When I was a child, I had an imaginary friend. It was a man in a black leather jacket and slick hair. My mom said that when we were driving in a snow storm I begged her to open the window because my friend was freezing to death outside the car. She didn't open the window and I never saw him again.
I used to have dreams where I would wake up in the middle of the night, and I would yell for my mom but nothing would come out of my mouth no Matter how loud I screamed

This is a story from my mom's childhood. There was many kids in one house, and it was a small house so my mom was in the attic with my aunty Stephanie. Every night my mom would hear heavy builder footsteps walk around her room.
I always hear footsteps on the roof when I’m trying to sleep and when I was playing with my cat I saw an little boy sillouet :’) now I am looking forward to moving
I remember when I was eight years old playing with my friend Jessie in the early 80s. Some neighbors of mine tossed out a bunch of large moving boxes from their garage, so Jessie and I connected them together to make a train in my front yard. I was in the conductor's cabin cutting out the windows and Jessie was in one of the boxcars. I asked Jessie for some tape to connect a smoke stack I made out of construction paper, and she went to the caboose to get it, but didn't come back. Her older brother Jason came over to pick her up but when it became apparent she wasn't around, my parents and her parents went out to look for her. They found her on the other side of the neighborhood crying while walking down the sidewalk. They asked her what happened because there was no way she could've walked there in such a short amount of time, and she said she didn't know. They figured she might've been the victim of an attempted kidnapping and thankfully escaped, so for a week we could only play inside each other's houses. When I brought the memory up again in high school, she finally opened up to what really happened. According to her she was crawling to the caboose, which was still dark because we hadn't cut out any windows, but for some reason couldn't get to the end. She was crawling through an impossibly long cardboard tunnel. Along the way the surface of the tunnel was becoming sticky like a glue trap, it even stuck to her hair ripping a bit of it off. She eventually reached the exit and fell out of a garbage bin in the back of an apartment complex. She spoke with such conviction that for a minute I honestly believed her, but had a few theories of my own that made more sense. She could've had an disassociative episode or she was kidnapped but for some reason they had a change of heart and threw her in a trash can where she repressed that memory. I'll never know the real story since by the time we hit our senior year, we drifted apart. I just hope whatever happened that she's living a happy life.
Amazing, it's as if the cardboard tunnel became a portal of some kind. At least she didn't go to a parallel universe never able to get back to her own dimension. I wonder if children's imaginations have a kind of magic that could transport them much like The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Maybe adults can't accomplish this because logic kills the spell, much like children's ability to see spirits we can't.
I'm from New York City we were children that never went outside my mother went to visit her sister that lived in the south one day they put us in a big barn inside the bond there were planks laying against the wall we begin to play Ring around The roses the plank surrounded us they had Small arms and faces it was about eight of us children in the barn we had the range from 2 years old to 8 years old all the other children begin screaming and ran out of the barn I could not move I remember the piece of wood coming up to me we won't hurt you I couldn't talk and I couldn't move but a calmness came over me by the time the children came back with the adults I was still in that spot unable to tell them what happened

I may have been a bit late to this but I have a story myself. One time when I was maybe around 11 or possibly a bit older I was laying on bed and I remember everyone had been sleeping at this time. I shared this room with my older brother but before my grandmother had passed away my brother, sister and I would take turns spending the night at her house so I was alone. My bed was next to the window and my brother slept next to a dark closet that had always made me feel uneasy. I know it may sound silly. A child being afraid of a dark closet but i just couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. As I was laying there my heart started to race and I began to feel very uneasy. I remember hearing a bang from the closet but let it go because I just thought it was my younger sister from her room next to ours but it was seconds later that I decided to turn to look behind me. As I turned I remember seeing a black figure of a woman with long black hair. No face but it was like I could feel her smiling at me and there was no color. Just a dark figure. My heart felt like it was going to burst out of chest and I let out a gasp as I quickly turned back around with wide eyes. It was a few seconds after that I decided to look back but she was gone. I had a hard time falling asleep that night. The next day I told my mother about what happened the night before and she told me that I may have saw my aunt who had passed away years before I was born. My memory isn't the best but I still very clearly remember what I saw but I'm no longer afraid knowing that there was a possibility that it may have been my aunt who had such a big heart and love to share. Since then I've always been interested in learning more of my family members I was never able to meet and these types of stories.
When I was little my grandma came into my room and stood over my bed but didn't speak but she lived a few towns over and she was not visiting when I woke up the next day found out she had died of a heart attack in her bathroom she had not even been at my house I didn't realize till I was older that it must have been her spirit standing over me
My sister used to invisible friends only stayed at the house didn't go with her. The day that my mum packing house up to move house she saw the rocking chair that in my sister room move . They were no windows or anything near by could have made the rocking chair move. Unfortunately the invisible friends stayed at the house according to my sister and didn't see her afterwards
Scary childhood memory: I was four, and I lived in a two story building with my mom, dad, nonna, her husband, my aunt, my uncle, and two dogs. Well, my weird butt had an imaginary friend named Michael, who "lived in the vents". Yep.

I am going to be honest, the only "scary thing" I remember in my childhood was the middle room. Our house had three bedrooms, and the middle room was where my sister and I shared. We were extremely young, she was probably a toddler and I was entering 3rd or 4th grade, but we never really thought anything of the shadows on our walls until she woke me up one night. We really never went into the room since it was the darkest, and creepiest room of the entire house. Instead, we would opt to go to my other sister's room and play in there when we were awake. I remember one night when everything was silent, my sister woke me up in a sweat. I didn't see anything and dismissed her, but a few minutes later we both heard a noise and in the corner of the room stood a dark figure of a man that seemed to be floating near the ceiling. Our house used to be a hospital back in the 40s-50s, we even had a small apartment for the doctors and a sterilization chamber for the medical supplies. We were shocked to see the figure, but learning about the history of the house today explains a lot of the figures we saw.
I remember when I was little, mother, grandma and me went to a close friends funeral. The old friend and me was very close. Mother said I didn’t cry or anything, people looked at me funny and mother said I was giggling and laughing. She said that I say, “Popeye”(his nickname) was talking to me asking why was his wife crying. Mother said I talked about seeing ghost and talked to them till I was 7. Freaky😬

The thrown orb) I was thinking of ideas for videos and then I looked out my window a spooky like orb appeared like it was getting thrown.. I called for my sister and she saw the same thing but nothing throwing it. I swore not to speak of it again because it gives me chills. 2. A demon or imagination) I was hearing my brother talk to my sister in my room but they ignored everything I said. So I stepped out of the room to cool down. Then I looked at my brothers closed door and it cracked open then a figure came out of the door and I had a panic attack and burst down in tears. When I cry it means I'm hiding something or fear I don't cry out of anger and or sadness. So my brother new something happened and so did my sister, then they got my mom and we all haven't talked about it sense.... 3. Cowboy or Friend? Part1) When I was 8-9-10 i kept seeing a cowboy the first time was when me and my sister had bunk beds the door opened and I sat up and told my brother to go away I layed back down but the door weren't shut so I told him to shut it and go away. I sat up and then couldn't talk or move I thought I was to tired so I try to move eventually a cowboy figure showed up at the door and everytime I blinked it got closer then I saw it climbing the ladder to my sistet and I could move and talk again. Then I yelled "GO AWAY" It stared at me I could feel the eyes stareing at but there were no eyes. I told my mom the next day and she told me "Our house was a farm before" I got chills down my spine and never talked about it again because I thought I was weird. Cowboy boy or friend part 2) I woke up to my cat jumping on my bed acting like it had seen something that spooked it. I look and I see the figure of a cowboy again and I wondered if it was attached to me, once again I couldn't move and this time I slept on the top bunk I was scared it was coming for me this time but no. It hovered over my sister and I looked down then it looked up and vanished... Cowboy or Friend?) Part 3 This time I looked at my door and saw the cowboy chasing my cats. I got up and dashed down the hall to see nothing but my cats laying down purring. I have a story but it’s a bit short So I’m a teenager now but when I was a kid I was referred to as “the crazy kid” on the bus because I would always talk about the paranormal but I dropped that years ago because usually when I was talking about the paranormal weird things would happen and people would say I was trying to trick them even though I had no relation to the event. Anyways a few months ago my friend and I were bouncing on a trampoline tossing ourselves around and just a note my friend did not WHATSOEVER believe in the paranormal. So anyways, we were jumping around and we both did a flip he went back I went front and BOTH of us out of the corner of our eyes saw a fox with silver hair and black eyes lowering itself under the trampoline and at the same EXACT time we both jumped of the trampoline now the funny thing was I hadn’t talked about the paranormal AT ALL that day and my friend never brings up the paranormal. We knew we saw something because my friend didn’t believe in the paranormal and I wasn’t trying to scare anyone. Ever since that day I see that fox in my closet unless I close it. This actually all happened and I hope people reading it have a good day.
I have a creepy childhood story. I remember this one time I was walking home from my friends house it usually took me around a half hour to get back to my place, it was around 9pm I was walking the same way I did everyday up this huge hill and down the main street(there are many side streets that connect to the main street that I also could have took they all connect just they are all creepy and dark streets so I never went that way) then up to the mall close to my house then I usually would cut in behind the mall and get to my house threw a small path, Only this night when I left her house I got up the hill I had this weird feeling in my stomach like I was being followed or watched I've never felt that way before, so I continued to walk down the main street not paying much mind to anything around me. I was like 10mins from the mall and I had to stop to cross the street. The weird feeling got stronger and stronger as I stood there for what felt like 20minutes and was only 2, I looked to my right across the road from me to find a man just starring at me. So the light finally change I started crossing so did he on the opposite side so i walked a little faster tried to make it so I felt i got ahead of him, I looked behind me and he was crossing over the road (j walked) to my side of the street. I walked even faster almost jogging and he picked up his pace almost breathing down my neck, we get to the mall at this point I didn't want him to know where I lived so I swallowed hard and I stopped turned around to face the man and stood there waiting for this man to say something to me, he also stopped then started to introduce himself as joey a friend of a friend looking for my sisters address to "bring" her something I told him I didn't know my sisters address and that I had to go my dad was waiting for me and for him to please stop following me. I turned to start walking again I got maybe 5 steps before I felt this man hands on my shoulder he turned me around really quickly and said stop your not going anywhere until you give me your sister address I told him no again, this went on for about 4 hours of him asking me for my sisters address her number, I'd try to leave he'd pull me back and hold me in that spot he told me I wasn't leaving until I told him.....I finally gave in giving him a fake address and its like he knew it was fake we spent another 30mins of him asking details about my sister and her location. I seen this Lady she was mid 20s (i was like 14) walking in our direction so I yelled to her saying hello as if I knew her and luckily she started coming over to us and could see i was in distress so she is almost to us she starts to make conversation with this man distracting him from me, as soon as he turned to talk to her I ran across the parking lot not looking back I got to the path and ran even faster as if he was still right behind me when I got home my dad was waiting for me he was very angry I was late at this time is was 1am I never came home ever this latte before

My mom once told me that I came into her room around 2 or 3 am. I was standing in between her trashcan and her bedside table. She tried talking to me but I never answered. She doesn't know if she was really awake or if it was just a dream. This happened a few months ago.
When I was 9 years old I had a vivid dream of someone walking up to me as I was on the ground and repeating over and over that not to worry, that everything is going to be ok, your going to be alright, as my vision became darker and blurry. In my early teens I would have random dreams of running away from a fast moving lava flow, several times and a couple dreams of being chased by military tanks and one dream of running from what looked like people from the mafia. As a child I got a huge rash overnight, covering both my legs, hips down to my ankles and I could not bend my legs or feet to walk normally, it was painful, I had to walk sideways for almost two weeks, parents took me to the doctors and no one could tell what it was. One doctor said it could be lead poisoning, my dad called him a quack. Then it vanished as quickly as it had appeared. Now I'm wondering if it was all from some horrible previous life incident.
My creepiest childhood is in 1997, I was alone in a room and there’s a noise, and 5 seconds later there’s a bang and the room became smelly And i turn around I saw the floor, and I just realized that I just did no.2
My mom told me when I was four I used to give her details of a past life that kind of freaked her out.. I told her I was a traveling salesman from Pittsburgh named Paul that died when my wife stabbed me in the back. She dismissed it as something I saw on TV until she read about how birthmarks can maybe tell how you died in a past life and remembered my Pac-Man shaped birthmark...on my back.
When I was younger, I'd say around 6 or 7. My father, Mother, my older brother who was around 12 and I went camping during the summer. This was a new campground. As we had arrived i started to feel like I couldn't breathe, once we had stopped, I busted out crying, my mother hopped out of the car and ran to my door opening it and asking me if I was ok, I had told her that I "didn't want to die again" and to" please keep me away from the water". Of course, she was confused and concerned. I don't remember much after that, but my mother told me that I swore up and down that I had died there with my two sisters. Come to find out years later that a year before I was born 3 young girls had died in the river beside that campground, and apparently the oldest girl had tripped, and a piece of metal had gone through her upper thigh, and she ended up drowning. I have 2 birth marks in the exact spots that the girl had he wounds, also to this day I have a huge fear of drowning. (And this comment is very late so I doubt it will ever be seen, but I just wanted to share)
in 2011 my grandmother passed away, she had this toy woodchuck when she was young, and it was given to me, it was battery operated and it made noise when you squished it, one night when i was going to bed, i heard the toy woodchuck from my closet go off which was strange since you needed to squish it from the bottom in order for it to make noise, when i got up from my bed to check it out, i saw nothing and the woodchuck was still in the box i had left it in for so long.
When I was a little girl I used to talk to this ghost named Cleo, and I said there was "a post man in my closet". I also said there were monsters in the walls. I was a real weird kid, haha
When I was 9, I had a 13 yr old friend named Teddy. He had a brown hair and yellow skin, he said he would stab anyone who dared to be rude to me. Then i realized, my mom was rude to me yesterday, I then asked my mom if we could move to Georgia and she said “okay!” We are now in Georgia and I’m in constant fear.
One i remember was back in ohio and around nightime when we got a weather alert and we went into the basement and a few minutes later we went up and saw a big wall cloud passing over us and i coukd see the funnels going down then back up and one almost touched the ground

I love my cousina and we would share and do almost any thing together. So when she moved into her new home, the night she was first there (may I inform you, there where no walls when she got there for her own room) she was in her bed and woke up, i don't know when, there was man standing in front of her where her wall is know, he was staring at her not moving, she put the blanket over her head and fell asleep. The next morning she when to go ask her mom (my aunty) about the man and she told my cousin she also saw him while she was doing yoga. The building she was living in and she is living in now, was and I'm not 100% sure but it use to be a type of hospital. My granny came over to pray for then and everything was okay.

Now from what I remember is, my parents' friends lived north of my home town on an Acreage where there was a Lot of trees. No we were told not to answer the door or open the door at night Under 0 circumstances. Now everything went well until I was asleep. I woke up To sounds of Tapping on the outside Of the house and curiosity Got the better of me like any other cat, And I looked outside the window and what I saw I will never be able to get out of my mind. I saw a human like creature with no eyes just sunkin black holes where the eyes were. This thing had no lips, chalk white skin, and was extremely thin. Wore no clothes. And I guess it was tapping on the house trying to find a way in. I remember how scared seeing that made me. And yes, ok, I was 4. I was young and I remember playing at a park and I was on a red jungle Jim that was like a cylinder and I remember falling and everything going silent and black and I went completely blank until I was like 7 so today I believe I died and I somehow returned but sometimes i also had a time when I was young when I started having visions and they would always end in my death so I believe every time I died in my visions I would revive and the visions would disappear for a while but re-emerge from my past but they always stay the same
My grandmother had a house on the outskirts of a small town she had a basement i was always scared to down in the basement I got the chills everytime I went down there
I'm almost 12 and sometimes rarely I wake up in my pillow like that as well and it always end with me screaming, trying to move and eventually, passing out from, well not being able to breath.
Once when I was a kid I was at the dinner table with my parents and my brother, we were talking and my dad said something in portuguese and I perfectly understood what he said. Some years later at school we watched a Pope's speech in Brazil, he was speaking in portuguese and I again understood every word. Never have I taken portuguese lessons or anything like that.
This might not be even real but I remember this VERY vividly. When I was about 3, we were rearranging the furniture in our living room, so in my 3 year old brain, everything was brand new. We were watching TV one day, and my dad was flipping through channels. We didn't get some channels where I live, so instead of showing the video, it would come up as loud static. Well, my dad flipped to a channel, and static came up. For some reason he stayed on that channel for a few seconds. I looked at the static and saw a creepy, monster-like figure in the static, looking right back at me. At this point, neither of my parents were paying attention, probably they were talking about something. The figure got closer, and whispered, "I'm gonna haunt you." A few seconds later, the figure disappeared. The scariest part about this is, I wasn't scared of it, and 12 years later, looking back at it, I realize how much of a disaster that could have been. Yeesh.
Hello I am a minister and caregiver and I have a true story that is very odd indeed. I was a farmer 🚜 in Virginia and was looking at some properties with extra land to raise cattle but this land i was looking at had an old cabin on it for sale with the land. One day I was going there to see if the land was what I needed for cattle and the water supply was good. I was with another person who had to leave and left me there alone to check the property out. So I went into the cabin to see what it was like. I looked around and was going downstairs into the living room and with my first step into the room a man's deep voice said (What are you doing?) In total shock I said ( I'm not doing anything!) and ran out as fast as I could. But just as I opened the door 🚪 there was Graves 10 feet away from the cabin on the lower level dated 1870, 1840, 1890 there where about 20 of them. Needless to say I was found walking home 5 miles away. I said I would never go there again. I've never been back.
So this is was when I'm a ten I woke up really late it was still night and I sometimes hear a lil girl screaming that freaks me out and by that time I heard that girl widespread "help me...its not safe" I woke up and I did not sleep at all but I still hear her till this day...
my brother and sister used to play on a kids soccer team when I was just a baby but for some reason, I have vivid memories of watching them play soccer and even being on the team with them, but in all of those memories I'm a little girl with dirty blonde hair and not brown hair which is my actual hair color
I had a nightmare that occurred several times but hasmt for a few years now. I would open my eyes and I was in a garage cluttered with boxes like someone had just moved in. It was a HUGE garage like a 10 car garage. It was always night in the dream and the only light was from the moon through the little garage door windows, otherwise, pitch black. So basically it's pitch black between each door and then very little moon light. There was one door at the far end. It would open and this thing i couldn't even describe if I wanted to stepped in the door way with light behind it and stepped in the garage and slammed the door. It would pass through the moonlight as it got closer, ir was emitting a sound that I can only describe as terrifying and deafening. And just before it got me I would awake in terror.
When I was 6 years old I was in my bed like at 1 or 2 AM for some reason and I saw a big shadow coming to my room . The shadow then became bigger and bigger like a guy over 3 meters tall . When it was about to come in my room it vanished and when I saw in the hallway i saw both
I have a memory of a past life. I was in a forest, one where the trees seemed to be spaced evenly apart and it was sunset, because everything looked golden. No brush or bushes on the ground. A horse drawn wagon came up and there were hay bales in the back with people sitting on them. I was wearing pilgrim style clothing and so were they. I climbed up, took a seat, no one said a word, and off we went.
When I was in second grade, I was always scared to go to the main bathroom because I thought I was seeing a ghost, everytime I would go to wash my hands and see a woman with black hair in a bun wearing a blue top, and she would always be looking down at something. I was completely terrified of going there and my teacher would let me use a different bathroom, but it was only when I didn’t want to see her that was the only time I could, my mom told me that I talked about it a lot. (I only saw her in the mirror, she was standing right next to the paper towel dispenser) I was always scared to get a paper towel and I either hesitated or just used my shirt, kids in my class would always ask me to show them but they couldn’t see it, looking at it now they probably thought I was crazy.
from about 1 and 1/2 to 3 years old I would carry on a conversation when nobody was there and the weird party is I actually remember it somewhat. I remember hearing a little boy's voice but I never saw him if I remember right his name was Dark and he told me he had a twin brother named Ben and here is the weirdest part in 7th grade a girl moved to my town and joined our class and we became good friends one day we were on the subject of imaginary friends and she mentions haveing an imaginary friend named Ben who ALSO stayed with her from 1 and 1/2 to 3 years old even though I hadn't told her about Dark yet this really freaked me out a bit and her too when I told her about Dark afterward.
i remeber in my childhood i used to talk to someone named sophie one day she dissapered i ask my mom what happened to her and she said that there was no one named sophie in the house, i asked her if she remebers and she said yes and that in the cameras we had in home she said that she saw me talk to something or someone that she could not see
When I was a little kid I had a dream about the vacation home we were going to the next day. When we got there the house looked exactly like the one in my dream inside and outside.
Oh my god....I've had an extremely similar dream to the bulkan at 27:19 My heart actually dropped down to my stomach from how similar it was to my experience. A couple years ago, I was starting my first semester at a bible college and was living in the dorms on campus. One night I had a dream where it felt like I was looking right through my eyelids as I was sleeping and could see my desk and window from across my bed. Out of nowhere in my peripheral vision I noticed a hag-like figure standing right next to my bed. She looked like she was decaying and slightly mummified. She just stood there next to me until she lunged forward at me and I woke up screaming. Every time I sleep on my back I make sure to put a sleeping mask on because of that experience lol. But that's crazy that something so similar happened to someone else.
When i was little i would dream a scary looking dog So..there a was a show that i would watch and in the show the dog was there when it was night time i would lay my room is next to the big room so I'll be scared from that room And i would always dream the dog in the big room next to my room and when i grow up i forgot it i always hated it that show
Story 1: I grew up in a 100 year old house. I used to have an imaginary friend as a child I would talk to through the walls, he told me his name was Johnathan. Years later my husband bought my childhood home for me, upon investigation of property census records, the first person(s) to live in my house was a man named Johnathan whom had a son also named Johnathan. Story 2: Over all of my collective 15 years of living in my historic home I've had tons of encounters with the spirits who inhabit it. One of the more prominent stories I have is my 9th birthday party. I had maybe 5 friends over, one of which was a friend of a friend. She had asked where the bathroom was which was upstairs, we were all downstairs. She went up and returned very quickly and said she wanted to go home. She looked so frightened. I asked her what was wrong she didn't answer. I later found out from our mutual friend that she had seen a tall man upstairs by the bathroom door with a top hat and cut on his face. While this is creepy enough it was even creepier to find out years later that this same man would appear at the foot of my mother's bed nightly for years. I still love my house more than anything and will never leave.

So for years I've had the same reoccurring nightmare, I'm 20 years old now, almost 21 and been dealing with this nightmare for as long as I can remember, it goes like this; I wake up feeling the cold concrete floor below me, I open my eyes and see absolutely nothing, I can feel the cold metal shackles on my wrists as I stand up and I start wandering in one direction feeling for a wall, but no matter how far I walk I can't find a wall, so I start yelling the names of people I know and love as loud as I can, but all I get in return is this horrifying silence, this nightmare feels like it goes on forever, and when I wake up I find myself screaming a different person's name every time
I don’t remember my childhood well, but, I do remember laying on a mattress on the ground. I didn’t have a bed-frame because we were moving, it was night, and in the doorframe, I saw a tall shadow. I have this birth mark on the back of my knee and it constantly burns. The doctors have never said anything was wrong and I have another birth mark on my neck which also burns.
When i was little i had a imaginary friend called Drop Dead Fred. Once my mum got me two hamsters, i loved them so much and gave them so much attention. Fred started to get jealous and he started to act really weird. When i came home from school one day i saw him by my hamsters in the kitchen, then he disappeared as soon as he realised i saw him. Then the next day both my hamsters died at the same time. I never saw him again until two years ago. I constantly feel his presence where the hamsters cage used to be
When I was younger around 3-5 years old I was sleeping in my parent's room with my dad that night cause I was scared of the dark and my mom was sleeping in me and my sister's room with her. Around midnight - 3 am my parent's door open a little bit so I couldn't see anyone on the other side. A few seconds after the door opened I heard a zombie noise coming from the other side and minutes after they/it slammed the door. The next morning I went to my grandma's house with my baby sister, mom, and dad, I told them about what happened and they said they didn't see nor hear anything, my mom claimed she was up at that time getting a glass of water so what happened still remains a mystery because I haven't heard of the thing again and everything remained normal from that morning on.
A recuring dream I have is me, my little brother, and little sister are being chased by a shadow like man. We finally saw a door with our parents standing in the doorway, we ran to the door but, right before we ran threw the door the door slammed shut. Right before the shadowy man grabbed my little sister and dragged her into the darkness I wake up my cheeks wet with tears.
This is past life but when i was about 4 years old I had this dream several times, in this dream there was 3 balls of light trying to teach me to fly. I would concentrate really hard and I was able to. In the dream it was always in the same location. We were on a dirt road and had trees on both side of the road. I never forgot that dream. Interesting thing was when I was about 18 and rode horses at this ranch, there was a path at the far end of the cow pasture. There were trees and on the other side of the trees the land was kind of swamp land, most of Florida is. There was a small creek that we crossed and you had to duck to get under some branches but once on the other side there was a beautiful hidden path. I always felt so at peace there. Then one day i was out there by myself and I realized the place was so familiar to me. It looked just like the place in my dream from when I was younger and trying to learn how to fly.
This might not be as scary as others, but I remember as a kid going to a camp for a week. There was this lake and the dorm mom yelled at me in the morning because I got up and ran out of the dorm. She said I was talking about voices and sat down by the lake. The dorm mom never let me go to sleep without my friend trapping me in blankets. It still leaves me confused.
I had a great Aunt who apparently I never met but one day when I was just a kid, while mum and dad were talking about her I piped up and said how beautiful her long white hair is. I asked when we can visit her again. Mum and dad both looked really spooked and mum insisted that I had never visited my great Aunt. I then proved I had by describing her hospital room exactly and even the position of all the furniture in the room and all of her things. She had passed away in that room just recently and yes, she really did have beautiful long white hair.
I have a similar near-abduction story. I live in a city about an hour west of Toronto. When I was a child I was out walking my dog and fell not too far from my house. A car pulled up beside me with a couple in it, a blonde woman and brown haired man. They asked if I was okay, and offered me a ride home. My knees were bloody, and I was in pain, so I was going to accept, except my dog would NOT get in the car. The backseat was small and she squirmed at the door. I couldn't leave her there, so I tried to coax her into the car. Then suddenly the car door slammed and the car took off. I think my neighbor whose kids I used to play with saw me and started coming out with bandages to help. I was patched up and sent home. I thought it was weird and although the memory got a little hazy (eg. what they looked like) never forgot about it. Years later, I am watching a documentary on Paul Bernardo and Karla Holmoka. They're showing evidence pictures and one was their car. The same one I recognize as the car they may have tried to get me in that day. It wasn't traumatizing at the time, but in hindsight, it makes my stomach jump into my throat.

This is a story from my mom's childhood. There was many kids in one house, and it was a small house so my mom was in the attic with my aunty Stephanie. Every night my mom would hear heavy builder footsteps walk around her room.
I always hear footsteps on the roof when I’m trying to sleep and when I was playing with my cat I saw an little boy sillouet :’) now I am looking forward to moving
I remember when I was eight years old playing with my friend Jessie in the early 80s. Some neighbors of mine tossed out a bunch of large moving boxes from their garage, so Jessie and I connected them together to make a train in my front yard. I was in the conductor's cabin cutting out the windows and Jessie was in one of the boxcars. I asked Jessie for some tape to connect a smoke stack I made out of construction paper, and she went to the caboose to get it, but didn't come back.
Her older brother Jason came over to pick her up but when it became apparent she wasn't around, my parents and her parents went out to look for her. They found her on the other side of the neighborhood crying while walking down the sidewalk. They asked her what happened because there was no way she could've walked there in such a short amount of time, and she said she didn't know. They figured she might've been the victim of an attempted kidnapping and thankfully escaped, so for a week we could only play inside each other's houses.
When I brought the memory up again in high school, she finally opened up to what really happened. According to her she was crawling to the caboose, which was still dark because we hadn't cut out any windows, but for some reason couldn't get to the end. She was crawling through an impossibly long cardboard tunnel. Along the way the surface of the tunnel was becoming sticky like a glue trap, it even stuck to her hair ripping a bit of it off. She eventually reached the exit and fell out of a garbage bin in the back of an apartment complex.
She spoke with such conviction that for a minute I honestly believed her, but had a few theories of my own that made more sense. She could've had an disassociative episode or she was kidnapped but for some reason they had a change of heart and threw her in a trash can where she repressed that memory. I'll never know the real story since by the time we hit our senior year, we drifted apart. I just hope whatever happened that she's living a happy life.

Amazing, it's as if the cardboard tunnel became a portal of some kind. At least she didn't go to a parallel universe never able to get back to her own dimension. I wonder if children's imaginations have a kind of magic that could transport them much like The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Maybe adults can't accomplish this because logic kills the spell, much like children's ability to see spirits we can't.

I'm from New York City we were children that never went outside my mother went to visit her sister that lived in the south one day they put us in a big barn inside the bond there were planks laying against the wall we begin to play Ring around The roses the plank surrounded us they had Small arms and faces it was about eight of us children in the barn we had the range from 2 years old to 8 years old all the other children begin screaming and ran out of the barn I could not move I remember the piece of wood coming up to me we won't hurt you I couldn't talk and I couldn't move but a calmness came over me by the time the children came back with the adults I was still in that spot unable to tell them what happened

I may have been a bit late to this but I have a story myself. One time when I was maybe around 11 or possibly a bit older I was laying on bed and I remember everyone had been sleeping at this time. I shared this room with my older brother but before my grandmother had passed away my brother, sister and I would take turns spending the night at her house so I was alone. My bed was next to the window and my brother slept next to a dark closet that had always made me feel uneasy. I know it may sound silly. A child being afraid of a dark closet but i just couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. As I was laying there my heart started to race and I began to feel very uneasy. I remember hearing a bang from the closet but let it go because I just thought it was my younger sister from her room next to ours but it was seconds later that I decided to turn to look behind me. As I turned I remember seeing a black figure of a woman with long black hair. No face but it was like I could feel her smiling at me and there was no color. Just a dark figure. My heart felt like it was going to burst out of chest and I let out a gasp as I quickly turned back around with wide eyes. It was a few seconds after that I decided to look back but she was gone. I had a hard time falling asleep that night. The next day I told my mother about what happened the night before and she told me that I may have saw my aunt who had passed away years before I was born. My memory isn't the best but I still very clearly remember what I saw but I'm no longer afraid knowing that there was a possibility that it may have been my aunt who had such a big heart and love to share. Since then I've always been interested in learning more of my family members I was never able to meet and these types of stories.

My sister used to invisible friends only stayed at the house didn't go with her. The day that my mum packing house up to move house she saw the rocking chair that in my sister room move . They were no windows or anything near by could have made the rocking chair move.

I am going to be honest, the only "scary thing" I remember in my childhood was the middle room. Our house had three bedrooms, and the middle room was where my sister and I shared. We were extremely young, she was probably a toddler and I was entering 3rd or 4th grade, but we never really thought anything of the shadows on our walls until she woke me up one night.
We really never went into the room since it was the darkest, and creepiest room of the entire house. Instead, we would opt to go to my other sister's room and play in there when we were awake.
I remember one night when everything was silent, my sister woke me up in a sweat. I didn't see anything and dismissed her, but a few minutes later we both heard a noise and in the corner of the room stood a dark figure of a man that seemed to be floating near the ceiling.
Our house used to be a hospital back in the 40s-50s, we even had a small apartment for the doctors and a sterilization chamber for the medical supplies. We were shocked to see the figure, but learning about the history of the house today explains a lot of the figures we saw.
I remember when I was little, mother, grandma and me went to a close friends funeral. The old friend and me was very close. Mother said I didn’t cry or anything, people looked at me funny and mother said I was giggling and laughing. She said that I say, “Popeye”(his nickname) was talking to me asking why was his wife crying. Mother said I talked about seeing ghost and talked to them till I was 7. Freaky😬

When I cry it means I'm hiding something or fear I don't cry out of anger and or sadness. So my brother new something happened and so did my sister, then they got my mom and we all haven't talked about it sense....
3. Cowboy or Friend? Part1)
When I was 8-9-10 i kept seeing a cowboy the first time was when me and my sister had bunk beds the door opened and I sat up and told my brother to go away I layed back down but the door weren't shut so I told him to shut it and go away. I sat up and then couldn't talk or move I thought I was to tired so I try to move eventually a cowboy figure showed up at the door and everytime I blinked it got closer then I saw it climbing the ladder to my sistet and I could move and talk again. Then I yelled
"GO AWAY"
It stared at me I could feel the eyes stareing at but there were no eyes. I told my mom the next day and she told me
"Our house was a farm before"
I got chills down my spine and never talked about it again because I thought I was weird.

I have a story but it’s a bit short
So I’m a teenager now but when I was a kid I was referred to as “the crazy kid” on the bus because I would always talk about the paranormal but I dropped that years ago because usually when I was talking about the paranormal weird things would happen and people would say I was trying to trick them even though I had no relation to the event. Anyways a few months ago my friend and I were bouncing on a trampoline tossing ourselves around and just a note my friend did not WHATSOEVER believe in the paranormal. So anyways, we were jumping around and we both did a flip he went back I went front and BOTH of us out of the corner of our eyes saw a fox with silver hair and black eyes lowering itself under the trampoline and at the same EXACT time we both jumped of the trampoline now the funny thing was I hadn’t talked about the paranormal AT ALL that day and my friend never brings up the paranormal. We knew we saw something because my friend didn’t believe in the paranormal and I wasn’t trying to scare anyone. Ever since that day I see that fox in my closet unless I close it.

I have a creepy childhood story. I remember this one time I was walking home from my friends house it usually took me around a half hour to get back to my place, it was around 9pm I was walking the same way I did everyday up this huge hill and down the main street(there are many side streets that connect to the main street that I also could have took they all connect just they are all creepy and dark streets so I never went that way) then up to the mall close to my house then I usually would cut in behind the mall and get to my house threw a small path, Only this night when I left her house I got up the hill I had this weird feeling in my stomach like I was being followed or watched I've never felt that way before, so I continued to walk down the main street not paying much mind to anything around me. I was like 10mins from the mall and I had to stop to cross the street. The weird feeling got stronger and stronger as I stood there for what felt like 20minutes and was only 2, I looked to my right across the road from me to find a man just starring at me. So the light finally change I started crossing so did he on the opposite side so i walked a little faster tried to make it so I felt i got ahead of him, I looked behind me and he was crossing over the road (j walked) to my side of the street. I walked even faster almost jogging and he picked up his pace almost breathing down my neck, we get to the mall at this point I didn't want him to know where I lived so I swallowed hard and I stopped turned around to face the man and stood there waiting for this man to say something to me, he also stopped then started to introduce himself as joey a friend of a friend looking for my sisters address to "bring" her something I told him I didn't know my sisters address and that I had to go my dad was waiting for me and for him to please stop following me. I turned to start walking again I got maybe 5 steps before I felt this man hands on my shoulder he turned me around really quickly and said stop your not going anywhere until you give me your sister address I told him no again, this went on for about 4 hours of him asking me for my sisters address her number, I'd try to leave he'd pull me back and hold me in that spot he told me I wasn't leaving until I told him.....I finally gave in giving him a fake address and its like he knew it was fake we spent another 30mins of him asking details about my sister and her location. I seen this Lady she was mid 20s (i was like 14) walking in our direction so I yelled to her saying hello as if I knew her and luckily she started coming over to us and could see i was in distress so she is almost to us she starts to make conversation with this man distracting him from me, as soon as he turned to talk to her I ran across the parking lot not looking back I got to the path and ran even faster as if he was still right behind me when I got home my dad was waiting for me he was very angry I was late at this time is was 1am I never came home ever this latte before

When I was 9 years old I had a vivid dream of someone walking up to me as I was on the ground and repeating over and over that not to worry, that everything is going to be ok, your going to be alright, as my vision became darker and blurry. In my early teens I would have random dreams of running away from a fast moving lava flow, several times and a couple dreams of being chased by military tanks and one dream of running from what looked like people from the mafia. As a child I got a huge rash overnight, covering both my legs, hips down to my ankles and I could not bend my legs or feet to walk normally, it was painful, I had to walk sideways for almost two weeks, parents took me to the doctors and no one could tell what it was. One doctor said it could be lead poisoning, my dad called him a quack. Then it vanished as quickly as it had appeared. Now I'm wondering if it was all from some horrible previous life incident.

My mom told me when I was four I used to give her details of a past life that kind of freaked her out.. I told her I was a traveling salesman from Pittsburgh named Paul that died when my wife stabbed me in the back. When I was younger, I'd say around 6 or 7. My father, Mother, my older brother who was around 12 and I went camping during the summer. This was a new campground. As we had arrived i started to feel like I couldn't breathe, once we had stopped, I busted out crying, my mother hopped out of the car and ran to my door opening it and asking me if I was ok, I had told her that I "didn't want to die again" and to" please keep me away from the water". Of course, she was confused and concerned. I don't remember much after that, but my mother told me that I swore up and down that I had died there with my two sisters. Come to find out years later that a year before I was born 3 young girls had died in the river beside that campground, and apparently the oldest girl had tripped, and a piece of metal had gone through her upper thigh, and she ended up drowning. I have 2 birth marks in the exact spots that the girl had he wounds, also to this day I have a huge fear of drowning. (And this comment is very late so I doubt it will ever be seen, but I just wanted to share)

in 2011 my grandmother passed away, she had this toy woodchuck when she was young, and it was given to me, it was battery operated and it made noise when you squished it, one night when i was going to bed, i heard the toy woodchuck from my closet go off which was strange since you needed to squish it from the bottom in order for it to make noise, when i got up from my bed to check it out, i saw nothing and the woodchuck was still in the box i had left it in for so long.
When I was a little girl I used to talk to this ghost named Cleo, and I said there was "a post man in my closet". I also said there were monsters in the walls. I was a real weird kid, haha

I love my cousina and we would share and do almost any thing together. So when she moved into her new home, the night she was first there (may I inform you, there where no walls when she got there for her own room) she was in her bed and woke up, i don't know when, there was man standing in front of her where her wall is know, he was staring at her not moving, she put the blanket over her head and fell asleep. The next morning she when to go ask her mom (my aunty) about the man and she told my cousin she also saw him while she was doing yoga.
The building she was living in and she is living in now, was and I'm not 100% sure but it use to be a type of hospital.
My granny came over to pray for then and everything was okay.
Hey Miss FilGate!!!!:: here's my story. I was 4 years old. And my parents went to go visit a friend of theirs that also had kids. Now from what I remember is, my parents' friends lived north of my home town on an Acreage where there was a Lot of trees. No we were told not to answer the door or open the door at night Under 0 circumstances. Now everything went well until I was asleep. I woke up To sounds of Tapping on the outside Of the house and curiosity Got the better of me like any other cat, And I looked outside the window and what I saw I will never be able to get out of my mind. I saw a human like creature with no eyes just sunkin black holes where the eyes were. This thing had no lips, chalk white skin, and was extremely thin. Wore no clothes. And I guess it was tapping on the house trying to find a way in. I remember how scared seeing that made me. And yes, ok, I was 4. But when your mom is a witch, you kinda experience things and life differently than normals do. Much love you guys. 💘 your show 😽

I was young and I remember playing at a park and I was on a red jungle Jim that was like a cylinder and I remember falling and everything going silent and black and I went completely blank until I was like 7 so today I believe I died and I somehow returned but sometimes i also had a time when I was young when I started having visions and they would always end in my death so I believe every time I died in my visions I would revive and the visions would disappear for a while but re-emerge from my past but they always stay the same

I'm almost 12 and sometimes rarely I wake up in my pillow like that as well and it always end with me screaming, trying to move and eventually, passing out from, well not being able to breath.

Once when I was a kid I was at the dinner table with my parents and my brother, we were talking and my dad said something in portuguese and I perfectly understood what he said. Some years later at school we watched a Pope's speech in Brazil, he was speaking in portuguese and I again understood every word. Never have I taken portuguese lessons or anything like that.
This might not be even real but I remember this VERY vividly. When I was about 3, we were rearranging the furniture in our living room, so in my 3 year old brain, everything was brand new. We were watching TV one day, and my dad was flipping through channels. We didn't get some channels where I live, so instead of showing the video, it would come up as loud static. Well, my dad flipped to a channel, and static came up. For some reason he stayed on that channel for a few seconds. I looked at the static and saw a creepy, monster-like figure in the static, looking right back at me. At this point, neither of my parents were paying attention, probably they were talking about something. The figure got closer, and whispered, "I'm gonna haunt you." A few seconds later, the figure disappeared. The scariest part about this is, I wasn't scared of it, and 12 years later, looking back at it, I realize how much of a disaster that could have been. Yeesh.

Hello I am a minister and caregiver and I have a true story that is very odd indeed. I was a farmer 🚜 in Virginia and was looking at some properties with extra land to raise cattle but this land i was looking at had an old cabin on it for sale with the land. One day I was going there to see if the land was what I needed for cattle and the water supply was good. I was with another person who had to leave and left me there alone to check the property out. So I went into the cabin to see what it was like. I looked around and was going downstairs into the living room and with my first step into the room a man's deep voice said (What are you doing?) In total shock I said ( I'm not doing anything!) and ran out as fast as I could. But just as I opened the door 🚪 there was Graves 10 feet away from the cabin on the lower level dated 1870, 1840, 1890 there where about 20 of them. Needless to say I was found walking home 5 miles away. I said I would never go there again. I've never been back.
So this is was when I'm a ten I woke up really late it was still night and I sometimes hear a lil girl screaming that freaks me out and by that time I heard that girl widespread "help me...its not safe" I woke up and I did not sleep at all but I still hear her till this day...
I still suffer from one of my imaginary friends, I can tell you about her if you like.

my brother and sister used to play on a kids soccer team when I was just a baby but for some reason, I have vivid memories of watching them play soccer and even being on the team with them, but in all of those memories I'm a little girl with dirty blonde hair and not brown hair which is my actual hair color

I had a nightmare that occurred several times but hasmt for a few years now. I would open my eyes and I was in a garage cluttered with boxes like someone had just moved in. It was a HUGE garage like a 10 car garage. It was always night in the dream and the only light was from the moon through the little garage door windows, otherwise, pitch black. So basically it's pitch black between each door and then very little moon light. There was one door at the far end. It would open and this thing i couldn't even describe if I wanted to stepped in the door way with light behind it and stepped in the garage and slammed the door. It would pass through the moonlight as it got closer, ir was emitting a sound that I can only describe as terrifying and deafening. And just before it got me I would awake in terror.
When I was 6 years old I was in my bed like at 1 or 2 AM for some reason and I saw a big shadow coming to my room . The shadow then became bigger and bigger like a guy over 3 meters tall . When it was about to come in my room it vanished and when I saw in the hallway i saw both

I have a memory of a past life. I was in a forest, one where the trees seemed to be spaced evenly apart and it was sunset, because everything looked golden. No brush or bushes on the ground. A horse drawn wagon came up and there were hay bales in the back with people sitting on them. I was wearing pilgrim style clothing and so were they. I climbed up, took a seat, no one said a word, and off we went.
When I was in second grade, I was always scared to go to the main bathroom because I thought I was seeing a ghost, everytime I would go to wash my hands and see a woman with black hair in a bun wearing a blue top, and she would always be looking down at something. I was completely terrified of going there and my teacher would let me use a different bathroom, but it was only when I didn’t want to see her that was the only time I could, my mom told me that I talked about it a lot. (I only saw her in the mirror, she was standing right next to the paper towel dispenser) I was always scared to get a paper towel and I either hesitated or just used my shirt, kids in my class would always ask me to show them but they couldn’t see it, looking at it now they probably thought I was crazy.
from about 1 and 1/2 to 3 years old I would carry on a conversation when nobody was there and the weird party is I actually remember it somewhat. I remember hearing a little boy's voice but I never saw him if I remember right his name was Dark and he told me he had a twin brother named Ben and here is the weirdest part in 7th grade a girl moved to my town and joined our class and we became good friends one day we were on the subject of imaginary friends and she mentions haveing an imaginary friend named Ben who ALSO stayed with her from 1 and 1/2 to 3 years old even though I hadn't told her about Dark yet this really freaked me out a bit and her too when I told her about Dark afterward.
Wait my uncle died in ww1 and he was shot in the throaght, but he was named james my parents told that i had an uncle like that!

Oh my god....I've had an extremely similar dream to the bulkan at 27:19 My heart actually dropped down to my stomach from how similar it was to my experience. A couple years ago, I was starting my first semester at a bible college and was living in the dorms on campus. One night I had a dream where it felt like I was looking right through my eyelids as I was sleeping and could see my desk and window from across my bed. Out of nowhere in my peripheral vision I noticed a hag-like figure standing right next to my bed. She looked like she was decaying and slightly mummified. She just stood there next to me until she lunged forward at me and I woke up screaming. Every time I sleep on my back I make sure to put a sleeping mask on because of that experience lol. But that's crazy that something so similar happened to someone else.

When i was little i would dream a scary looking dog
So..there a was a show that i would watch and in the show the dog was there when it was night time i would lay my room is next to the big room so I'll be scared from that room
And i would always dream the dog in the big room next to my room and when i grow up i forgot it i always hated it that show
Story 1: I grew up in a 100 year old house. I used to have an imaginary friend as a child I would talk to through the walls, he told me his name was Johnathan. Years later my husband bought my childhood home for me, upon investigation of property census records, the first person(s) to live in my house was a man named Johnathan whom had a son also named Johnathan.
Story 2: Over all of my collective 15 years of living in my historic home I've had tons of encounters with the spirits who inhabit it. One of the more prominent stories I have is my 9th birthday party. I had maybe 5 friends over, one of which was a friend of a friend. She had asked where the bathroom was which was upstairs, we were all downstairs. She went up and returned very quickly and said she wanted to go home. She looked so frightened. I asked her what was wrong she didn't answer. I later found out from our mutual friend that she had seen a tall man upstairs by the bathroom door with a top hat and cut on his face. While this is creepy enough it was even creepier to find out years later that this same man would appear at the foot of my mother's bed nightly for years. I still love my house more than anything and will never leave.

So for years I've had the same reoccurring nightmare, I'm 20 years old now, almost 21 and been dealing with this nightmare for as long as I can remember, it goes like this;
I wake up feeling the cold concrete floor below me, I open my eyes and see absolutely nothing, I can feel the cold metal shackles on my wrists as I stand up and I start wandering in one direction feeling for a wall, but no matter how far I walk I can't find a wall, so I start yelling the names of people I know and love as loud as I can, but all I get in return is this horrifying silence, this nightmare feels like it goes on forever, and when I wake up I find myself screaming a different person's name every time

I don’t remember my childhood well, but, I do remember laying on a mattress on the ground. I didn’t have a bed-frame because we were moving, it was night, and in the doorframe, I saw a tall shadow. They had dimmed yellow-ish eyes. They didn’t do nothing, just stood there, looking at me, when I looked a different direction, it disappeared.
Spooky stuff
I have this birth mark on the back of my knee and it constantly burns.
The doctors have never said anything was wrong and I have another birth mark on my neck which also burns.
When i was little i had a imaginary friend called Drop Dead Fred. Once my mum got me two hamsters, i loved them so much and gave them so much attention. Fred started to get jealous and he started to act really weird. When i came home from school one day i saw him by my hamsters in the kitchen, then he disappeared as soon as he realised i saw him. Then the next day both my hamsters died at the same time. I never saw him again until two years ago. I constantly feel his presence where the hamsters cage used to be
When I was younger around 3-5 years old I was sleeping in my parent's room with my dad that night cause I was scared of the dark and my mom was sleeping in me and my sister's room with her. Around midnight - 3 am my parent's door open a little bit so I couldn't see anyone on the other side. A few seconds after the door opened I heard a zombie noise coming from the other side and minutes after they/it slammed the door. The next morning I went to my grandma's house with my baby sister, mom, and dad, I told them about what happened and they said they didn't see nor hear anything, my mom claimed she was up at that time getting a glass of water so what happened still remains a mystery because I haven't heard of the thing again and everything remained normal from that morning on.
A recuring dream I have is me, my little brother, and little sister are being chased by a shadow like man. We finally saw a door with our parents standing in the doorway, we ran to the door but, right before we ran threw the door the door slammed shut. Right before the shadowy man grabbed my little sister and dragged her into the darkness I wake up my cheeks wet with tears.
I love the personal stories
This is past life but when i was about 4 years old I had this dream several times, in this dream there was 3 balls of light trying to teach me to fly. I would concentrate really hard and I was able to. In the dream it was always in the same location. We were on a dirt road and had trees on both side of the road. I never forgot that dream. Interesting thing was when I was about 18 and rode horses at this ranch, there was a path at the far end of the cow pasture. There were trees and on the other side of the trees the land was kind of swamp land, most of Florida is. There was a small creek that we crossed and you had to duck to get under some branches but once on the other side there was a beautiful hidden path. I always felt so at peace there. Then one day i was out there by myself and I realized the place was so familiar to me. It looked just like the place in my dream from when I was younger and trying to learn how to fly.
This might not be as scary as others, but I remember as a kid going to a camp for a week. There was this lake and the dorm mom yelled at me in the morning because I got up and ran out of the dorm. She said I was talking about voices and sat down by the lake. The dorm mom never let me go to sleep without my friend trapping me in blankets. It still leaves me confused.
I had a great Aunt who apparently I never met but one day when I was just a kid, while mum and dad were talking about her I piped up and said how beautiful her long white hair is. I asked when we can visit her again. Mum and dad both looked really spooked and mum insisted that I had never visited my great Aunt. I then proved I had by describing her hospital room exactly and even the position of all the furniture in the room and all of her things. She had passed away in that room just recently and yes, she really did have beautiful long white hair.
I have a similar near-abduction story. I live in a city about an hour west of Toronto. When I was a child I was out walking my dog and fell not too far from my house. A car pulled up beside me with a couple in it, a blonde woman and brown haired man. They asked if I was okay, and offered me a ride home. My knees were bloody, and I was in pain, so I was going to accept, except my dog would NOT get in the car. The backseat was small and she squirmed at the door. I couldn't leave her there, so I tried to coax her into the car. Then suddenly the car door slammed and the car took off. I think my neighbor whose kids I used to play with saw me and started coming out with bandages to help. I was patched up and sent home.
I thought it was weird and although the memory got a little hazy (eg. what they looked like) never forgot about it.
Years later, I am watching a documentary on Paul Bernardo and Karla Holmoka. They're showing evidence pictures and one was their car. The same one I recognize as the car they may have tried to get me in that day.
It wasn't traumatizing at the time, but in hindsight, it makes my stomach jump into my throat.
