- Port St Johns a gem of the Transkei is renowned for producing Garrick and Kob this time of the year as we anxiously await the annual sardine run. Andre Henn and Kumarin Naicker did a trip to Port St Johns, accommodated by the lovely Spotted Grunter Resort. This three-day trip was saved by the prince of the ocean.

Kob came on the again the day after we left, normal story. Sea (ground swell) was too big when we were there!
