Today's video has a very surprising and unexpected ending!
We visit Lewisburg Antiqie mall in Lewisburg, PA.
I haven't had the pleasure of being here in nearly 2 months and it was an amazing and humbling return!
My favorite vendor in the mall was there and she thanked me for the support and I was reminded why I do this!
This is a vintage and antique shopping video, but the end, had me so greatful!

I think that last green free form blown glass piece said $40.00 instead of $400.00! I ran the video back & stopped it & unless maybe I was looking @ a vendor # it was $40. I thought you might check yourself & want to go back to get it! I love all of the green like you guys, & that thing was great! I’m a huge fan & have been watching from the start. Don’t tell the others, but you are my FAV! 🤫
Shelley, I will have to agree with you on that price of $40.00. I went back to check because I love that piece, also. What a deal if it is $40.00.

I collect the birds of happiness of every color and I do have a couple of the clearish ones that have a greenish color. They do not glow.

I just love your "EEWL" sound you make when you just don't care for something...... And you say "That's a Look!". Cracks me up every time. But my favorites are always the books. Fascinates me with the illustration details that went into books in years gone by. They were true works of art!
As a graphic illustrator, I really appreciate those illustrations on the children's books. They are amazing.

I really like those micro-mosaics, seems like between you and Jason, PA is the spot to look for those! Ive never seen any in person here. True facts about pricing items to move and having new inventory to look at in booths and change things up. I so appreciate vendors who follow that advice. I do feel bad for those that have sat the same for 20+ years and wonder how they can still afford to have booth without moving any inventory.

I wanted to also say I fully agree with you. I often rescue things for resell. Not to make a ton of money but to be able to get it in the hands of someone who will cherish it. It drives me crazy to hear those dreaded words, “.on eBay it’s …”. Plus different cities, different markets. And you have to have the buyer. So many factors. I love that you try find good deals so you can pass them along. You’re just wonderful and so entertaining. Your boyish enthusiasm is charming.

Always amazing MT! YES just because someone got a high amount once doesn't mean that is the standard everytime. Sometimes things are amazing and a great deal and sometimes a specific person needs a specific item and they will pay the price they will for that item.

The children’s books are really cute I loved the green glass you showed right at the end the shape was so dramatic
When I was decorating my husband's man cave bathroom we were going with kind of a "Game" theme. I found some old pool balls at a yard sale for a few dollars and a 50 cent large clear vase. I put the old pool balls in that clear vase and it gets more compliments than the decor I paid out money for. Everyone who uses that bathroom comments on it . Simple decor but huge impact

The eBay thing is a pet peeve with me, in some settings. Nothing makes my heart sink faster than seeing a Buy It Now eBay listing printed out and taped to a garage or estate sale item. And the item priced accordingly. I wish folks would just stop with that. Lol
The small planters with a small opening work nice to hold small scissors and some tools in my sewing/knitting room.

I totally agree with your theory on buying and selling. I went to an antique market today and had no less than 4 vendors say "well on ebay, I would get this". Yes, I know how ebay works. If I wanted to buy from ebay I would have stayed home. I know what goes into packing and Shipping and I am saving you from having to doing that and fees. As a collector I am well aware of prices and am very willing to pay a fair price, but I am not going to overpay based on your made up Ebay listing price. Thank you Michael for being an awesome seller!

I always loved Mr Peanut(especially seeing him on the boardwalk at the Jersey shore growing up), but that peanut butter maker was kinda gross with it coming out of his ear! Love those little animal planters. And love the mini mosaics!!

I have a booth space as well as selling on Ebay, so I know my customer at my booth is NOT the same customer on Ebay, so, yes knowing your customer is key. Clock is beautiful.

I have never seen a German cuckoo (sp) clock like this one, and I am the German in this bunch lol. I am intrigued by it, but have zero idea n where to place it as far as age goes. Interesting piece for sure! ♥

Speaking of eBay comps…I was at an Australian Goodwill equivalent Vinnies and they had a framed eBay print out of listed price for $1500 to justify their item for $1000. It wasn’t even a sold comp….

Michael I always think that when vendors have the same things in their booth for two years and it’s still there because they don’t lower the price, isn’t that just them paying for storage for it to sit there. Because they are paying that booth rental every month. Just my opinion.
That said $40 not 400
