In ‘95 Topher picked me up hitchhiking gave me a ride home 2 days before he passed away in a tree well here. He was skiing with others but when everyone came out at bottom he wasn’t there. I was working at the base that winter and rescue searched for days before they found him. Please ski trees with a partner and communicate with each other yelling or whatever. Stop once in a while to make sure your friend is in sight and yelling distance. Shit can go wrong in an instant. Topher was a ripping skier and knew the mountain like back of his hand.it can happen to anyone

You went to the far right of the actual hard part of tophers trees. This might be a blue tree run, but the double black “mushroom patch” is farther to the left. You will know you will have found it because it’s steep, thin trees, mini cliffs, and a cabin near the bottom.
U should go to steamboat springs and ride the tress on the run called the land of the little people hence the name though the trees are extremely tight and watch out for the cliffs on that run. Its my favorite run at steamboat springs btw

Gus Worford it is off the trail called “trestle”. This is not listed on the map as stated above but you can get to it from trestle. If you go the right way you will find tophers treehouse which a cool 3 story hut.
@@someonesomeone9122 The trail sign is at the very top where the little lean-to is (39°51'26.64", 105°45'35.72"). The treehouse is about a third of the way down if you trend skier's right (39°51'26.89", 105°45'32.48"). Go down Roundhouse past the Trestle run. After a left turn you'll run into the lower, moguled section of Roundhouse. Go left into the trees and start hiking. Once you reach the top point of this hill, start riding East Northeast towards Corona Way and I-40 and you should see it very quickly.
