- "Captain America Goes After Logan at His Home"
Comic Book: All-New Wolverine (2016) #1
Writer: Tom Taylor
A tense standoff unfolds outside Laura Kinney’s home as Captain America confronts Logan, accused of a violent future by Ulysses. Gabby’s innocent charm momentarily eases the tension, but Maria Hill’s orders to detain Logan escalate the situation. Logan agrees to leave, but mistrust and defiance from Laura keep the tension crackling.

I love Laura Kinny.
The thing was, NOBODY in the intelligence arena, Not even Cap himself realized they could trigger the violence by acting on Ulysses' prophecy.
Had they left things alone, it wouldn't have happened.
"Historically" a lot of prophecy works that way, you witness the effect without the context of all the contributing causes.
Effect follows cause for a reason, when you get effect first, you try to manipulate cause to have effect happen or not, and lacking context you most often get it wrong.
If there has ever been any real lesson regarding prophesy, it's that the very best thing you can do is IGNORE them, and just let the universe happen.
to be fair thats hydra cap and he was pushing them to do shit like this
Captain America is 6'2 and wolverine is 5 something they had them almost eye to eye 😅
Cap is just leaning forward. And Logan is wearing his special boots with the extra thick heels 😂
Logan is 5'3"
Someone found him a box
Captain fascist and Moron Hill..
So right he sure shamed them colors.
What if Captain America was Never Frozen and Wolverine was in the First Avenger Star Wars x Marvel.
Which Logan is this?
Old man Logan
Just VS the Wolverine everybody will die old or not, Logan and Laura VS...capt may be a successful government experiment in enhanced human abilities but he's not in the same ballpark VS Logan or Laura, gonna need a few Hulks.
I think Steve Rogers is as strong as Logan or maybe even stronger - but he has no ridiculously unbreakable Bones like Logan because no Adamantium. Plus no healing factor. So he would most likely be at a serious Disadvantage in a fight because Wolverine has always Blades when he wants to.
@@AszkalonOfVerra he does have a mild healing factor but its on par with spideys in that it takes a week or so to repair him
I really hated this series....almost as much as the first Civil War. Both mistakes, in my honest opinion.
For those wondering what happens:
Does old man Logan kill Gabby? Yes. Does she say permanently dead? No. Because he actually helped her trigger her dna to have a healing factor when she and her other clones didn't have healing factors. Also said inhuman does not see the future. He gets nightmares of people committing crimes and Captain Marvel decides to make a group to retain people before it happens. It all ends when the inhumans take him away to help him. Personally, I believe they should of just killed the guy and be done with it .... instead of assuming he can be of great help. But that's my thoughts on it. The series is called Civil War II.
I salute you! You're more a hero than Cap! 😂
The First Civil War comic run is arguably the best story, given it isn't about heroes against villains but instead about what is actually right and wrong. Now, if you'd have said Civil War II was a mistake, I'd have agreed with you. Up until read the line 'If you are on Captain America's side.... you can rest easy knowing you are on the right side.'
@TalonOfTheSea No offense, but Civil War I was stupid. They make a great stand of stuff to basically null and void the story like it didn't exist by having everyone forget Spider-Man secret identity by making a deal with the devil in exchange for Parker and M.J.'s marriage. There was no right or wrong side. Everyone lost. Both wars there is no winner. Just losers. Which is why I dislike them both.
Which could translate as possible futures or futures of alternate versions of Earth. Anyway relying strictly on visions of A possible future since we all knkw how bad things can AND WILL go
Was this before or after Tom Cruise's Minority report movie?
