Hello. I've used toppik. I now use kerantique spray on fibers and Joan Rivers beauty powder. I also am using castor oil - which has amazing hair growth properties.
Howdy There hello, I'm a black women who loves both products also. I'm not losing hair Im losing eyebrows and lashes. I can truly say that I've seen slow but growth.

I stopped using Batiste because it would give me headaches throughout the day as well. But it also made me get white/blackheads on my scalp, so I just started washing my hair everyday now. I'm going to skip hair washing everyday because more I think my hair is not healthy, especially my scalp. Sorry for the rant. Love the video!!
No girl, your good. Rant away! Thinning hair is something to rant about lol! Dry shampoo works great for me. It's the tinted spray (for brunettes) that gave me pain.
Definitely buy a spray applicator. They're probably overpriced, but it's well worth the investment because it'll quickly pay for itself and then some, by the amount of fibres saved during each application. Also helps reduce transfer of the fibres onto clothing etc.
@@brianlee1417 Yes, but the trick is to not go mad with it. I also spray a small amount on the area beforehand, it helps the fibres to bond with the hair and scalp, but again not too much otherwise the fibres will clump. You want to make it very mildly sticky, but not wet. Shockwaves Ultra Power Hold is the best I've found, but other strong hairsprays should be okay. Every element of applying fibres is about using the absolute lowest amount of products that will achieve the effect. It's instinct to want to put tons of fibres on, then hold it in place with tons of hairspray. But it'll look awful.
Omg...my sister told me about this stuff. My part in my hair looks just like yours before using the product. Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to try it.
A nice, honest demonstration as to how one user applies this product with additional real-life experiences. Saw the ad on TV, visited the Toppik website but, their video would only flicker rather than play. Normally, TH-camrs provide better information anyway. Would have preferred this 'tuber' list the colors available, either in the video or the description box. But the colors offered should be shown on Toppik's website. My wife just walked by; said she wouldn't use it. This ends my research on a balding scalp.
Georgia Dawg thank you ♡. I made this video for some ladies in my hairloss support group and it went viral. If it were an actual sponsored full review I would have offered the colors and posted a link to the website etc. See if your wife will try topper hair pieces.
I had permed my hair about 5 years ago and my hair started thinning out like crazy but only at the scalp/roots the ends of my hair is fine. Idk if I should try this product but I’m definitely planning on seeing a dermatologist.
I was doing a photoshoot for a newspaper here once. The make-up artist made me look fabulous and used this on me as I have similar hair loss to yours. I've never felt so good! I kept the make-up on, and on the London underground going home, I was getting a few looks from men, so my confidence (normally very low) rose and I felt good about myself. It wasn't until I got home that I realised the real reason they were staring - it had melted off my scalp when it got too hot on the train and I had streaks of dark brown all running down my face and neck! Hahaha! It did look great though, but be careful of sweating or rain!
Helen Hancock oh wow! That has never happened to me and I wear it in the summer in high heat and very humid weather. Are you sure it was the wool hair fibers?
Joannehopes Very sure, however, for the cameras, the make-up artist used almost the whole bottle! Which really, you only need a small amount. I did buy some after that, and only use a fraction of the amount she used and haven't had a problem with it. It's a good tip of yours to use hairspray.
I don’t know why this was in my recommend or why I am watching it but this was very interesting and probably very helpful for other people with hair loss :)
hii thank you so much for this video. i am 21 and i started losing my hair when i was 18 due to an iron deficiency. i have been actively trying to raise my iron intake/taking supplements and oil my hair/take care of it as much as i can, but its not helping much. it makes me super insecure because i used to have such long and thick beautiful hair. i will be buying the fibers tomorrow, i hope it works. thank you again!
I'll have to look into buying this. I just use loreal root cover up but it leaves my hair stiff, and i put brown eyeshadow on my part. I started losing my hair all of a sudden in my late 20s. Great video Also loreal has a silicone hair thickening filler, it works really good
Thanks for this. I lost hair due to having dreadlocks for 8 years. I will try this out and hope it helps. I would like to try something more permanent but this seems to be a good immediate solution.
Wish .com sells it too! Same brand. Cheapest I saw was $4.25 (plus 2 bucks for shipping) but if you keep looking on that app you can totally find it for a buck or so off.
+carolinecristal if it's from wish it won't be a legit product. or I highly doubt it at least. most of the stuff on there is dupes and copies products.
I felt pretty hopeless about my frontal hair loss (I have a very receded hairline to boot....) But watching your tutorial gave me hope :) Your hair looks fabulous!
I have been using it for years. Easy, simple. It makes me feel so much more confident. Relatively inexpensive (I don’t wash my hair every day, just refresh with a small amount of product), and it has changed my life, truly. I love it.
I’m placing an order right now but I’m so glad you are sharing and giving an honest review. I’ve been losing hair since I gave birth to my kids 4-5 years now 😭😭
I used this stuff for 10 years, found myself using more and more over the years, developed lung probs (bronchiectasis). No matter how careful you are, you will get this stuff everywhere as well as inhaling it which is not good. I’ve stopped using it and would recommend cautious use!!!
DE51B0Y Are you try use minoxidil? I say that in a good way because, I have hair lost and that's help me a lot, it's better that use something for cover the problem, but no help you to make grow your hair, sorry for my English hehehe 😅
I use this as well, and the results are fantastic. Using it without the barrier will give your forehead hairs and extra volume and tint, so I use a towel, but I think I need the device you have. I find that if I tap the product at an angle instead of directly applying it down as you do, you won’t get the clumps and it distributes better, also, try using a bush, similar to a Mason Pearson style bush instead of a simple plastic comb since the bristles are of different length. Using a makeup brush will help keep it collecting in the part line, and just use a lightweight hair spray if you sweat any of the product out, but I have never had this happen. I know you’re paid to promote this, but I must mention some other “must haves” in my arsenal, since people like us may need to know if them. (I use this product as well as many other awesome things.) I am sorry Batisse bothered your senses, I LOVE the smell of the cherry and tropical, even though as crown covers, they are chalky, however their tinted sprays are great in a quick fix,p. The more widely available psst brand smells nice, and and if you like grapefruit scents, the fancy salon brand Davines dry spray isn’t the best, but it smells great as a luxurious top note. But by far the BEST dry hair powder in the world, hands down, bang for you buck, is Pret-A-porter by Bumble and Bumble.1 bottle lasts forever. It is great for Men and women, boys and girls. Use this first underneath your hair to boost your strands or along with your toppik color fiber as a base powder and you will never catch people losing eye contact with you again. Xoxo I
thanks for this demonstration🌸 Im 28 and had lost a lot of my hair due to hormonal disorders and fybromialgia. Thanks to your vid Im now decided to buy medium brown Topik ☺️
Have you tried dermmatch? It takes longer to apply but it holds better than toppik, I use toppik myself but I use a whole bunch of pomades and waxes and top it off with an 80's amount of hair spray. But I found the dermmatch to hold so well I can dunk my head in water and it won't come off or run.
HTSoon I felt it's exactly like brow powder / eyeshadow.. and those are cheaper. Any dollar store eyeshadow or brow powder works. I used pretty much all types of scalp/baldness concealer but Toppik and similar hair fibres were best, imo. Looked better than powders and sprays.
U can add rosemary oil,n lemon tree oil n vitamin e to ur shampoo n conditioner to stop hair loss n it help ur hair to grow back it works for me n love the smell of it 😀
How long does a bottle like this last you? I'm 22 and losing my hair because of a thyroid condition and want to try something. Mine looks basically like yours.
Brittany Callaghan hi Brittany, the regular size container lasts me a little over a month, on average. I don't use it every day. I also wear toppers, and hats. You can practice at first to see what amount you need. Let me know if you need any help.
Brittany, change the diet, get castor oil too, help regrow make a batch mix up castor oil with shea butter, lavender oil, sandalwood and cedarwood, mine regrew and I was completely bald on top and more patches than haie, androgenic alopecia, veggies and green smoothies, apple cider vinegar is great for blood sugar! Insulin is a hormone and that affects the other hormones.
Yeah I have PCOS and I'm freaking out because my hair is starting to thin noticeably. But I also haven't been on Spironolactone but I'm hoping my doc will put me back on it. Make sure you aren't deficit in vitamins. But I'm trying to figure out a great cover up system while I get back on meds and take my vitamins
Thanks for the video Joanne! I have the same issue as you, I also use toppik, love it and found out the toppik in the purple container (same color) gives me a better lift. Good figure. This is going to help a lot of people. Thanks again for sharing!
Thank you! Your hair is a lot like mine; it's nice to see a normal person demo that gives a good idea how this might work for me. I'm taking some Pandemic Time to fool around with products I was always curious about but never had the time to mess with. I think this goes in my next Sally's order.
Great video! I’ve been loosing hair since I was a teen. Was never taken to the dermatologist. Not long ago I went to the dermatologist. I’ve used wigs in the past but they are too expensive and I work with kids with special needs. Gotten my hair pulled off several times 😆. I have about the same amount of hair as a baby! I’ve been looking into this product, was dreading spending $25 for it but heck…..just bought it, now I will try it. Do you use it every day? I hate to start it and not wear it some days. People are going to wonder what the heck is going on. Especially now that I go back to work tomorrow and we have to introduce ourselves just like every year 😩
Hey! Thank you for this! I realize this was posted seven years ago, but still wanted to thank you! I learned a few tricks from watching! I also use TOPPIK for bare spots, as I have trichotillomania, and it’s been a game-changer! I’m so thankful for it, but decided to finally get online and see how other people apply because, as you said, it’s messy. I figured there had to be a better way! And, oh my goodness, that Batiste dry shampoo also gives me headaches! It’s awful, which is way too bad because, otherwise, I really liked it! It actually turned into a ER visit migraine the other day! Why do hair products have to be so strongly-scented?! I mean, just think - shampoo, conditioner, mousse or gel, dry shampoo, hair spray! Don’t they think about this? Leaves no room for my beloved Chanel *5!
I'm going to a wedding and I want my hair to look fuller for the photos so I've been looking into these products and this^^ was very helpful. Much more helpful by far than the video I just watched before this one, which was about 3x longer😂
Hi I been used the toppik for 2 years and I really liked and I would like to add a tip, do not use hair dryer and also use a sulfate free shampoo, that it's going to help you your scalp

Dollar Store has eye shadow in various shades of brown dark brown and medium which comes all together in the pallet take a heavy brush pet into all the shades and then tap it into the areas on top of your head or even the sides of your hair where it's growing in Gray and cover that which will give it a little darker tone whichever shade you need we'll cover that gray and also cover the bald spots 4 in finishing look you can also put that along your face and areas to make your face look thinner underneath the cheekbones which Contours facial slenderness if needed and all it cost you is $1 Wella no powders only a palette with various shades from light to dark what a great way to transform your looks and looking younger
One note is that w/ this product I believe the way directions say to use is after applying to ‘pat’ the hair to secure the fibers to the area where you have the thinning. To me it seems combing it through the rest of your hair takes away the product from where you need it.
I was wondering that as well. I use Strand Builder (basically the same thing, just the brand Bosley recommended) and was told to pat it down after applying to get the fibers down to the scalp rather than up in the hair, and it looks like combing ti would just pull off the fibers. But then again, Joanne combed it thru in her video and it looked like it stay there and got more evenly distributed so..... :-) And they also said to lightly spray with hair spray after applying.
Two tips: 1. Get the god damn spray/"air pump" device and you will get it perfectly distributed and not have to poor as much fibers and make such a mess. Trust me, big differense. 2. If you want something for a rainy day or going swimming etc, use Dermatch! It stays, but takes longer to apply.
Three questions: 1. Does it get off when combed? 2. Does the product get expired or deteriorate if kept unused in the container? 3. How to remove it from head?
Girls are lucky that don’t go through it as often as every other guy. Although I feel it’s more damaging to a woman’s... emotional well-being. But believe it sucks for guys. All guys. I’m balding like crazy. And although I act tough about it. Work out, ride bikes, box, and plenty tattoos. It’s awful. No guy wants to lose his hair. It hurts. And I have to act so cool about it. It’s depressing.... especially if your younger. I can only imagine how a girl feels about it. Wow... atleast it’s much more acceptable for women to wear wigs. Hairloss is the worse thing ever. It’s honestly up there with aids. I don’t have aids. But the emotional stress is about the same I feel. Honestly and that’s not funny. It’s so consuming. Depressing. And completely changes how you feel. Men get over it eventually. Well not get over but accept it. But any man and I mean any man would do some crazy things to get the hair back. Even if they don’t admit it. Dudes all the time ask me how I don’t give a fuck about shaving my head. I lie to them. All of them. It hurts and even they act like it don’t bother them. But man to man talk they talk about it. Even if you shave your head.. very few men do. They take pride in shaving because they have a choice. And brag they have hair to shave. Good luck ladies I feel for you.
Thank you for your review, you helped me not to buy this product, I'm a black woman who sweats in my hair as well and I wanted to see a review from an African American person because our hair texture is different from Caucasians. So again thank you for saving me time and money.

My hair stopped growing and i began to have really bad thinning at age 17. I'm 21 now and tried rogaine a such products but this gives me hope of finally a good appearance thank you 😩
I'll answer since i also use Toppik and am very happy with it except for this: The only negative side effect I have found is that our drains get clogged from it, because the hair fibers plump up from moisture (water, sweat). So i have to be extremely careful now not to let the hair fibers fall into the sink when i apply it on to my head. Otherwise, the drain gets seriously clogged. And where I wash my hair in the shower seems a bit clogged too, but I'm not sure how much of it is the fact that we have old pipes in an old house. We have had to take a plunger to the shower recently and a gummy dark substance comes up the same color as my fibers and I assume this is the fibers having plumped from contact with water into a gum of sorts. Other than that, i'm very happy with it. No negative side effects on the body or scalp. I was thinking maybe my hair would continue to get thinner and thinner from using it, as i would be "clogging" the hair pores and follicles and impeding growth, but so far, i have zero evidence of that and i've been using the product for several years now.
I use toppik and is fantastic. I use a bit of hair spray with it. it doesn't really get on my pillow, but I agree with the "when you sweat" part. even if is not a huge deal.

Find me on Instagram @joannehopes01. Send me a message. I will help you. 👍💖
When I was a teenager, I got a perm and then my hair started thinning. Now a days I probably have less hair than a baby. No joke!
Great video
Also loreal has a silicone hair thickening filler, it works really good
Me too. Exactly.
Thanks so much for reviewing it! I felt so unconfident about my hairloss but I love your energy and you look great!
If you put a spray holder on it, it will stay in place....... Tresamme hair spray is the best.
Leonard Williams even go swimming?
Leonard Williams Oh Heck yes!! I use all Tresamme products!!😊👍
I read that hair spray seals it in and makes it waterproof and sweat proof.
Thanks for this. I lost hair due to having dreadlocks for 8 years. I will try this out and hope it helps. I would like to try something more permanent but this seems to be a good immediate solution.
New hair fibers video is going to be posted this week! Subscribe and click on the bell icon to get notified! xoxo Jo

I need to know how to apply bigen and hait fiber?
Joannehopes у вас волосы очень жирные! Когда принимаете душ сразу же с полотенцем с массажным движением сушите. Голову в полотенце не оставлайте
Joannehopes I live in Tampa to . I need something that is water proof and stuff
Wow! You really can't tell. Pritty cool
Kim T oh! That's true. I didn't think of that.
I felt pretty hopeless about my frontal hair loss (I have a very receded hairline to boot....) But watching your tutorial gave me hope :) Your hair looks fabulous!
ShakingTheSugarTree Thank you ♡
I have been using it for years. Easy, simple. It makes me feel so much more confident. Relatively inexpensive (I don’t wash my hair every day, just refresh with a small amount of product), and it has changed my life, truly. I love it.
I’m placing an order right now but I’m so glad you are sharing and giving an honest review. I’ve been losing hair since I gave birth to my kids 4-5 years now 😭😭
😭Finasteride is only for men. Otherwise, you could use this AND Toppik.
Thank you so much for making this video! I wish I'd seen this when I was 16 and desperate for anything to conceal my hair loss.
Tilia A. Get castor oil and use it nightly, helped me, mix shea butter and other oils use every night
I did chemoterapy and this product will be a game changer to me
I used this stuff for 10 years, found myself using more and more over the years, developed lung probs (bronchiectasis).
Karla Es hey, it didn’t work for me. I ended up shaving it all off!!!
DE51B0Y ohhh I see, it's ok, well I'm sorry anyway
Use castor oil and shea butter, add other oils, address your diet, it could be hormonal, eat veggie vegany helped me
Karla Es I use it & it does work great only con is you have to keep using it,when ever I’ve stopped for couple weeks hair starts to thin out again
About to order this, all the time spent crying in front of a mirror.. So excited to try this product! Thank you for sharing!
Awesome! Use my Amazon link please 😍👍🏻. In the description box 😉.
Have you tried Jamaican castor oil. Or raw ginger juice?? Helps the hair grow
Xoxo I
I love Bumble and Bumble! ❤️ Thank you so much for the input!
thanks for this demonstration🌸 Im 28 and had lost a lot of my hair due to hormonal disorders and fybromialgia.
Dermmatch
You can also use a little eyeshadow on the scalp first with a cotton ball, then put the fibres.
thank you darling, it's a helpfull video, lots people we struggle with loss hair
That’s pretty impressive. I like how you can comb it through without it all coming out.
Glad you like it!
I'm 32 and lost so much hair on the top... I've been using the batise one to but now will definitely try toppik
Use men rogaine once a day after couple month u will see
you have great results with toppik! I think having the two tone color really helps make the product look more natural.
I thought i was the only one! The batiste shampoo gives me crazy headaches used twice then stopped but no body else seems to have the same prob!
Llĺ
..
I think Hair Boss has hair fibers in it. Whatever they put in... that is a Godsend prouct!
Amazing! It looks really natural!
I have used toppik for couple years already and I like it very much
wtsang tsang have you tried Gofybr yet? I'm really loving it.
Joannehopes no. since you mentioned it, I will try. Thank you 😊
Need this in my life, hair is falling out bad because of im post menopausal🤦♀️😢
It conceals pretty well. You would do great with a hair topper!
U can add rosemary oil,n lemon tree oil n vitamin e to ur shampoo n conditioner to stop hair loss n it help ur hair to grow back it works for me n love the smell of it 😀
Silvia G thanks for the tips! ♡
I love these hair fibres, Im a man who had hair transplant I use this to finish the job make it even thicker. All back again.
I don't mean to be bossy, I was there only 3 years ago and it's hard! Aliexpress is great for clip in hair pieces and wigs.
Yeah I have PCOS and I'm freaking out because my hair is starting to thin noticeably. But I also haven't been on Spironolactone but I'm hoping my doc will put me back on it. Make sure you aren't deficit in vitamins. But I'm trying to figure out a great cover up system while I get back on meds and take my vitamins
hi beuty
Thanks for the video Joanne! I have the same issue as you, I also use toppik, love it and found out the toppik in the purple container (same color) gives me a better lift. Good figure. This is going to help a lot of people. Thanks again for sharing!
I'm 21 and my hair is falling out in he middle. 😞

Nita, I am so sorry that happened to you. I went through a divorce too. But not because of my hair loss. Now I am married to a real man. And he loves me for my inside beauty. Please do not let this keep you into depression. You are not alone. This is why products are made and so popular today. I pray for you to find a beautiful wig, and to be happy, and to marry a man who loves you for your heart.

Hello! Try Jamican Black Castor Oil.
Wow, thank you for posting this. I had been using Caboki and was wanting to try Toppik but didn't know if it's any good. Watching this video I see how great it looks on your hair. Wow. I just ordered a bottle for myself. Thank you for sharing! Crossing my fingers that it will be better than Caboki!

Have you try to boil rosemary then apply it to your scalp? I’m just staring doing it.
Ps: you are beautiful
Roberto Crespo, I bought rosemary essential oils. I am going to try it! Hey, email me your results!
Love this video. I use Toppix and X-Fusion Medium Brown and they are lifesavers! Thank you for sharing.
Girl you are absolutely beautiful!!💖
Hannah Gulbranson thank you ♡
LOL what can’t you get from Amazon?!
Looks fantastic, I’m about to powder my seld
What happens to it, when rains or wind blows ?
Neukx L that's what I want to know or if you got to put your hood of your jacket on . . Are your going to have brown suff on it ?
And they also said to lightly spray with hair spray after applying.
I think it makes a good results I think about purchasing this staff

Woow the effect is awesome, and you look great!
Your so pretty
Pink!poo no she s actually ugly to be honest
Joeypinko wtf is wrong with you?
Thank you ♡
She is beautiful to be honest
Jordy Lunkhead Verrill who are you to say if she is beautiful or not, you probably think Kylie Jenner is beautiful so where is your credibility.
Thank you for your review of the comb and the product!!
Two tips:
1. Get the god damn spray/"air pump" device and you will get it perfectly distributed and not have to poor as much fibers and make such a mess. Trust me, big differense.
2. If you want something for a rainy day or going swimming etc, use Dermatch! It stays, but takes longer to apply.
She literally just said the spray gave her a head ache in another product she was using
Three questions:
Good luck ladies I feel for you.
wahhh wahhhhh! right up there with aids? so would you trade HIV for your hair back? the Devil is waiting for his answer.
Yes
You are REALLY GOOD at applying it! I need to practice with your tutorial. Thanks for sharing
This product causes you to lose more hair due to the chemical ammonium chloride.

Did you went to the doctor?
awww hun, did your parents take you to the doctor? if not, they should
You have probably iron deficiency. Let your doc test your blood. Iron deficiency is relativ normal when you comes to the menstruation cycle.
Vit D deficiency can also cause severe hair loss.
You did it!!! I've seen a lot of applications and I like yours the most...
Wow looks great! good work!
Great tutorial, I wonder if combing would make the fiber fall off?
Yes it will be like raking sand. You will see the lines.
is it has any side effect...??? like eaching or hair falling..
MANISHA DATTA it can be a little itchy when I apply it heavily. But it doesn't make any hair fall. It only helps.
oh thank you ma'am for the information...😍😍
I've tried caboki in dark brown but might try your color looks close to mine.
Thank you for your review, you helped me not to buy this product, I'm a black woman who sweats in my hair as well and I wanted to see a review from an African American person because our hair texture is different from Caucasians. So again thank you for saving me time and money.
I use it. You should get the spray the holds it together or use some spritz

Thanks for sharing!!
What are the side effects?
Hair Transplant No Bakwas Only Gyan As I said in the video, it can be itchy. That is about it.
I've been using hair fibers for quite a long time and I've never had a problem with it clogging my drain.
Joannehopes toppik gave me bad headaches as well I would bode caution gorgeous.
Andy M,
My headaches happened after I used the dry shampoo that has a dye in it.
I use toppik and is fantastic. I use a bit of hair spray with it. it doesn't really get on my pillow, but I agree with the "when you sweat" part. even if is not a huge deal.
That looks amazing! This was very helpful! :)
I tried a bunch of brands and settled on Finally Hair fibers. It works great and costs 1/3 the price.
I really like your eyes
