I did not like the interviewer's asking skills.
The only interview that helps general public like me know about the Blast's master minds is significantly wasted. She has a very bad listening skills. These are the examples:
1. He said very clearly that he never spoke to his elder brother for more than an hour at a stretch. She misunderstood it as if they never spoke for an hour total in one year.
2. He told very clearly that they were in a house arrest (kind of) immediately when they went to Pakistan. She keeps asking why don't you come back to India immediately.

Whenever yakub wants to make an confession she interrupts.
This man came back to India with his family, little children, old parents with the hope of getting justice and removing the blame of the 1993,Bombay Blast and in turn he gets hanged whereas it was his brother Tiger Menon who was actually involved in the 1993 Bomblast and the worst part is that Tiger Menon is still alive.

Even though it was obvious that Yakub Memon was innocent, the Indian government wanted a scapegoat so bad, they executed him in lieu of his brother Tiger. This act was not justice, it was revenge, an act that is considered abhorrent when a government commits it.

First immediate emotions for me after watching this video is, well educated well spoken person, who is gone before his time because he was not on the right path. this is not about a religion, but about ppl who are manipulated and pushed to the wrong path. hope he understands why he was hanged. hope he finds peace, hope he understands all the wrongs he did ...for the record when he defended Tiger he exposed himself, he is full of shit .. god bless

An intellectually smart person with neutral state of mind can easily understand that Yakub is helping a lot by giving each and every small detail without a delay which RAW and IB would have taken many months to find. It is not difficult to understand that his intention is not bad. He clearly appear as innocent and received the death sentence for being family loving person and listening to the advice of his elder brother. I feel bad for Yakub and his family (except Tiger Memon) for putting faith and trust in partial Indian Judiciary and deciding to return to India even though they had idea of how difficult life would be in going through legal aspects and jails. He did not deserve the death punishment. He appears as betrayed by Indian Intelligence and CBI. They received all the needed details and left Yakub to his fate and prosecutor. He appears well mannared, educated mumbaikar. The only problem he had is being an educated person, it is difficult to get into politics, chaplusy and chamchagiri. As neither he or his family in India received support from politician or took the advantage of any politics and stayed in media to keep the issue hot for debate and discussion, he reach to this point. There are many culprits in India who have done very serious crimes and still living happily without being caught as they are supported and used by politics and the whole India have witnessed many time in the past. Rest in peace. Yakub. My prayers are with you and your family. I do not support terrorist act and killing of innocent. I love India and Indian by all aspect but the duty of human being is to be fair and neutral using all your sense and instincts... We should not be guided by told stories by unknowns without listening by our ears and filtering through minds. Your death has shattered faith in double standard Indian system. As this is in public, I know many would not agree with my thoughts but I do not fear in telling truth came out of my mind and repeat hundred times irrespective of what other think about it. It's easy to get carried away by watching a 40 minutes video of this guy who is playing victim here. Supreme court delebrated on this case for 20 years. There are judges who are qualified more than you to judge whether he was innocent or not.

No body understand in the whole interview who gave the permission to this stupid lady to interview only two weeks after surrender, Same questions again and again like a interrogation officer not a usual interview. He already clearly told that the tension was there in Mumbai, mobs burnt their office and Tiger advised Yakub to leave the country for few days and once the matter settled come back to India. Even though he was not speaking much to his brother in whole life but after analyzing the worst situations around for the sake of family's safety he followed the Tigers advise. For one year he and his family was surrounded by Pakistani guards and mean time he collected as much as information about those people and once the Pakistan got relaxed and started trusting Yakub, Yakub waited for the safe opportunity and came back to his country to disclose the facts....I don't know what are the other evidences but from this definitely he doesn't deserve hanging on his birthday. Is it a justice / revenge ??....and only five years for Sanjay Dutt?? ,,,What a mockery of judicial system....Poltical game..

Not knowing what his brother was upto though living in same house is absolutely acceptable in this world... I absolutely understand his situation...I feel the interviewer is living in a dream world and does not know or understand the world we are living in

Every time I hear this interview, that lady felt screwing the entire interview, perhaps the gentleman felt so calm and cooperating and giving point-black answers. And the interviewer seems to believe that he is a terrorist and she certainly not going to let him prove himself right?? Is this the way the authorities send interviewers to interview like a person accused of heinous crimes and the holder repeating the lines of the accused, itself? Such a substandard exchange of thoughts in a case like this is quite awful!

It's less of an interview and more of an interrogation. A good interviewer is one who asks provocative questions and let the interviewee talk more. Unfortunately, she got carried away by emotions.....
