I’d say I’m definitely a feel guy. I only ever use one layout so that I can see the different reactions from the same hand/core position to know where in my bay the ball belongs. I will say this though, I’m finding myself liking solids over pearls and hybrids more and more.
I cant stop staring at the tan line on your forehead
Comment: Are you a "numbers" bowler? Or a "feel" bowler?
Been waiting for this one 😁
Same
Looking good so far. This puppy’s replacing my gem.
Great video. Detailed, but easy to understand. You guys are the premier channel for ball reviews. Keep up the excellent work.
A bit of both. I take a look at the numbers, and then I watch ball videos to see what the standard motion looks like. Once I get it, I tell my pro shop guy what I want the ball to do, and he has always taken care of me. My arsenal is fairly solid because of this; I have a few balls for straight, a few balls for angles, and a few Jacks of All Trades but Masters of None.
Outstanding comparison video!! Thank you 🤙🤙
I have been throwing this ball for 2 weeks now on a house shot and I am loving it. My thoughts were the same exact as yours. I like my gem, but MAYBE for 1 game then I am having to move. The eternity is fantastic in that I can use it for that first game straighter up but when I start moving left it just keeps coming so it is a lot more versatile.
Definitely a feel bowler. I love these vids cause jungo’s game resembles my own. Absolutely my go to for reviews
Mainly a numbers person, but sometimes when it doesn't work out, you just gotta take a leap of faith and go with your feeling.
I love the ufo alert those numbers were perfect for a house shot
Definitely a feel bowler. The Pi looks great
I’m a bit of both. My PSO has drilled me balls and I’ll use the same drilling on other balls. Then there are times when I’ll give a layout to use ..
I like to go by feel. See what shapes I get with hand position manipulations and go from there.
I'm a feel guy, but I'm curious and have a question for Jungo and Jimoo: how do you lay out your big asym bowling balls such as a gem/eternity pi/reality?
Both numbers and feel. I use the numbers to find out the intended play style. But I can't get the needed feedback without actually throwing it. However, I should also say, I haven't bowled in situations where a large arsenal is needed.
what layout did you use on the clone ???? thanks love the channel
For me I don't deal with the numbers but look for a certain ball reaction. I'd see how it reacts for others before drilling a ball up. If I'm one of the first ones drilling a new ball I'll go with feedback from my ball driller for his suggestions.
7:09 I was actually looking at the eternity Pi because I'm finally getting rid of my Proton Physix. I switched to 2 finger had the ball plugged and re drilled, they drilled it in the wrong spot and it just wouldn't do anything for me it just went straight unless I went directly up the back. had it plugged and redrilled again and now it's in the correct spot but my speed is way higher cause even though it's plugged the weight dropped by like a pound.
Edit: by the time I had my proton Physix drilled for 2 finger right had already been bowling 2 finger for a couple months in my free time and had all my other equipment at 2 finger
I'm a feel type bowler. I see the reactions from the various videos, and then try to match up my grit (3000-4000) to the ball.
I try to look at the numbers and drill it accordingly but I never find a layout appropriate for my bowling style
Feel for sure
Do you guy have any m advice on what bowl ball I should get I have the web mb pin up don’t know the layout
What’s a good 3 ball bag? I wanted to see if a Tour Dynamics, XPONENT & IQ Ruby is a pretty good combo
Anything with a rondure core just looks good
What if you took a 2k pad to the Clone?
8:04 I’m a numbers guy, definitely core no# and Cover, on all asymmetric & Symmetric. ( 9:53 I’ve been looking for a OG UFO, NIB, do you think the Pie comes close? Thanks
I’d really like to see how the eternity pi compares to other top of the line strong asym solids like the gem and reality
Nice video
i look at numbers first because it gives a general idea of the ball strength. lower rg earlier hook, lower diff lower hook potential, and vice versa. then i look at ball reviews to how it stacks up in the lineup of balls.
The numbers can easily lead you astray, though... because they only tell you about the core, and the cover's impact is huge. Right now I'm throwing the Dark Web Hybrid and Knock Out Bruiser a lot. On paper, the Knock Out should be earlier, and hook a couple of more boards than the DW Hybrid, but it's exactly the opposite. Same layout, and I keep both surfaces at 3K... the Web's cover is considerably stronger and earlier, despite being a hybrid. At this point there are so many pieces to the puzzle that it's really tricky to figure out what any ball is gonna do, till you actually get it in your hands.
I trust my pro shop guy(JR pro shop) as I don't have a clue what I am looking for. I recently bought the IQ still trying to figure it out. Do you do training ?
The numbers are one piece of the puzzle, but they can also lead you astray because they only tell you about the core. They don't give you any info about the cover. Jungo would suggest using the pi on the fresh house shot ?
Cool video talk tech bowling bowling ball 900,, golbal enterity pi bowling ball with nano technology in the bowling ball more strike and spare hitting power at time Jr pro shop
I wish I had a Proton too mine burned out!!!
I've been a feel bowler for the last couple years, but now I'm becoming a numbers guy
I'm noticing alot of people in the comment section that are fellow feel bowlers. I don't pay too much attention to numbers on a ball, but it has some play in whether it fits in my arsenal.
Personally, I'm a feel bowler I'm a guy and let my guy at my pro shop handle the drilling. I'm a high rev guy, so maybe the clone would be better for me, I think. Blueberry and chocolate cream pie are my favorite pies.
Field bowler, still pretty new.
I'm strictly an alley bowler.
I'm a feel bowler. I understand the numbers a little bit. But I just look for shapes that compliment each other in my Arsenal.

I was wondering if I heard that right
to answer that question i guess i am a feel guy, i wish i understood the numbers better but i just dont. i watch videos on explanations of numbers and i still dont understand. i also dont know my numbers like tilt, rotation, axis, pap, rpm, speed. i have general idea im a 350ish rpm at 15-17-mph.(lefty) my pro shop guy doesnt watch you bowl, he looks at your equipment uses like baseline drills and is usually ok. if i wanna step up my game past a 190-200 bowler im gonna have to figure out my numbers.
I think you have to be both a numbers guy and feel bowler. First, you need to know the numbers to understand the design behind the ball and the type of physics involved with the "engine" core, not to mention how that aligns with the coverstock. Then , Feel comes in. Numbers gives you a general idea and the feel is where you can fine tune how it works in your game and your conditions. Knowing the numbers can greatly expedite the feel out process, and help limit imaginary expectation. If the numbers don't support a big down lane snap, you can pretty much eliminate that possibility when preparing to bowl with that ball. The numbers can also help you realize you might be rolling that ball in the wrong zone ie. low RG, playing to straight, ball just isn't hooking much. . well, the ball is burning out early, you have to move much further left to get the ball to skid, hook, and roll in the right areas front to back.
8:44 NO WHO???
Could you guys throw the clone VS. Exotic gem
How is your camera better than my eyes
I am a feel person I like to demo these balls before I buy if I’m spending my hard earned money I want the best that fits my game or a need on my bag
I think if this was a Storm ball the fragrance would be apple/cinnamon.
I’m mostly a feel kinda guy, but have a benchmark layout and if the ball looks awesome with that layout I’ll buy another and talk with my pso and figure out how to use the new ball earlier or later in sets.
Go by fill........
Numbers guy
Neither. I don't know nearly enough for either numbers or feel to help me.
Feel. Put holes in it and let me throw it. I dont know sh$t.
Too bad the clone has been discontinued
Feel..
