Thank you Mo, you inspired me. I'm 31 now and it's not too late to switch to being a data analyst and perform better since I already have advance Excel knowledge and will dive into learning SQL & Python. I will follow your roadmap and hopefully land a good paying job after all the time and I effort I shall render. Will keep you updated and hopefully share my success story to you too. Day 1, Nov. 10, 2023 starts now. I shall start with Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate. Wish me best of luck!
Thank you so so much for answering my question!!! I will remember your tips, I'm starting in two weeks and I'm so excited for this new chapter in my life after changing careers from being a waitress :) thank you for your content!
The vibe of this video really hit the spot! I’m new to the industry with no degree. I’m currently studying full time and almost done with the google data analytics certificate for some foundation. Next I’m planning to dive further into excel and tableau! I know I have a lot of work and doubts ahead of me but content like this keeps the dream alive. Thanks Mo! Flow state for the win!
Keep on going! Like I said in the video, it's the hard work day in day out that got me to where I am right now. It certainly didn't happen overnight! Good luck 😁
Hello Mo. You have such a nice vibe and your wife helping with the filming is so cute. Wish you lots of success. I am a junior Data Scientist, but I enjoy your videos and I learn a lot from it.
Thanks Mo for the amazing content. I am switching from Sales to Data Analyst. Currently I am going over my calculus and statistics notes ( I have a bachelor in Industrial Engineering ), then I will try to perfection my skills in Excel, learn SQL, then slowly get into Python and Tableau. This is my road map. I'll check in a year from now and share my progress :D
Congratulations on the 50k subs! I've become very curious about becoming a data analyst and your channel has helped me! The videography of this video was amazing! Kudos!
Hey Mo, this video is really inspirational one. I learnt a lot. Thanks for such a wonderful content. Please do keep posting many more portfolio projects as your previous projects were really helpful.🎉
woah, just like one of those Vogue interviews! great video, beautiful home, and thanks for the help. I've started interviewing for data analyst positions and your channel has helped alot.
You explained everything very well Mo and i loved your home so much . I just got internship somedays ago and i hope I'll become a good data analyst just like u .
brilliant stuff mate! i reckon some of these questions would even help me during interviews for eg: what do you think the future of data analyst is? so thanks a lot. you're my number 1 source of DA content on social media. keep up the great work 👊
Congratulations, Mo, for reaching this amazing milestone! I hope you get more subscribers because what you are doing now is helpful and informative. More powers to you, and kudos! 💙
Awesome video! At some point in the video you mentioned that your wife is a Power BI developer and I was wondering if you could make a video detailing the specifics of how to land a role like that? Ie: how much DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service, DAX Studio, Vertipaq, etc you need to know.
Perfect content Mo! I will have one additional question as I going through my current portfolio. Where, we as a junior DA could look up on experienced, senior DA portfolio??? I polishing my current projects but still question myself if its good enough ... thanks a lot
Macbook Air (M1 is enough) or any Windows PC with at least intel i5, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. For a pro set up, a MacBook Pro 16 inch would be really good, or the Dell XPS laptops.
Hey mo I’ve been watching you for a while am 16 and am really interested in data analysis do u think it’s too late for me to start now and what are some tips you could give me
Definitely not!!! You're so young 😃 Go through this playlist if you have the time th-cam.com/play/PLodYDTuHA29amu5iUH-8PLGbSiEphe585.html&si=c8EZ5XTFhmFKovWY
Congrats Mo! I wish that Data Analyst positions would be as good or nearly as well paid in Eastern Europe. The workload is similar, but the salaries are not as good as in the US or Western Europe. I think that for a younger individual that lives in the East side of Europe, it's better to move. The cost of living is different here, that is true, but in an entry position that in the UK would be paid $50k per year, here it would be somewhere around $30k.
Hi Mo! I watched your advanced SQL function videos, visited your landing page, and bought the advanced sql server masterclass on Udemy. I was wondering, because I noticed there are some differences, I had some questions: 1. How difference Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio's and PostgreSQL's sql queries are? 2. Do you recommend me, in my learning phase, use these two platform interchangeably?
They're not super different. SQL is SQL at the end of the day, there will be minor differences between mysql vs postgresql vs microsoft sql server. If you know one, you'll be able to query in the others ones as well 😁
Hi mo chen thank for summary all question that very benefit . So one question to asking how different between data analyst and BI developer and career path is look same way ? anyway i feel like both role has some point that similar thing (My current role is BI dev )
BI Dev is more specific. Data analyst roles vary widely in terms of skills and responsibilities. I'd always just compare specific job specs to other specific job specs. Thanks a lot for watching!
Wow, már egy ideje szemezgetek a data analyst szakmával és nézem a videóidat, de ez most meglepett :))))

What's the best affordable hardware (laptop/PC) for newbies, AND ideal set up for professionals???
Macbook Air (M1 is enough) or any Windows PC with at least intel i5, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. For a pro set up, a MacBook Pro 16 inch would be really good, or the Dell XPS laptops.
