    okay so the run down/summary of the slazo thing: basically someone named Chey accused ex partner Slazo of being creepy/gross towards them when they were a minor and that they didnt want the advances. Slazo made a video refuting the allegations and proving them wrong. Later it came out that ImAlex either convinced Chey to post the allegations (im not exactly sure what happened). If you want a video about it i reccomend The Right Opinion's video about it, i think its really good.

      The awful result of this whole thing is that Slazo’s TH-cam career (which was going really great, he had really funny commentary, like genuinely good videos imo) was completely derailed by the whole drama. You can watch the videos he recorded about the drama and you can tell that he’s just so discouraged by it. Even when the truth came out, he never really bounced back, and you can tell he was never quite comfortable posting again. He hasn’t posted in a couple of years. It’s such a shame because like I said, he has actually entertaining videos. Go watch his old videos from three-four years ago to support him! I hope this whole imallex thing makes even more people support him and maybe one day he’ll feel comfortable to come back

      wait we should clarify here, werent slazo and chey both minors at the time? if what he did is true that does NOT make it any better but as far as im aware slazo wasnt exhibiting p**ophelic behavior it was just gross

    • @mandapanties
      @mandapanties 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      btw Slazo was only 16 and Chey was 14. so them constantly referring to her as a minor is irrelevant as it is a totally normal age gap and both were minors. I agree with the The Right Opinion recommendation if you want the FULL story

    • @Ellie_Bond
      @Ellie_Bond 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

      Sadly, in this country and many others, it doesn’t happen until actual damage is done and even then, the victims usually have to fight tooth and nail for it.
      Ultimately, we are mere women. We shouldn’t be in this mindset, but why do we expect victims to be taken seriously anymore… especially when decades of statistics show that we are rarely believed despite physical evidence, and subsequently, the perpetrators are rarely held accountable.
      Every day more stories are shared, and everyday I lose another ounce of faith in humanity. I fear there’s none left.
      Edit: People may not agree with this, but I personally believe his friends should hold themselves accountable for at least not calling him out and just letting him carry on life. I know he was reported to his agency and we obviously don’t know everything behind the scenes… but after hearing ‘I didn’t even know they’d broken up’… like why weren’t you making sure she was okay even though you weren’t friends with HIM? Especially if you already knew his behaviour was questionable enough to stop being his friend? I don’t know, something about it just doesn’t sit right with me. Ultimately as a society we won’t progress until ‘good men’ call out the bad men and hold them accountable. Only when that happens, will it spread.

    My ex was very narcissistic. He would cheat and blame me for looking at his accounts. He would go from 0 to 100 and punch me in my back and scream at me. Then he would cry just like Alex and beg for forgiveness. He would tell me how sorry he was and how he just got so angry, and he doesn't know why he's like this, and he'll do better. Then I would comfort him and say I was sorry. He never did better. It only got worse until I was strong enough to leave. They never do better. This story has been triggering to follow, but I appreciate you covering it, and he absolutely needs to be blasted for what he's done. Oposite action. Theres some good personal accounts of helpful tools on tiktok. It's basically emotion regulation and communication tools. If you're really worried a crisis plan can be an option. All of it hinges on your ability to be honest with yourself and finding a good therapist is a must. But there are different types of BPD - petulant, impulsive, discouraged, self destructive. The way Al*x acts reminds me a lot of my brother. My brother has bipolar disorder and used to threaten violence, yell, and degrade me and my family in the same way Al*x did. My brother always gets this soulless, black look in his eyes when he gets violent like that- it's as if he's switched into a different person, and I saw this exact phenomenon in the clips of Al*x verbally abusing Alice. Seeing those clips of Al*x being violent genuinely made me feel sick, as if reliving my trauma. He also looks similar to my brother too which doesn't help... Same mustache/stubble look, blue eyes, skinny and weak looking. I have no doubt that Al*x was still very physically powerful despite his small stature, just like my brother is. He is not to be taken lightly. Pure unbridled anger and borderline insanity makes even the weakest looking people unbelievably strong and forceful. I don't doubt that Al*x would've been able to go through with those physical threats he said to both Alice and Jess, and that they weren't just threats- he MEANT what he said. Just like my brother. My brother is mostly okay now after being diagnosed and going on antipsychotics (huge improvement) but I'm still terrified to be around him at times and have gut reactions to flinch and hide. Not going to diagnose this excuse of a man but from personal experience it's pretty obvious to me that has some form of mental disorder that's making it easier for him to fall into these violent behaviours- whether it be bipolar, bpd, npd or something else I don't know. Mental disorders like these don't automatically make you a shitty person but makes it much easier to fall into violent, maladaptive and antisocial behaviours in my opinion. I hope Alice, Jess and any other victims are able to heal from this and have the signs they need to know who to avoid and look out for.

Also, if someone threatens to hurt themselves if you leave them, that's sometimes "code" for "Actually I'm going to hurt YOU if you leave me, but i'll also hurt you if you stay." All love to the ones coming out about this. I had a 3 year relationship that was full of abusive behavior, isolating me from everyone while I was dealing with reconciling with my csa after blocking it out for years, sexual coercion despite knowing my trauma, constant arguments where I was made to feel insane for having feelings, and so much neglect. Hearing the ImAlex situation is so reminiscent of that relationship and it’s honestly so hard to hear the things he’s saying and the love bombing after the breakup is so disgustingly similar to my situation. I don’t really have places to talk about this so I figure this is a good video to get my story out, writing this mostly for my peace of mind because this situation has been so awful and reminds me of something awful I went through. These girls deserve the space and time to heal and while this coming out is amazing, I hope they still find some of the privacy they deserve.

    What I find odd about myself is I have a pretty intense childhood abuse/trauma background and had a weird things feel off with him more than a year ago but when it is someone I am dealing with directly I miss those very subtle hints that say run. I hope everyone that felt something was just off tries to apply that to their own lives which is something I am trying to do even though I can’t fully pinpoint those things that set off my red flag alarm. Please, please, please remember there is no perfect victim. I made bad choices with a spouse because of my early training and the cptsd reared its ugly head which led me down the road of addiction. I am doing better now with substances(nightmares tend my urges)but trauma also affects health so I am dealing with chronic health conditions now as well. I will NEVER forgive myself for the trauma I caused my kids by continuing the cycles of trauma. Not just my drinking but the behavior I cycled in from my childhood which was taking responsibility for the bad behavior of abusers and teaching them to walk on eggshells. If someone abused then cycles behavior from the relationship back into new relationships with friends/significant others know it takes intense therapy to undo even if it happens in just one relationship as an adult. Sometimes we just don’t even know we were abused since we get acclimated to it. It took a drinking problem for me to figure out the childhood abuse and I still didn’t get that my spouse was repeating it after treatment for the alcohol problem.

      As someone that survived domestic violence I care. To the people that keep making it about slazo ,which victims do not have to be perfect. If that was the case then numerous amounts of serial killers would go free because they decided to kill transient people or prostitutes. Maybe even prostitutes with drug addictions. The credibility of a victim doesn’t matter. When you are more High risk. Meaning susceptible to manipulation. Which most people are especially women because we are conditioned to empathize with men. As if we are their mothers.
      Anyone can be susceptible to manipulation there are even women who were not high risk that were upper class and had degrees and still were manipulated ,abused and then murder. That’s why we need to hold these people accountable. And me as a survivor I will.

My ex said extremely gross things but I joked along with him because I didn't want to get in *trouble* for questioning him/not finding the things he said funny or agreeing with them, nor did I want to lose his approval. Slazo was an Australian commentary TH-camr who was pretty popular in 2018/2019 (I can't remember exactly). Pretty much another creator named Chey kinda expressed to a group of people that he was a bad boyfriend/creepy and would force her to do things when she was a minor (She was 14, Slazo was 16). I'm not sure what happened exactly but somehow Alex convinced Chey to come out with allegations that Slazo sa'd her, which were backed very heavily by Ani as she was a close friend of Chey. Slazo then made a video pretty much disproving all the sa/creepy/forcing her to do things and even apologised for being a bad boyfriend. However, majority of the people in the group, including Ani especially still doubled down with the allegations even after the video disproving them and essentially destroyed Slazo's career on TH-cam. Slazo has never been issued a formal apology by anyone including Ani (as far as I know) which is why i think people are upset because she had a big hand in ruining his career.
    It wasn't until some time after that it came out Alex had been a heavy manipulator on the situation and just wanted to see Slazo's career ruined, in an interview with another creator called BluesDank he mentions that for a while no one in the UK group was speaking with Alex except for Memeulous, but somehow Alex was able to still have a career (crazy).
    My memory is kinda fuzzy on the situation so pls correct me if I'm wrong
