These people are taking Kenyans for fools. Kenyans are asking a simple question…why was Adani secretly single sourced yet they won their 6 airport tenders in India through competitive open tender? No one including the President has answered this simple question. Instead he is going around explaining what PPP is citing the express way as an example. That’s not the issue and he knows single source is the issue but is pretending.
The world standard for such tenders is open competition so why is ours single sourced and worse still it was done secretly?

Those raising this issue are not inciters or funded by foreigners, these are patriots. Why is everyone sidestepping justifying the single source? Adani itself has won 6 open tenders why did they approach Kenya secretly? If they had our interest at heart why didn’t they recommend open competition the same way they have won previous tenders?
Adani had no airport management experience and the law was changed to allow them to participate in the tender they won in India. They pushed for the law to be changed so that companies without experience to bid. Sure enough they won all 6 tenders and it raised concerns with allegations of corruption in that they are connected with Prime Minister Modi coming from the same state of Gujarat.
Why are seasoned players in airports management not invited to bid for Kenya’s airport lease tender? Your guess is as good as mine.
