    …yes.

I love learning Korean and about Korean language not in hopes I will ever be fluent (highly doubtful) but just so I can appreciate BTS’ bars. The layers of wordplay is stupid

      why are you spreading misinfo?
All three members have writing/composing credits on this song. All of them wrote their respective verses and the main instrumental theme of this song was composed by Shin Myung-Soo.
Most of ARMYS just don't read official credits at all and write whatever they have heard on social media. They think Suga wrote the whole song just because in one interview he said: "this song was written", he didn't say "I wrote it". People are really disrespectful and say lots of misleading stuff.
      Credits are:
      writing/composing: Shin Myung-Soo, DOCSKIM, Suga, RM, j-hope
      producing: DOCSKIM
the rap line also has credits as recording engineers.
In that interview Suga also talked he made melody for Outro: Tear, but he didn't tell specifically for which part of the song, and again people assumed he composed everything which is not true. As I said the main composer is Shin Myung-Soo. Earlier he made instrumental track to BTS Highlight Reel, a long piece for their Bangtan Universe storyline (a fictional storyline that has all the BTS members playing their own character). And in that instrumental piece, there is a fragment almost identical to this song, with piano notes at the start and orchestration ect. So idk why people never mention him when he is credited 1st (in order) in official credits.
Anyway RM in his vlive talked about members' involvement ans said Suga's version of melody line used in chorus (and maybe a bridge part too) was chosen by the producer so that's why Suga said he made melody to this song. But for sure he didn't mean the whole song and for sure he didn't make instrumental track.

I really appreciate you reacting to BTS again and especially giving time to the rap line! Not a lot of vocal coach reactors dig into the rappers but it really takes a lot of technique to do what they do and they've spent a decade honing their crafts. They're each so unique too so it's really cool to hear appreciation and understanding of the technicality of their rap. Like they're not just speaking over a beat. They're very nuanced and intentional with their delivery. The least we can do is take the time to examine and appreciate it.

People in the comments, please be careful with misinfo. All of the rappers are included as songwriters. The rappers always write their own stuff (save for in foreign language songs). Suga wrote his stuff. RM and j-hope wrote their's. And I think the instrumental was composed by someone else entirely. Look at the song credits. It's right there.

I think what happens is that people who are not familiar with the mechanics of song production hear "So-and-so (Suga in this case) brought the song to us..." and think it means the complete song. It really means that he brought something that *became* the song -- a verse, a hook, a beat, some combination -- and then many other hands touched it, added to it, and helped shape it.

In those melodic parts sometimes you can hear a backing track, BTS rappers use it very seldom but in this case because on the album version there was layered heavy "autotune" effect to some parts, probably for "aesthetic" reason that autotune effect was preserved for the live version by adding quite loud backing track in places. It is the most prominent in SUGA's singing parts (chorus and the bridge). So no, that wan't two members singing/harmonizing together.

There are three type of TEARs here:
    (1) Break, (2) Cry, (3) Heal
On 3, T.E.A.R. means 4 tasks of mourning. Psychologist J. William Worden provides a framework of 4 tasks that help us understand how people journey through grief. Healing happens gradually as grievers address these tasks, in no specific order, going back and forth from one to another over time.
: Task 1: 'T'o Accept the Reality of the Loss
: Task 2: 'E'xperience the Pain of Grief
: Task 3: 'A'djust to a World Without the Deceased
: Task 4: 'R'einvest yourself into the world
This song is the perfect outro for whats to come: Love Yourself: Answer album.

Hello nice reaction. Dam it is soooo cool to hear a vocal teacher react to rapper with solid technique. I loved it !
Maybe you ve heard it but they released an Anthology album PROOF before focusing on their solo careers and their personal lives even though they will still have some group activity but less than before.
They performed a mini PROOF concert with a live band and chorus in the middle of Las Vegas desert. They sung 3 songs : Born singers (old song but remixed), Yet to come (new title track) with Anderson Paak at drums and For Youth (New song).
    It was fantastic, great vibes.
So if you have some time maybe you could react to it.
    Thank You 💜

Hello i really enjoy how u explain each members' voices it's captivating 🤓
Have u listened to the HUG ME cover with V and J.Hope ?
I noticed that u react to lives. So sad there is no live of Christmas tree and Snow Flower by V. I would have loved hear u dive into those beautiful songs.
Ty for your work i love it 👍💜

Great to hear you review BTS again. This is one of my favourite rap songs. Who would have thought at my age I would come to love rap but as you said the lyrics to me are what make their raps special and worth listening to.The vocals have released some work worth your review lately. V and Jin both released an OST a song that is used in a Korean dram and soon will be released a Jungkook/Suga collaboration of an OST of their new Webtoon. V is a lovely song very modern, very V, blends well with the drama. Jin's is more a dramatic song to match the drama and is my personal favourite. Waiting patiently for Suga/Jungkooks. Would love you to review them. Glad your well. Regards Alwena 😍

It was so nice to see a return to BTS content. If you're looking for something with more vocals, I suggest "Film Out". It's been so long that I don't really remember which songs you have already reacted to, but I do know you haven't reacted to Jin's recent OST, "Yours" and it's really gorgeous. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Interesting that you should mention the lyrics...ALL of BTS lyrics are deep..at least all of the songs they write and produce. This one is especially raw because of when and why it was written. BTS is the only rap I like. They've wrecked me for all others.
