In my case, I think an app or a background process is causing this issue. Whenever I factory reset (with wipe cache partition) my S20 Ultra, the screen goes back to normal. But after it connects to the internet and starts updating the software, that's when the issue comes back.
The phone is pretty much useless at this point. Though I was able to get the screen operating back normally again, I couldn't dare try connecting the device to the internet until we pinpoint the app/process causing the issue.
Suddenly a pink line appears on my samsung s20plus after a software update. DO you have any idea about how to fix this?
All samsung premium phones have update after 1 year then the problem is happened.samsung not like to consumer using their phone more than one year...

@@YDara7 It doesn't matter bro... you need to change the display in order to use it properly. I went to samsung service center when I got the problem and they told me to change the display.
mine it turn white for 30minutes until i plugin charge it ok so well..i want go to samsungshit centre later

I'm the middle of writing e text or watching a video and my screen looks like somebody does a screen shot and video stops or minimize ( watupcall) and if you are watching on landscape mode YT video stop and screen turn portrait mode.
It is so nerve wrecking and make me mad how an expensive phone can do this. I never had this issue with any Samsung phone ever. I noticed that always happened 2 weeks before is a new update. Then is the update after 2 days the problem stops probably for a week and then start happening again.
Is this issue maybe a factory ot software problem that is happening to so many people 🤔?!?! I don't know 😕 I don't wat to FACTORY RESET MY PHONE and erase everything if it is a software issue and will not be fixed 🤔 and I would have a empty device with same problem.

this screen issue happened to me since last year and then it went away (glad i didnt make the screen replacement as suggested by Samsung authorized repair centre ), recently the issue came back, but man i dont really wanna change to s22 as everything else still works so fine except the screen (granted once it happens the phone become UNUSEABLE lol) huge shame

@@sudeepreddy491 No it is still an issue I think it's a software issue as my lcd panel is not damaged and it only happens while watching videos on youtube, amazon prime or media player....hope they fix it soon
