The bend part of the metal hose, can you remove that? Like, is that detachable? If it is, I'm pretty confident that a straight hose and the floor tool work much better. In Germany this is a very standard way of vacs but I never saw a bend hose before Henry.

I usually by a few materials together and if I need to I’ll add more. Bottle caps, eraser, beans, coins and balloons are alwaysgreat together
