The video is short, but enough proof to showcase Renjun and Chenle's progress in korean. Appreciate these beans, _duolingo and google translate could never._
Duolingo and google translate suck,, protip, if you want to translate things between english and korean, papago is better(it does pretty good japanese and Chinese from what I know too)
chenle is like some superhero or some shxt, he literally trained for what 4 months and somehow his korean speaking skills are better than my english speaking skills... and english is my first language 💀💀
Literally me with English 💀 I bring out the African/french accent like "English is not my first language, please don't mind me" but be correcting as soon as I see mistakes 😂
instead of this inside jokes, can we appreciate how the china line actually being professional in korean eventhough they're training late? idk how long renjun have trained but for renjun, he already in surrounding who speak korean so it's advantage for him, but for chenle who get into industry after few months training and can understand korean a bit when he was debuted. conclusion, china line in nct dream did a great job in learning korean !
Renjun trained for a year but he have been speaking korean since he was young since he lived somewhere near the korean border but still, its impressive that his korean is perfect. As for chenle, im honestly impressed by him. He needs a translator during debut bcs of his lack of korean skills but he improved drastically after a year and he keeps improving. He's so fluent now. I think he really is smart when it comes to language.

I'm so impressed with Chenle ! When you watch their videos from 2016 and he just arrived in Korea you can see he barely understood anything, but still did his best to participate, and now his korean is so good that he can correct korean members !
This is exactly what happens when you learn other languages, you use to learn every rule, different from those who are native speakers that learn those rules just if they are interest in, cause they learn to speak and to write while growing up, repeating what others say, for example, i probably don't know any rule from my language, but i know how to properly write and speak, it is just like that, different from English that i probably know most of the language rules cause it's a language i learnt by studying really hard..
I know right!! I, a person who has been learning german, can explain to my friend who's fluent in german (Her parents are german) what wer're doing during our lessons and give examples and she can have no idea what I'm talking about :P

can we appreciate that jisung helped chenle learn korean to a point where chenle went from barely being able to speak to being fluent and correcting people in the span of 3-4 years
After watching Jisung use the wrong personal pronoun so many times while speaking, I feel happy knowing that even teens who speak other languages experience the same grammatical problems. My mother and brother are always correcting me, so, I feel you Jisung

I imagine chenle in a sort of superhero training montage then, *BOOM* 😂😂
