They had us in the first half, I ain’t gonna lie.
We were beating our self they were just doing a solid job but it was us that wasn't up to par the first half
Gamecocks QB had plenty of time. He just didn't make the plays.
Georgia QB got sacked 2 times by the Gamecocks defense.
I'm an Auburn Tigers fan but I love the SEC. SC played very well the first half. Georgia made some adjustments at the half and getting the ball first and scoring out of the break helped a lot and shifted momentum. Good game. Good comeback win Bulldogs.

Honestly as a dawgs fan kudos to SC for giving us a run for our money at home. Rattler and the gamecocks D came to play and we continue to be sluggish in the first half which is gonna come back to bite us one of these games.
Yeah that's right. Also South Carolina defense sacked Carson Beck 2 times and that was good. Also Spencer Rattler got 8 carries and 35 rushing yards and that was good too. Also Spencer Rattler threw for 256 yards.

As a UGA fan I was scared in the first half, but that second half we showed how we got that DAWG in us!
As a South Carolina fan I wasn't scared in the first half. Because that was a good half for South Carolina. But the second half wasn't all that good because South Carolina didn't score in the second half and that's why.

Because South Carolina scored 7 points last year against Georgia Bulldogs. But this year South Carolina scored 14 points against Georgia Bulldogs and that means South Carolina is improving better year by year.

I doubt he was yelling hard and dirty. He said right as he was going to the locker at half time that he reminded his QB we get the ball first. All be had to do was tell them to settle down down and clean up their play, tackle better, and remember they are the number one team in the nation. Go out and prove it! Doesn't always take yelling. Sometimes it takes finesse and reminding the team, they're the best and need to go show it. Now I said all that but maybe Coach Smart did yell and scream lol.

honestly, This GA team showed of a glimpse of what they can be today. Still need to get it right in practice and clean up these onfield errors but they showed they were a much better team then SC in that 1st half can we put 4 quarters like that together is the ?.

Not complaining but huge holding by #77 for SC first touch down. Slow mode it and it was obvious. All in all, great playing by SC.

Scar made a good account of themselves. It wasn't the utter obliteration most people were expecting. Georgia didn't play both halfs, but a great finish nevertheless.

He played well man. I swear so many dawg fans just don’t know what they are looking at on the Tv screen. They just somehow assume they know better than coaches making millions of dollars. It’s delusional.
Coaching Coaching was the difference maker in this game the Dawgs let's teams show their hands and they take your best shot after that your DEAD they set you up and then squeeze the life outta you .They take away the best part of of your scheme and they wear teams down mentally and physically SC gave up on the run game and played into their 💪 which is the secondary .This team has the best secondary in the nation when playing fully loaded and healthy GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!
The Dawgs have lots of work to do.
I hope this is a learning experience.
Many mistakes,
Secondary playing off their men way to far, way too big of cushion given to receivers.
The results were obvious.
Also the offensive line has to block better.
Guards & Tackles often did pull or pull fast enough to make blocks in time for runners.
Beck misses so much down field as well. This was a scary game to be at.

SC got away with holding on that first TD.
The wide out screen got blown up the first time why do it again. That's one of those burn the clock plays. I really don't understand why a coach would ever call for it.
Rattler has come along way since last years thumping, but if anyone believes the difference in these 2 games has nothing to do with qb play they are dead wrong. When an offense is not executing it does not really matter what the oc is calling. The offense looked to have taken on the energy of there qb. Beck most often than not looks uninterested with an energy that is depleted or non existent. Not to mention hanging on to ball to long and number of throwaway plays is to high. He has all the attributes physically but he does not have the it factor that Stetson gave the offense. But I trust Kirby and the fact he knows better than any of us. Go Dawgs!
SC needs a better quarterback from what I saw today. He really had "happy feet" whenever the defense got close, almost sacking himself.

What was very different about yesterday was the Gamecocks managed a second TD before we had our fourth full possession (and that possession was not until the start of the third quarter) - otherwise the net offensive output was right in line with how we started most games last season, even with the incredible Monken and Stetson.

The new clock rules are what make everybody think we were so much worse than last season, but had the old clock rules been in place, we get our first 5 full possessions in the first half and we are leading 17-14 at the break. People are still talking about it, but nobody is freaking the eff out.

We have all these offensive weapons and we had 0 pass touchdowns today, this is totally unacceptable.....if you don't throw to these guys they'll just transfer elsewhere and I couldn't blame them.....

Just because we didn’t get a passing touchdown doesn’t mean the pass game was playing bad. We have a new starting QB and a new OC having some growing pains is not abnormal.
I’m a Washington fan so go huskies but I have Audric estume heisman frontrunner so far this year, 4 and 0 notre dame fighting Irish running back. This guy averages 8 yards per rush and leads in rushing. If he’s not your heisman frontrunner you suffer from a mental disability. And I have Sam Hartman second heisman front runner, notre dame qb.
Bobo might wanna start going for it on 4th more this kicker doesn't look very reliable. But thats just me

Alabama won by 14 and held South Florida to only a field goal the entire game which is pretty impressive IMO

SoCal didn't pull away from San Jose St. by more than two TDs until the end of the 3rd quarter and they gave up 400 yards offense in that game.
Anyone who want to call Georgia untested until yesterday simply can't point to Michigan as proven better based on their opponents so far. Same with Ohio State.
Tennessee's offense has collapsed - Clemson is fading fast.
FSU only got out of Boston undefeated thanks to a bushel full of unforced errors by 1-1 BC at the end of the 4th quarter.
And don't get me started on the Deion bandwagon - edging a draft-ravaged TCU and then Colorado State would never pass for contender credentials for any other program.

But not when they trail by less than two touchdowns, and then dominate and hold their opponents scoreless in the second half. That was a win, plain and simple. Not a blowout, but a win.
