I have been following you for YEARS (like since we were both in high school) and I adore the health and wellness content whenever it is included in videos! It’s so relatable to see the journey and amazing to have shared resources in a community that is looking for similar things. I know people can SUCK about these topics, so thank you for sharing with us!

Hi Meg! I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes since 2020 and the blood glucose monitor on my arm has absolutely changed my life, so I’m so glad you got a prescription for it! It’s so much easier to keep track of your sugars throughout the day and the alerts you can set up are so helpful for me to know when to take insulin or when I need a snack etc.
Just take it one day at a time and give yourself love and patience ❤ I know you’re not pre diabetic or diagnosed with diabetes but I so appreciate you being vulnerable and talking about all of this bc it IS really hard and there is SOOOO much blame and shame around diabetes and being diabetic.
Sending you so much love!!! ❤❤❤

glucose issues are the WORST! it is seriously such a hurdle for family functions/hangs with friends with food. it feels so restrictive sometimes & often frustrating. I'm glad to hear your in arm monitor helps! i just put mine in today :) loving the ease of tracking so far. sending love!

Meghaaann soo many things to say about this video!! First, wonderful video and thank you for posting such a positive video!! Second, I also was diagnosed with GD and I remember just feeling so guilty AND being told it was my fault for not “eating healthier” at the beginning of my pregnancy by no other than my own mom 😢 but luckily I had a great birthing team that educated me and empowered me to control my numbers through diet. That being said I am 2yrs pp and I am STRUGGLING to get back into a healthy relationship with food and exercise so your video is reminding me of these things! Again thank you for such a great video! I feel validated and less alone ❤️❤️

The way the algorithm feeds you these out of pocket, toxic postpartum content is INSANE! I deleted Instagram during pregnancy because it made me so anxious I could not function (also a PCOS girly, also at higher risk for GD, and did birth a “big baby”) and seriously considering doing so again. Love to see the topic being discussed in such a vulnerable, holistic way! 🫶🏼

Man we adopted our twins because a fam asked us to. We went and got them at 4 weeks old and left because my spouse was only allowed a certain days off when they were military. We never did classes or anything. It was a hard fort year. We felt like zombies lol that the year passed really fast. There were a lot of sick days because they would get sick and we would take them to get seen. And mind you my spouse was the only one working since they were in the military at the time. After that year when we moved to Cali they didn’t get socks for about 2 years until I got Covid in 2022. Then my spouse had it so they got Covid and they were sick only for 2 days and they haven’t been vaccinated. Then kindergarten came they were sick a lot. Now 1st grade there doing better. Woah. I hope you don’t have to go through so much sickness, we didn’t let our kids get use to germs because before I had kids I’ve always been a germaphobic.

this comment is so interesting to me because i’m sure you’re not the only one who has observed this! once having my baby i was very vocal about not wanting to make too much baby centered content, but the overwhelming majority of my viewers said to do it because it’s true to me & my life right now. if it’s not for you, that’s fine or maybe it will be relevant at a different point in your life. many of the comments say how they’re looking forward to using these vids as resources later. it’s just my current chapter in the long story of my life :) & this is why it’s so great to have mom friends who care lol
