I've been looking at some ugly tile edges for years in the main bath. The whole time pondering what to do about it. And I will be using your share to replace that tile very soon with a nice smooth transition and updated tile very inexpensively. I'm feeling unstoppable! Big thanks!!
Nice. You could probably cut a couple vertical keyhole slots and put t bolts and knobs in the fence so you don’t have to reclamp every time. You could even put a couple peel and stick rulers on the side to help with placement.
Or make vertical rails that connect in the back so that you can move the hole fence with one hand and tighten with knobs as you said. This could be made commercially, great idea.
Gonna build this, my client bought a bunch of surface bullnose for a shower I’m doing , I’m gonna tell her to return it and I’m gonna mitre everything!
If i had a damn miter saw i wouldnt need a jig for tile.. i actually rented one of those exact same makita 8.5" deals and believe it or not i put a 4" tile cutting blade on it, made a table from old backer, ran an old windshield washer fluid pump to a 10v dc power plug, ran tube up through where the bag goes, set it all inside the lid of a tote and damn thing cut over 200 tile for me perfect,. Cleaning it off sucked cuz i let it dry but hose while wet and good wet miter...
how's it going to fix it all I'm new here to your community I like forward to hear from you this was a good idea keep up the good work. By4Now God bless. Ken
Is that Ryobi running clockwise or counter clockwise? Normal circular saws are sawing upwards, while most tile saws are sawing downwards. But by the look of the Arrow, on the Ryobi it seem to saw upwards? Asking because I'm thinking of using a normal circular saw with Diamond blade, but I'm a bit afraid of chipping the edge. Any thougts?
Nice. I noticed they do miters all the time in Russian videos. They also lay out large format tiles inline versus 1/3 offset. Do they have better tiles or are the more patient because the labor is cheaper?
Walls are extremely plump and square before tiling when they do bathroom remodeling in Russia, as they fix that first with mud work, which complements inline layout. Other than lipage 1/3 also helps to hide non square perimeter or non plump walls in lightweight construction that are the most houses in the US

great job! thanks for sharing!
Thank you.
Awesome idea, works great... Too bad you need to have cabinet building skills to make it. 😁
Thank you.
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
bravo👍
Very nice master
Thanks my friend !
This is nice, are there any measurements?
No, was built from some leftover material and no plan.
GENIUS
So you can't cut in one pass, huh? Safer to do 2-3 passes to get through? Will it crack or chip if you try to do it in one pass?
Depending on tile. Finish surface very different from tile to tile. This one was very easy to chip.
super idea..
Thank you!

Any thougts?
It works like regular wood saw. Otherwise saw will be jump up all the time .
Also if you notice he cuts away from the edge slightly, about a 1mm ish
By the time you got your set up I would be finished my mitre 😂
Thats fun fork for me.
How?
Dobry patent. To płytka gresowa ?
Nie wiem, jak się nazywa. Bardzo twarde płytki.
What model saw is that, and what kind of blades do you use? Thanks.
Ryobi

@@FixitAll Thank you for the info!!
Nice. I noticed they do miters all the time in Russian videos. They also lay out large format tiles inline versus 1/3 offset. Do they have better tiles or are the more patient because the labor is cheaper?
Of course the labor much cheaper than in US. And all tile came from Europe, most from Italy, there is a high quality.
Fix it All so less cupping and straighter tile?
Yes. I work here mostly with Italian tile too.
Walls are extremely plump and square before tiling when they do bathroom remodeling in Russia, as they fix that first with mud work, which complements inline layout. Other than lipage 1/3 also helps to hide non square perimeter or non plump walls in lightweight construction that are the most houses in the US
BlahBlahMan Yeah square and plumb walls won't do anything if your tiles are cupped
at the 2:05 mark, what is the size of the spacer board that you used?
3/8 - 1/2, Not important, it's just for free blade clearance.
@@FixitAll Thanks
Well that’s one way to do it..🤣
❤️❤️
У вас же есть станок, почему им не режете?
Невозможно, лезвие пилы постоянно уходит в сторону. Пробовал, не раз. И всякий раз не то.
А что за модель ryobi такая?
Посмотри в описании под видео есть ссылки на сайты.
Seriously? I just set my wet saw to 45 degrees.
Its depend on how delicate you need a 45 cut, and depending on tile quality and hardening.
600mm x 600mm tiles?
how?
Where did you saw 600 x600 ?
Look at this wall and floor , this is a tile from what i cut strips th-cam.com/video/wdOxYGWcFSk/w-d-xo.html
круто!
Спасибо!
