Very cool! I went with the Tisas raider clone. Things i learned is the 1911 is very much a point and shoot gun! I liked it so much im having the slide milled for a red dot and threw on a tlr 1 hl bronze.

I just managed to find one for, frankly, a steal at my local and immediately put it in layaway. I've had good experiences with regular Colt 1911's, so I'm excited to see what this one brings to the table. It's fit and finish was definitely nicer than my Competition series.

Nice, love how it looks. But never forget the og 1911!

Nice review. Did you replace the recoil springs with factory dual springs? I can’t find them anywhere.

I am also interested in tracking down recoil springs

@@bigredshelby @M45A1Guy No luck, there is only one place that I have found selling the springs, and they don't tell you what the poundage is. My suspicion is that they are the same springs used in the 10mm Delta Elite, as those are the only other dual springs I can find. As stated in the video, they wore out super early. I replaced them with standard single spring since I couldn't find any information on the genuine colt ones.

Couldn’t find one at a decent price. I purchased the Tisas Raider instead.

Tisas is doing some pretty nice things lately.

The 3 Stars were Not a knod to the head of the program. They were fact a tribute to the then President of Colt ,LTG William M Keys USMC Retired.
