for it. When you look at it that way it makes sense. As maybe people don’t need the option most of the time at their countries.
