Well going into the 6 game road trip I would have gladly taken a 3-3 result. 2 Ws against The Mets & 1W against The Phillies. The fact Padres almost took 2 from The Phillies still gives us hope
COACH: What do you think is the MAIN reason for Pads anemic offense? I remember you always talking about "mental toughness", and I think that expresses why every time we get a new good bat on the team, the veterans/big contract guys seem to go dormant... Do you think this lack of mental toughness is causing them to be intimidated & perform poorly?
