Its just not true. He Plays basically the same Stuff as at the first album, though in my opinion Songs for Sanity was a very good album. I mean: no progress and melodically: chromatism mixed with banality.

Met him a few times. Nicest guy ever. He actually stopped what he was doing at the NAMM years ago. And took pics with my wife and I. He saw that we were late to get in line, which was hours long. And waved us over to get pics. Love this guy! Hey John 5 thanks for your humbleness

I get bored with excessive shredding usually, this is so fresh, groovy, fluid and melodic. I’ve become a fan of yours over the past few years and I’m not usually a fan boy of anyone, but I’m a fan of yours man. You fucking rock dude, and it looks effortless. Feel stupid admitting this but as an old metal head I didn’t know who he was. I’m going to make up for it from now on though. He his truly a phenomenon. Beautiful skillful guitar playing from someone who loves what he does. You can just tell.
Just heard this guy for the first time last night in Columbus OH. I was very impressed that he played every Motley Crue song so well. Very respectful of Mick Mars. The solo John did was great. I'm an instant fan. I now want to hear everything he's done especially with David Lee Roth.

I swear its like that Tele is on sum mystical flight,and J5 tames it. Then turns it into a song. Truly one of a kind musician. Cant wait to see another show of J5 and the creatures. Such a fun time/meet n greets icing on the cake. Very catchy riffs as always. Great Jam
Most unique guitar player on the planet with his feel and play style and his riffs and sounds are just plain killer. I would enjoy a good jam session with him.
