Aven, after awakening an ancient power resting within his lineage, hears strange voices calling him from across the seas. Voices that beckon for him to follow, and fulfill his destiny.
The characters in this video are NOT from Captive Prince, however the story - Captured Hearts - was inspired by it. It's based on a D&D campaign between myself and my dear friend! If you'd like to learn more about the characters or read the story, please follow the link!
To clear up some confusion: Aven is the main character of the animatic and he's bisexual! His partner is Lucian, a male. :)

@@xsekhmetx actually those 2 are not actually a princes because hercules in a demigod tarzan is a human raised in the jungle while alladin it can be because after alladin marry jasmine his status rise up from commoner to royalty.

@@JohnMarwinDBayer Same can be said for Mulan who never became royalty, Pocahontas who is the daughter of a chief so technically not a princess, and Tiana whose status also rose up after marrying Prince Naveen. But they're all still considered Disney princesses so

@@Rasofcreation Yes he is wearing a wedding band, and I do agree that was his partner, but some brothers do. Younger brother the older brother has to raise, a brother gets sick, brother is going through a lot, etc.
@@angelfernando5327 anyway he Is the maincharacter of "Captive Prince". So I can tell you that he is the father on that painting. BUT this animation is totally OOC (out of the character) cause he would DIE before left Laurent (his husband) back

I really like this concept! The couple reminds me of Damen and Laurent from the "Captive Prince" series.
We wrote this in the linked tumblr, but they were actually the inspiration that started the series! 😍 nice to see another fan

Not a fan of skipping the first chorus but this was absolutely fantastic. Love love the fire / dragon part. Derp faces made me laugh so hard. Fantastic art and the animatic is done so well, it tricks your mind into seeing it as a straight up animation. Kinda like a well done book makes you almost hallucinate.

I have zero context for anything happening but I still loved watching it, building the world as it I learned more as the song went on. also, I did not expect the transformation at the end. I was both surprised and cheering him on!
