absolutely the best video I have seen so far to explain in detail the Audrill UI. Just purchased this lite as well as two Fireflies E 07s. Thanks for an excellent tutorial. Subscribed. Oh yes I certainly am a Flaskoholic
I got this in the mail yesterday and couldn't be more impressed! I've been a member on CPF for over 15 years, and was in on the original group buy for the Fenix L1P. And I can't believe how far we've come! The Anduril UI is the best I have ever seen, and once memorized it is very easy to use. The only thing I would change about it, is the order of the strobes. I would have tactical strobe as the first option on the "click click hold", just in case you needed a strobe quickly. The fact that I got this light for $50 with batteries included and a free holster is incredible! If there is a better value on the market I have never seen it. A+ work for Sofirn!
Joined the SP36 Anduril owners club. It can certainly outshine an FW3A but a C8F will give it a run for its money. I would have preferred a 4000k version from Sofirn's wesite, but after a Q8 I ordered failed to make it from China I bought my SP36 from Amazon. I don't do any super long walks at night but it's nice to know that this would be up to the task. The surface area limits the sustainable lumens a bit. I like that the batteries get barely depleted and can be topped up via USB so you start with a full charge. But it will always be overkill when an OTR M3 Pro (16340) has enough runtime and lumens for most purposes.
Very nice video. The light has a good combination between flood and throw. And i like the natural tint. It has the same tint as the Nichia 219C 5000K led. And that's beautiful. Btw, very nice cat in the video.😊
I have this very light arriving Monday. Excellent job showing the flashlight! The Andúril UI is so easy now. I have a couple with it as well. Which batteries did you go with. I have some Samsung 30Qs on standby.
F*cking hell mate!! Never ever has a review (!!) scare me like that at 10:28. GODdamnit. But I have to say, fantastic review!! Can't wait till I get it.
What are the 3 other Sofirn lights you own? I'm thinking of buying one of these. Currently own a SC31Pro and it's a damn nice edc, been in my pocket since it arrived.
It arrived and I've spent the last month or more putting it through it's paces... Great light!... absolutely love this thing.. very well worth it! The build is awesome as soon as you pick it up you know you're going to love it
which of these lanterns has the largest and best reach area to be lit: Convoy m21c-u xhp70.2, convoy m21c kw, convoy L21 A sst40, astrolux Ft 03 xhp50.2, Convoy M3-C, Astrolux C8 Xhp50.2, mateminco TK04 sst40, Astrolux FT02S, Sofirn SP36PRO or Sofirn IF25A?
Really Great Review (BEST), but will it start a fire ? Not quite 6000 Lumens. What are the smallest flashlights that will ? I need one for camping. Thanks
Just got it on Monocashback and I'm feeling like a savvy shopper. Got it for only $20 with a 50% discount. Retail therapy doesn't have to break the bank!
I caved today. Ordered one from BangGood even though I already have the SP36 NarsilM model. I forget, do these batteries need to be unprotected? Which 18650s are best for this Anduril light? Anyone know for sure?
Late to the game, but when given a choice, I would'nt bother with protected cells personally. Current draw won't be extreme here, but I've a Fenix 18650 that will trip @ around 5-6 amps. Now, I've heard these puppies work with a miriad of different makes here, but if you're shopping, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and the like do fairly high drain ones for not a lot of money, then just let the pcb in the light take care of low voltage cutoff. I'm using Keeppower ones recently, high capacity, high drain and don't cost and arm and a leg.
I got three batteries included. And, with the batteries in place in the torch, put it on charge via the USBc cable. The light around the button is green, which would indicate fully charged right?, However when I detach the charging cable the green light disappears and the torch won't switch on (as if it has no power, despite appearing fully charged). I'm confused and any advice would be much appreciated. I feel I may have to return it, which I don't want to do. Anyone help.....
I had both, I gave the NarsilM version to my brother as my Anduril version arrived. Both are good lights, but I hated the NarsilM version's purplish tint (at least mine has a weird hue), while the Samsung LEDs have a warmer tint with higher CRI. Better to have both, they're awesome - just as FLASHAHOLICS's videos! P.S.: they are obviously SAMSUNG LEDs, there isn't a company called 'Sumsung'. I also oreder mine from Banggood, where the description has this typo.
@@StormChild I'm actually ok with the light/tint on my SP36, but I'd still like to add the one with the Anduril UI. I'll probably end up caving. I have the Firelflies E07 and the Emissar D18 and love the lightning!
I have the Fireflies E07 and the Emisar D18, but the my SP36 is in NarsilM. Love all of them :) (Still waiting for my ordered D4S in black with red aux, coming up on 2 months now) The Emisar D18 is absolutely the greatest one on sheer power!
@@wadepage7809 I have the cyan aux D4S, it's one of my top 3 fav lights alongside with the D4 as my EDC. :)) I think I'll skip the D18, it seems to be a beast, but I already own a BLF Q8 and the Sofirn SP36 BLF Anduril version, so that's enough soda cans for me ;)), and if I want more than enough lumens, there is my good ol' Imalent DX80 for this purpose. x)) BTW, the D1S is also a great thrower, it's so tiny it's almost an EDC. I don't have the D1 though, it's also pretty throwy for its size, but gets hot way too soon. (Still, my favorite thrower is the Astrolux FT03, it's pretty darn awesome.)
Got thrunite tc20, which is better? Or is there any flashlight in same size and samr quality or more better than tc20? My main matter is size, don’t like bigger
I noticed the Narsilm version has 6000 lumens vs 5650 for this version. Do you think sacrificing the brightness for the extra options is worth it? Sorry I'm just having trouble deciding between the two.
I've had both, and IMO the SP36 is by far the better flashlight. The main reason, is the UI makes it much more entertaining to use. Plus it's brighter, and has USB-C Charging. The only thing negative I can say about the SP36, is that it's a bit larger, and heavier than the TC20. But to me, it's not a problem. If I were you, I'd buy an SP36, and skip the TC20 entirely.
I have both and the SP36 is way more powerful... But they are both great in their different ways. But for all out performance the SP36 is greater I think. And they use different batteries, the SP36 uses 3x 18650 and the ODF30C use a single 26650 battery.

I like "annoying the neighbours" part. I always do that to one of my annoying neighbour, just to make her feel annoyed. LOL.
