I bought this yesterday also from Notino Romania, after seeing your review and I don't regret. The scent is very nice, it smells way more expensive than it is and it's very versatile indeed. But, on me at least, it doesn't last that long. In about 4-5 hours I can barely smell it on my clothes. But given the price, it really is a bargain and I highly recommend buying this. Hey! I'm glad you like it! Regarding the performance, it's not that strong to be in your face the whole time, but more like getting whiffs of it the whole day. Is this description of it's projection more accurate for you or you're not getting anything at all after 4 hours? Try spraying on arms also. Cheers!
ifishares I sprayed double the quantity I usually spray. That’s around 10 sprays, including on my arms. But I think 4-5 hours (after that, it softens down a lot, up to the point I can bearly smell it on my shirt) is fairly decent, really very good considering the price. As I said, i’m very happy with this purchase.
Dear Ifi, thanks for the nice review. I bought me a bottle recently (blindly) just to check this out. Amouage reflecton is my signature scent for years and I cant describe how much I love it. The big drawback is the price! Dirham is nice to, but I have to admit it is'nt as nice as reflection, not even close. The structure is simple but the drydown is warm a bit woody and powdery. For the price maybe it is the best in its own league. I love it for now and it is a nice present to buy for friends and familie. Thanks.

I agree with your words! Everything you say here is true - Dirham is AMAZING scent! It's hard to believe it when you see the price, but this is shockingly good fragrance! On my skin it got many faces - sometimes I fee it as a formal and sophisticated, sometimes I feel it as a fresh and energizing scent, sometimes I feel more woods and vetiver... Great performance and not overwhelming as well. About the compliments - this is compliment getter for sure! At work I was always asked by a female co-worker - "what do you wearing?" And you won't believe me, but she gone crazy and at the end she bought it for herself :) So final words - Ard Al Zaafaran Dirham is true value for money! Great composition, versatile, excellent performance! I wish more fragrances like this one and the most important thing - this is not a copy of any big hit scent, not a typical faceless fragrance at your MALL...Highly recommended!
I have one more from Ard Al Zaafaran and the name is - Dirham Khususi 100ml EDP unisex. It is very different from Dirham. This Khususi goes into Tom Ford Black Orchid territory. I'm not saying it's a clone - NO! But it gives me that kind of more grown up and naughty night out scent. I'm sure you won't find any notes or some useful info about it. I think it got notes like lemon, patchouli, chocolate, jasmine, musk, ylang-ylang, saffron, creamy sandalwood + some smoky vibes... Wonderful !!! If you like those type of seductive scents like Black Orchid - please, try it! Dirham Khususi is another unknown gem!
I can't compare them, because I haven't smell Oud 24 hours, but I see the notes in fragrantica and maybe you're right... Maybe Oud 24 hours and Khususi are looking in one direction...To my nose, in Khususi there is no oud or prominent woody notes and very sweet notes - it's more on the floral/patchouli side.
@@ifishares - now it comes to my mind of what reminds me - Khususi - maybe 80% Straight to Heaven by By Kilian and 20% Tom Ford Black Orchid. Of course, don't take my words literately, but that's how I feel about it- woody, seductive, boozy, with some fruity-tropical notes, with hint of chocolate patchouli...
He says it has no alcohol, says clearly on the bottom of the bottle when he shows it that's it 80% volume, ie alcohol content. Apart from that, great review, he gets all the scent profiles right, and it definitely shares similarities with Reflection and Cool Water, I'm not sure about Creed and Chanel, I don't get either from my bottle, but mine is a newer formulation given this video is old. Just don't buy it thinking it's alcohol free if you're allergic to alcohol on your skin, or it's against your religious beliefs etc. It's 80% alcohol, 20% perfume oil, like most EDP concentrations are (15-25% perfume oil is usually the general rule of thumb.)

So I smelt this a year or so ago and went for its flanker dirham khususi, long lasting citrus floral as well. Ive order this one to compare against it. While looking I found a new release Dirham Oud, another flanker. Has musk, raspberry, woods, amber, rose. Looks interesting!
Arrived today. I had the roll on version previously which was pleasant but nothing special. The edp spray is fantastic. Really surprised how good this stuff is. Much better than I was hoping for. Quality juice for less than £10. Crazy! I'd recommend this stuff to anyone. I rarely get complements about my fragrances but I've had two today when out at the police station and shopping. I wish my Chanel Bleu did that!! Thanks for the recommendation, Ifi.
@Sithum Piushan I wear my fragrances at work. A different one each shift. People at work who are very much aware of my fragrance hobby always comment if one I'm wearing is pleasant or not. Not all get favourable comments. This one did.

I watched many of your reviews, so i bought this. Skin scent after half an hour, don't understand what is so nice at this. Doesn't compare with Rasasi perfumes in all terms: complexity, sillage, longevity. Have to use this although, maybe put 10 sprays on me. A little bit dissapointed.

@Ifishares I got this a week ago after this video to try.. got it for £11 100ml with a fragrance brush pen included.. I like the bottle, and the scent is nice and lasts quite well on my skin.. about 4.5 hours.. but doesn't project that well.. nevertheless it's a nice and easy to just spray lots on.. I wonder if they are all the same strengths?

Just received this. I can't comment on the others this allegedly smells like because i've never owned them but it doesn't smell like Creed G.I.T at all. To be honest the only thing it reminds me of is cheap incense sticks. I'll probably end up throwing it out because since changing job recently, i no longer know anyone i dislike enough to give it to.

Okay I bought this finally... It’s an “okay” scent... smells nice but not too interesting to me... it changes well, Dey down has a woody smell of sandalwood I think, It lasts on my skin, as at typing this it’s been 9 hours and I can smell it on my skin upon I took my bath, yet I can smell it, with 2 sprays, 2 sprays that comes out in small bursts... Well m happy it has good longevity, projection and silage is what I haven’t come to a final conclusion yet... Thanks for the review Iffi! ❤️
Howdy Sir I'd like to once more ask another fragrance aficionado for their opinion. Reviews can be so misleading. I need a fragrance that is STRONG. That lasts LONG. And is SATISFYING to my nose. Rich, full, balanced, sharp - it has to have a punch/bite/kick to it, I despise soft fragrances, at least for me. The categories I tend to like are masculine, citric chypre and aromatic fougere. What's missing are the powerhouse of days gone by, like original polo for example. My best are Zoologist Hyrax for animalic, GG Absolute for masculine.... Bentley intense is good. Even Black Aoud Montale could be stronger if you ask me. (and no, it's not olfactory fatigue) On the way are: daarej, afshan and royale black (all rasasi) and calligraphy rose from Aramis. I have high hopes of rasasi Shuhrah and perhaps rasasi Dahn AL oud. What would be your best recommendation? Maybe a top 3-5 list of frags that fit the above requirements and last 14 hours plus. Thanks a bunch in advance, Mark
Just got mine delivered today. It smells great BUT it is a very feminine scent. I am going to give it to my wife and hopefully she will wear it. It smells wonderful but is obviously a women’s scent. It is very close to Niche quality. It is similar to El Cielo from Armaf in that it is very sweet and soft. I gave El Cielo to my daughter who loves it.
Give it a second chance Bob, as it smells a bit feminine in the opening, like 10 minutes, but then it becomes smoky and more masculine. Overall, it can be unisex, no doubt, so you and your wife can both wear it :)
I will definitely give it another wearing. Mine never got to that Smokey dry down and was a rose bomb from the first spray. Btw, I love your videos. You helped me get back into fragrances a couple months ago. Can’t thank you enough!

I got a 50ml bottle to give this a try. At first I wasn't sure about it but its really growing on me. This one shines when I'm walking around, I think the woody notes can sing a bit more. I'm not sure about performance yet, sprayed on twice what I normally would today and so far so good. Cheers mate!
Well I’ve just bought this for hubby and the pink version for myself . Happy with both the purchases . With the pink one of course being a ladies version . It reminds me of another western perfume . But I just can’t put my finger on it .!! 😬 Anyways great 👍 fragrances .
Alright I finally got a hold of this one. I get faint florals and a boatload of ambrox. Similar vibe to armaf hunter intense. I don't get any similarities to amouage reflection at all. Not a bad cheapie but nothing groundbreaking.

I do a lot of research regarding notes, customer's reviews, similarities to other popular frags and I'm targeting these oriental houses most of the time. I tested it like 15 days ago. I assure you this lasted maximum 30 minutes, then I tried it again and lasted max 30 mins again and then nothing at all. Smell was good.
You made me order this. Its nice, a bit feminine in the opening and it put me off in the beginning, but after about 1 hour it turned into this really nice and for me a unique fragrance. Definitely gonna rock this and for the price (13euros for 100ml) its a bargain. Thanks ifi!

Blind bought this perfume, it's definitely unisex. Very fruity and relaxed, better for the summer. However there are many arabic perfumes like Ejaazi from Lattafa way better than this one. ☺️ Thanks for the review.

It is nice fragrance,i have 20ml bottle that look like mp3 player,projection is ok for about 1 hour then later you must put your nos on skin to feel the scent...To be hones it is not for hot weather it will give you a headache...
The opening might be a bit too sweet for some people, but it softens up pretty quick. I can't guarantee that you get the same performance with those plastic recipients.
You right,this 20ml in plastic container have no projection more then 15 minutes,,,I will get myself the one you have in glass bottle...Also i wanna ask you,those ARMAF fragrances is there any website where i can buy Made in UEA i have Club De Nuit Intense made in France but the projection is not that much strong,it projects about 1-1.5h then later become skin scent and sillage is very weak,,I heard that UAE versions of ARMAF fragrances are projects more and last longer plus the sillage is heavy...
How prominent is the jasmine note? I gotta say I'm not a fan of jasmin. For example Armaf Hunter for women, I can't stand the smell. (that's btw one of the longer lasting Armafs)
Maybe never smelled a really good made Jasmin, try Ashore of Amouage, that is so clean white floral one, the Jasmin is spectaculair and so unisex, makes it very unique, but try sample first ofc.

You are not the only one, as I said in the video, some people on Notino were also getting poor performance. Still, you are getting a couple of hours, not minutes, as those guys were saying. Cheers!

hi there ifi, just received the fragrance today, (first impression ) only sprayed a little on both wrists, and man it's a beast on me, my wife smelt on me as soon as she came into the living room her first word was wow that's strong smell, like you said it's a complex fragrance, for some reason i can smell oud in the opening, and a few hours in I can smell a smokey fragrance like creed aventusy fibe. i am going to have to wear this for a while before I can comment on it anymore, but I don't get reflection man at all, proves that fragrances can smell so different on different types of skin, and I think I am going to like this fragrance 👍
Delivery was fast! Thank you for the reply, man! I'm so glad you're getting great performance with this, as you mentioned performance is an issue on your skin. This fragrance is very complex and mysterious, it smells like many things but not a clone of anything. The oud you smell in the begining might be because of the rose note, which oftenly comes along with oud and also that smoky vibe, which I'm also getting, now that you have mentioned it. Overall, I'm glad you like it, my man! :) and yes, fragrances are perceived differently and similar at the same time.
Dirham wasnt my favourite at first because it's the least accurate clone out of all the cloned fragrances I had, so it's a bit of a unique scent in it's own right. Dirham grew on me, and is currently my favourite, and i'd say its similar to amouage reflection. There's also similarities to PB 1 million, which was the first impressions of other people I showed it to, maybe 60% close to 1 million, but a much more mature smoother version and less playful.

I would go and say it's a safe blind buy for this price and because it doesn't have any harsh note, but I usually recommend trying any fragrance before buying. Cheers!
Isn’t drydown refers to the heart (immediately after the top notes) of the fragrance? Perhaps you mean at the base of the fragrance you get something like GIT

I watched many of your reviews, so i bought this. Skin scent after half an hour, don't understand what is so nice at this. Doesn't compare with Rasasi perfumes in all terms: complexity, sillage, longevity. Have to use this although, maybe put 10 sprays on me. A little bit dissapointed.
Rasasi perfumes is 3,4,5times or more money! Wake up!

@Ifishares I got this a week ago after this video to try.. got it for £11 100ml with a fragrance brush pen included.. I like the bottle, and the scent is nice and lasts quite well on my skin.. about 4.5 hours.. but doesn't project that well.. nevertheless it's a nice and easy to just spray lots on.. I wonder if they are all the same strengths?

Just received this. I can't comment on the others this allegedly smells like because i've never owned them but it doesn't smell like Creed G.I.T at all. To be honest the only thing it reminds me of is cheap incense sticks. I'll probably end up throwing it out because since changing job recently, i no longer know anyone i dislike enough to give it to.

Okay I bought this finally...
It’s an “okay” scent... smells nice but not too interesting to me... it changes well, Dey down has a woody smell of sandalwood I think, It lasts on my skin, as at typing this it’s been 9 hours and I can smell it on my skin upon I took my bath, yet I can smell it, with 2 sprays, 2 sprays that comes out in small bursts...
Well m happy it has good longevity, projection and silage is what I haven’t come to a final conclusion yet... Thanks for the review Iffi! ❤️

Howdy Sir I'd like to once more ask another fragrance aficionado for their opinion.
Reviews can be so misleading.
I need a fragrance that is STRONG. That lasts LONG. And is SATISFYING to my nose. Rich, full, balanced, sharp - it has to have a punch/bite/kick to it, I despise soft fragrances, at least for me.
The categories I tend to like are masculine, citric chypre and aromatic fougere. What's missing are the powerhouse of days gone by, like original polo for example.
My best are Zoologist Hyrax for animalic, GG Absolute for masculine....
Bentley intense is good.
Even Black Aoud Montale could be stronger if you ask me. (and no, it's not olfactory fatigue)
On the way are: daarej, afshan and royale black (all rasasi) and calligraphy rose from Aramis.
I have high hopes of rasasi Shuhrah and perhaps rasasi Dahn AL oud.
What would be your best recommendation? Maybe a top 3-5 list of frags that fit the above requirements and last 14 hours plus.

Just got mine delivered today. It smells great BUT it is a very feminine scent. I am going to give it to my wife and hopefully she will wear it. It smells wonderful but is obviously a women’s scent. It is very close to Niche quality. It is similar to El Cielo from Armaf in that it is very sweet and soft. I gave El Cielo to my daughter who loves it.
Give it a second chance Bob, as it smells a bit feminine in the opening, like 10 minutes, but then it becomes smoky and more masculine. Overall, it can be unisex, no doubt, so you and your wife can both wear it :)
I will definitely give it another wearing. Mine never got to that Smokey dry down and was a rose bomb from the first spray. Btw, I love your videos. You helped me get back into fragrances a couple months ago. Can’t thank you enough!
ifishares, I will definitely give it another wearing but on my skin it was a rose bomb with no citrus in the opening or woods in the dry down. I will give it another shot though. I love your videos, keep up the good work!

I got a 50ml bottle to give this a try. At first I wasn't sure about it but its really growing on me. This one shines when I'm walking around, I think the woody notes can sing a bit more. I'm not sure about performance yet, sprayed on twice what I normally would today and so far so good. Cheers mate!

Alright I finally got a hold of this one. I get faint florals and a boatload of ambrox. Similar vibe to armaf hunter intense. I don't get any similarities to amouage reflection at all. Not a bad cheapie but nothing groundbreaking.

One word to describe Dirham: WOW!
Oriental houses offer amazing scents for so less money. Not only clones, but original scents like this one. Niche like at just a fraction of the price of a niche fragrance.

How I find these fragrances, well... I do a lot of research regarding notes, customer's reviews, similarities to other popular frags and I'm targeting these oriental houses most of the time. Also, I never pass by a fragrance store without trying a couple of fragrances :).

I tested it like 15 days ago. I assure you this lasted maximum 30 minutes, then I tried it again and lasted max 30 mins again and then nothing at all. Smell was good.

You made me order this. Its nice, a bit feminine in the opening and it put me off in the beginning, but after about 1 hour it turned into this really nice and for me a unique fragrance. Definitely gonna rock this and for the price (13euros for 100ml) its a bargain. Thanks ifi!

Blind bought this perfume, it's definitely unisex. Very fruity and relaxed, better for the summer. However there are many arabic perfumes like Ejaazi from Lattafa way better than this one. ☺️ Thanks for the review.

It is nice fragrance,i have 20ml bottle that look like mp3 player,projection is ok for about 1 hour then later you must put your nos on skin to feel the scent...To be hones it is not for hot weather it will give you a headache...
The opening might be a bit too sweet for some people, but it softens up pretty quick. I can't guarantee that you get the same performance with those plastic recipients.
You right,this 20ml in plastic container have no projection more then 15 minutes,,,I will get myself the one you have in glass bottle...Also i wanna ask you,those ARMAF fragrances is there any website where i can buy Made in UEA i have Club De Nuit Intense made in France but the projection is not that much strong,it projects about 1-1.5h then later become skin scent and sillage is very weak,,I heard that UAE versions of ARMAF fragrances are projects more and last longer plus the sillage is heavy...

How prominent is the jasmine note? I gotta say I'm not a fan of jasmin. For example Armaf Hunter for women, I can't stand the smell. (that's btw one of the longer lasting Armafs)
Maybe never smelled a really good made Jasmin, try Ashore of Amouage, that is so clean white floral one, the Jasmin is spectaculair and so unisex, makes it very unique, but try sample first ofc.

i have a 50ml bottle for 6 months now. nice fragrance but I've had a performance issues with it, so i only use it at home as it stays only for a couple of hours!
You are not the only one, as I said in the video, some people on Notino were also getting poor performance. Still, you are getting a couple of hours, not minutes, as those guys were saying.

hi there ifi, just received the fragrance today, (first impression ) only sprayed a little on both wrists, and man it's a beast on me, my wife smelt on me as soon as she came into the living room her first word was wow that's strong smell, like you said it's a complex fragrance, for some reason i can smell oud in the opening, and a few hours in I can smell a smokey fragrance like creed aventusy fibe. i am going to have to wear this for a while before I can comment on it anymore, but I don't get reflection man at all, proves that fragrances can smell so different on different types of skin, and I think I am going to like this fragrance 👍

This fragrance is very complex and mysterious, it smells like many things but not a clone of anything. The oud you smell in the begining might be because of the rose note, which oftenly comes along with oud and also that smoky vibe, which I'm also getting, now that you have mentioned it. Overall, I'm glad you like it, my man! :) and yes, fragrances are perceived differently and similar at the same time.

Dirham wasnt my favourite at first because it's the least accurate clone out of all the cloned fragrances I had, so it's a bit of a unique scent in it's own right. Dirham grew on me, and is currently my favourite, and i'd say its similar to amouage reflection. There's also similarities to PB 1 million, which was the first impressions of other people I showed it to, maybe 60% close to 1 million, but a much more mature smoother version and less playful.

I would go and say it's a safe blind buy for this price and because it doesn't have any harsh note, but I usually recommend trying any fragrance before buying.

Isn’t drydown refers to the heart (immediately after the top notes) of the fragrance? Perhaps you mean at the base of the fragrance you get something like GIT
