10:25 This the best part of the Addams family to me. The fact they know they are different, but unlike the "normal" world, they don't judge outsiders, even when it's obvious that they are being judged themselves. They are completely honest, and not trying to be weird or scary for the sake of it. They are just being themselves. (except for maybe Wenesday but, as mentioned, her antics are actually pretty typical for a girl her age.)
You've never seen the garter toss??? It's the equivalent of the bouquet toss for men. I've also seen the bride hand the bouquet to a woman in the crowd and her boyfriend immediately got down on one knee and proposed (of course he arranged this with the bride beforehhand).
Ugh, the bouquet toss... I never ever wanted to go up there, and yes around 14 they started shoving me up there. I can safely say I was a young feminist lol. As I moved into my 20s I would reluctantly go up. As I hit my 30s, I would avoid going up... and my married aunts would not leave me alone until I got up there... Being silly and yelling "get up there". They didn't realize it, but it got to be embarrassing for me... being the only single person up there year after year and having a whole new generation up there with me. I just say no now. Being a part of a Hispanic family, saying no to your elders is disrespectful. But, I'm a single parent so I just say something like "I'm a Mom now, sorry but not doing that" or I suddenly have to use the restroom lol It's my attempt to try to be respectful but still keep my boundaries. Sigh. Family dynamics are tough. Unless you're an Addams haha🖤

The great thing about these movies is that the Addams’s are just the queers and are authentically themselves, it’s everyone who are the villains.
As to the ideals of the summer camp staff, right from the start they stress the "it's for /privileged/ kids" ...

My favorite Renfield was Tom Waits in the otherwise disappointing (other than Gary Oldman) "Bram Stoker's Dracula."
love Tom Waits!
Love the Gomez energy ❤
a classic movie from 1993
The tiny moustache is very distracting but I love it.
😆
Peter MacNicol and David Krumholtz ended up working together again in the TV series, "NUMB3RS."
Oooh that sounds like a good time!
@@twofriendsreact It was a cop show where they were mathematicians who worked with the FBI to solve cases. It also had Judd Hirsch.
