I did the same for my friends kids and they catch. Took them shopping and they caught more fish than i did that day lol. Well because i was guiding of course lol
that's very nice of you , hope you guys get back together someday or not, but i like how you guys still can hang out n fish. Is she a left hand retrieve or right hand? because seems like she would be a left just by her retrieval. Next step is to teach her how to setup, and hold fish and take hooks out, catch and release. Oh yeah and pack a rag to wipe your hands that's what i do so my clothes dont smell like fish. LOL. I know you said lures dont work on that lake, to me if i was gona keep them i use powerbait/carolina rig, but if i was going to catch n relase its always lures.
That is completely correct, they have a protective slime that if they lose, they will die, you’re suppose to wet your hands before touching trout, but these are just stocked trout and the next guy after me will catch them and take them home or eventually die in the summer so I don’t worry to much about touching them with dry hands but if I was fishing in a river catching natural trout then 100 percent I would wet my hands and us a net and the trout would never leave the water
This is a stocked city pond, the people standing next to me throw them back in from the bank, and these trout will be fished out in no time, if I was fishing a natural river then I would fully care for these trout
@@AdamRyanA yeah I mean I grew up fishing stock trout out of a pond but it's still good to teach proper release methods especially on a video aimed at beginners.

You guys crack me up... Release a dying fish then like... Something is jumping over there...😂
It wasn’t dying, just not ready to go back yet, all the fish swam off on there on
Adam, That is a lot of tackle!
i was always told not to touch trout unless you eat it cause theyll die i never looked into it but do they live alright after you catch them

@@AdamRyanA makes sense was curious ive never messed with them before.
Very nice video my guy. !Question: does that doe bait only catch trout or does it work for bluegill and bass fishing or other spices?
Ummm.. idk lol I never tried for other types of fish
I have seen a catfish take it once tho

Frogs have large pupils.
Ayyyyy! You the man! 🤙
I leave my zip ties on just in case it ever comes out of the real receipt has happened before😅
Invest in A Tackle Backpack
Definitely gotta trade out some of that tackle for a small net, a stringer, and a plastic trout hook remover.
