Unfortunately I'll be using the /unlimited command to continue this survival world due to the major loss in progress! But that means I'll be able to add anything we want! Let me know what you want to see in this Survival World! Once complete, we'll move into the new Mobile Survival Base Series!
@@dre4dfulsaiyan265 I think you may be a little stupid no offense but it's not fair to assume someone died if they haven't been online for more than a year or 2
Hey can you make the hopper from scrapman’s ydib series episode 6 it’s the third drawing. Physics work differently in surgical and I wanted to see what you need for one and if it’s Efficient for transport
Moonbo, first off all: I love your videos, keep up the good work! Now, im a little confused... You say you lost your latest savefile of survival and had to upload an older savefile. How is it then that your base is still at the same progress from your last base building video a few weeks back? 🤔
Try setting the pistons to be on a cycle instead of being down when triggered this way they dont just stay down when the mobs or pieces are in the way.
Nice video. Maybe you could connect the sensors the controlers that would make the pistons extend and contract and extend... in a loop. This way they will (almost) never get stuck.
Turn the sensors down to 4 and get rid of the corners. Also, does glass or armored glass trigger sensors? If not, fill the gaps with it, or put a layer on the bottom of the hammers. But either way the sensors need to have less distance.
There are codes to save and load blueprints in survival. /export and / import , being whatever you want to call the blueprint. You look at the creation you want to export or look at the ground where you want to import it. Unfortunately it doesn't spawn in on the lift, so sometimes it will spawn way off somewhere, depending on how much room you have to spawn in the blueprint. You can find the blueprints in the LocalBlueprints folder in the Survival folder.
Mobile survival base sounds like a crazy idea, when that comes around I will certainly be watching it. Now that you get unlimited spuds, maybe you could build a practice shooting range?
I feel like it would work better if the sensor activated a timer to make the hammers rise and fall rapidly. That way it has a chance to hit the target multiple times.
Put the sensors in the hammers and turn sensitivity low enough to not pick up loot. Then put resource collectors along inside to remove loot. Also with sensors in hammers, you can fill in the gaps making for more hammer coverage. This will solve the problem of the hammers staying down with loot and fix corners as well.
Make a slot in the upper wall from the outside and put a block on the hammer and attach a resource collector on it. So if a hammer goes down, it will collect everything up.
Use repetitive logic system for the hammer to crush down and not get stuck. You know when the sensor is triggered, it will make an up and down movement. So it won't get stuck.
Talking to past Moonbo from the future: Yes haybots can hit that far in. They have a max range of 3 blocks with their lunging stab. Farmbots have a default range of about 3-4 with every swing of their scythe and they spread that for about 4-10 blocks across. Something you should try is rather than crushing, which is useful for the smaller guys, is fast penetrating shots (dirty and immature minds are welcome to leave now.) If you triple stack a max level piston and put a tier 3 metal block on the end and fire that out as fast as you can, if it hits and actually ends up dealing a hit (because sometimes it ends up pushing the bots instead of hitting them) then it's usually going fast enough to deal a significant amount of damage. Add some tier 3 concrete behind that tier 3 metal spearhead and you've added a bit of weight to it and it should deal some hefty damage. I built something like that in creative and when it would actually hit the Farm Bots, it seemed like it would penetrate thought them and about 60%-70% of the hits would be 1 shots. Considering that the Farm Bots end up exploding on their deaths, I think that's an idea worth exploring. The Hammers might kill them, but they'll leave them at your doorstep. But I'd suggest extending your ramparts out to make room for resource collectors on pistons that can swoop down to just low enough to collect the limbs as they fly about. You could also add in a vacuum pump system to suck in all the component kits and circuit boards that get dumped everywhere since they are now pickupable with vacuum pumps.
You can save blueprints in survival (dev mode only) by putting your target reticle on it and typing /export (creation name). Spawn a copy with /import (creation name)
I legit just made platforms out of tier 3 metal and chain link with a rail, so they can't climb on top while the platform is down. 2 pistons per platform, controlled by a controller. Stage 1 qt 15, on loop... I never had any issues at all.. at which point, you could nearly flush mount the design, so that you don't have a 3 story section just for these hammer heads.. if part of the issue is that you want it automatic start and stop, you could create a 24min timer and trigger it to start at 2300 and turn off at 400..
The pistons should be on a repeating circuit instead, so the bot pieces don't stop them from working. All pistons could come down at the same time or they could go down in a wave pattern.
I have two ideas that you can try since you have unlimited resourses now. I have two farms. One is a 24 by 25 plot auto farm thats surrounded by about 300 or more warehouse keys for raids 6 or below (I had to get 150 low friction blocks from the warehouse). The second one is on a desert mountain that raid proof, it takes no damage from any of the four bots (that includes tape bots). The water is connected below ground level though, but the four water cannons rotate in a way that cover the whole top like a lawn sprinkler.
They need to be solid; then need some form of pulse timer to cycle piston once when triggered. Maybe SR Latch? Fun build tho! With my crusher I had an issue with them hitting it while it was down; also the totebots need like a full second or 2 to decide there is an open path = move forward. I ended up using some timers so it remained up for 2 full seconds; then pulse down for .5 sec. Took 2 timers and like 4 gates... made my brain smoke.
Dirty cheater, great idea enabling those dev commands I have a save with the name as "dirty cheater" sometimes it's just fun to be able to make stuff without the pain of collecting the materials with those commands it's great to be able to export / save your vehicles and import them into another save (I was able to export and import creations there is a line / code you have to type in I can find it for you ?.
Sux you lost progress, but 'silver lining' for the unlimited inventory - lol. Just a thought, if you have the sensors pointing down, then you'll have no worries about the bots destroying them (plus it cures the corner issue) ;-) Also, no idea why YT didn't show me this video until I came to your channel - grrr, YT, fix your algorithms!

Moonbo, do you ever consider to start new survival world play it in co op with someone, that will be a great series. love your video.👍👍👍
Play with ScrapMan

Build a giant crane in the middle of the farm that will lower and drag resourse collector alond the ground around the farm!

Imagine instead of just blocks of metal using resource collectors for the actual hammer part
This plus a refinery drone car to collect said metal
you should add saw blades to the more vulnerable parts of the wall so the haybots dont attack that part

Watch scrap man for nomad survival

put resource collectors underground feeding refineries then it will automatically refine and clear out all the debris from the raid

MOONBO UPLOAD YESSSSSSS

I sure know that feeling. Well at least you didn't lose everything but still seeing all that progress just vanish is sad. Cheers!!
Yea, you are back, happy to see you again.

Put the sensors at the top pointing downwards, so that the scrap metal is not detected by setting their range 3 to 4 blocks above the ground
Cool Moonbo

You could solve the limb issue by installing some collectors inside near the walls? Not sure how you'd solve the tote bot head, though :-/
u could use a colector like a hammer to solve the problem with the legs
You should put a timer on them that way they can fully retract so no bots get stuck
I reccomend making the wall thicker
With tier 3 metal
You could use /export and /import

For the mobile base, maybe you can make it like a pickup van style? Just an idea
13:55 when in doubt, put a saw blade down.
you should build an ai turret to kill the bots

I’m excited for a mobile Base play through that sounds awesome and I’m curious how your going to handle farming.

Alriiight, hammers to *ham* stuff.
you could make the crushers out of resource collectors
make the sensors less sensitive so if there is a bot behind the hammer the sensor wont detect it
Please make a catapault to get to the packing station or Use a auto turret to protect the safebox
I love this idea
@@Moonbo thank you for replying
You should build a barge
You would have been better adding a logic gate relay so the hammers went up and down went activated rather then just down...
Nice

I would have had the whole ceiling fall on the bots instead of individual hammers

omg there are gonna be streams too???? :OO
It's Stahp Hammer Thyme
HEY MOONBO did you know that you could copy your save file so if you made a download link with it we could have a version of your world.
Cool and only like 95 people only got to this episode lol
Moonbo are u going to upload this series again?
I will love the mobile run but please make it with 20-30 min videos
Hey guys!
How about a flying base? Or is that too unrealistic?
nono, it's just too fuel eating
❤️
Not super effective but it's worked!
hi
You should post the save file. Might be a way to fix it.
Hi moonbo
why no more scrap mecanic
Have this world be your mech world so you can test if your mechs could work in survivla
Just have mechs to care wood fruit crates battle underwater flyer
I would've done the same
Wait infinity storage.
idk how to spell the things i spelled wrong
Hey moonbo you should try a survival World with a awesome survival mod like fantmod ... check it out is unbelievable great 👍
Pls make a new survival world
Helo
00fant’s mod plz
I’m first lol but hi moonbo
No streams pls.
More vids instead, if this is possible.
Unlimited inventory to replace what you know you had seems okay but keeping/abusing it means this is no longer survival. Kinda ruins the series.
Agreed, but at the end of the day there's not a single goal in the game at the moment, so there's really nothing to lose.
hi
