Golfholics - looking forward to your going back to PB. Crossing my fingers you have a better experience than last time! When you have to pay such exorbitant green fees it is natural to expect the best.
@Quinlan Roche - what changed did Poppy make? I haven’t been there in 20+ years. I played it a couple times back then and quite honestly neither I, nor any of the my playing partners cared much for the layout. Just not a very fun course IMO. Pros who played back when it was part of the the AT&T Pro Am also did not care for the course very much.
Just think how hard Spyglass would be if set up for a Major and you were dead everytime you missed the fairway? :) Same with Pebble, when they are set up for the hackers they don't have any real fangs...Pebble set up for a Major is brutal (like most Majors). Can't imagine how tough Spyglass could be.
After watching videos of what's going on in this world this morning I can truly appreciate the peace and Tranquility that you guys bring to not only me but countless others throughout this nation. I said it before and I'll say it again thank you so much!
100% bucket list. Ever since I saw the course on EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour '03 back in the day, Spyglass has been on my radar. The opening hole deserves particular praise!
It's always about the group I'm playing with. I can play good, or never find the ball with the clubface, but I'll always have fun! Thank God , my supper doesn't depend on my golf game! LOL!! Love watching y'all play.
Watch you guys play 18 gives me nightmares! I had a 10 footer to shoot 71 and I left it one ball rotation short! One of my favorite course though! Great vid!!!
When Big Cat said to coach, I love you man, I was thinking the same thing. You can feel the love among ya'll & it shows in your golf, just the way everyone roots for everybody else. Marko didn't say it but he was thinking what shoeless Joe said: This must be Heaven !!! Nice golfing guys.
Brian Reifeiss - 😂😂. Gotta be tough when playing with your bro who has a such a strong short game. Of course he has a lot more time to practice than you do right?
At least you guys are showing us this course when the PGA Tour plays they only really show Pebble!! Looks excellent and you can tell the deer are used to people since the cross the fairway when you all are playing!! JC's second shot into 16 was sweet!! Cool to see you all enjoying that tough course!!
why do I like the channel so much?......you guys are so humble and supportive of each other. And that's besides the fact, that we get to see some really very well played golf, and learn course management. Thanks guys :-)
17:27 so wholesome! Just discovered this channel and love it. I've been lucky enough to play Spyglass twice (once with Dad, once with the boys) and it really does make you reflect on how lucky you are to just be out there, score doesn't matter. My all-time favorite course I've played.
As always great viewing. Never disappointed and left always wanting more. Thanks for great golf on amazing courses, and for being excellent men. Great job keeping the channel going Coach. We really appreciate all that you do.
Wish I could take the following from the Golfholics fam: Justins driving iron swing Brians driver swing Coachs short game Markos mid range game Putting goes to the ladies and if I had to pick just one it would be Claire but they usually seem more dialed in on the green vs the fellas. Obviously everybody on this channel does the above really well but this is what I wish my golf game had.. Love this channel!
Great video, love watching the boys play. Congrats Marko on the baby and showing the love with Mike, lol. Mike, thanks for keeping the vids coming, much appreciated.
Whoa JC - the sun definitely shown! Marko and Mike owe dinner, but B-Ski has to get you lunch for that performance. As you said, with a venue like Spyglass and good friends, does it really matter what you score? Thanks guys!
Am I watching the channel too much if I can tell it's Coach picking the ball from the hole and all I can see are his feet (that little dipsy-do he does near the hole before picking it up)? My favorite channel on YT. Keep it all rolling, guys. Need some more Claire!
Played Spyglass once , Birdied the first , should have dropped the mike because the rest of the round was no bueno. The course is beautiful , definitely bucket list. Thanks
SpyGlass is cool, but Spanish Bay is better if I am asked. Pebble, Spanish, then SpyGlass. By the way, those animals are the best-fed animals on the planet!!! LOL I got a breakfast sandwich that was DELICIOUS, I took ONE bite and went to putt. I looked up to see three squirrels, and four crows having a gang fight over my food. DO NOT leave any food you want to eat unattended.
Great chips on 15! Tough day for Brian beneath him for sure :) but everyone else heald there own!! What a fun day thanks for bring it to us, playing Arcadia Bluffs in Michigan next week, you should come and see it!
Hey. Really love watching your vids. Played Spy in January. Im a 10 but Parred 3, 4, 6, 12,15,18, birdied 10. The Monterey Bay golf is magic. My favorite is Spanish Bay. Beautiful, though Spy is more of 'players' course. Love Poppy, Pebble, Black Horse/BayonetKeep up the good work!
The back is a different experience. With cart path only and just a rough course to begin with, it can really drag you down if your energy is getting low. Not as visually appealing as the front but still outstanding.
BSKI - Lots of resorts pull the carts on paths only baloney to cut down on maintenance costs and keep the course “looking” pretty. The result is rounds that can take 5 hours of more and frustrating golfers. Given the choice I would agree that walking would provide a much better and more rewarding golfing experience. Unfortunately some upscale courses won’t let people walk claiming it slows down rounds. This of course is total bs. The only reason they do this is because of the revenue they make from the carts.
so jelly! great round, looked fun yet challenging. Avg joe would score well over 90s or more esp with wind but enjoyed watching these experts get humbled (+6-12) by SGH!
What was Justin's lie like on his approach shot on 16? That shot was incredible and thought he made it! Think it might be added to the "Best shots of 2020" video!
I love watching your VLOGS on these courses, you get a feel for how difficult the courses/greens are. A good example is Shadow Creek. When Tiger/Phil played you got no appreciation on how difficult the greens are. When are you going to play Wolf Creek. It looks like an awesome course?
Nice video y'all! Coach such a great driver swing with good balance. But review this video and watch how almost every approach shot has you falling off the ball....hoping this helps in the pursuit we all have: better golf!
As a putter who misses on the "amateur side" of the hole ALL the time, I like watching guys such as yourselves doing the same. Makes me feel good. LOL - ALSO - man, what a BEAUTIFUL course. Definitely on my bucket list.
Absolutely Love Spyglass for all the spectacular holes to play! Awesome course vlog and entertaining match to watch on the front and back 9. Would love if you guys watched my latest video at Hacienda Golf Club in So. Cal. and let me know what you think. Maybe even tee it up one day for a vid! th-cam.com/video/x0zzos-be-M/w-d-xo.html
Mike how you liking that mavrik...looking to replace my st190g and went and tested to drivers....didn’t even look at mavrik until the guy said try this...it wasn’t the longest but it was 30yards longer than speedzone on misshits
All the holes are named after characters/places from the book Treasure Island (1883) by Robert Louis Stevenson. From Scotland, he stayed in the area in the late 1870's. The course name is taken from the book.
Is Spyglass on your bucket list?? Dont forget to turn on the notification bell🛎 and Pebble beach vlog comes out next Monday
Looks amazing, just a tad long from Sweden. =)
do you guys ever play Poppy Hills? Im a fan of it's rework
Golfholics - looking forward to your going back to PB. Crossing my fingers you have a better experience than last time! When you have to pay such exorbitant green fees it is natural to expect the best.

and it's JC for the WIN !!!!!!!!!
after this I think JC's odds will drop from 50-1 to 5-1...so stoked the man is playing some great golf, his back nine was exceptional
Jcs approach on the 16th was unreal.
After watching videos of what's going on in this world this morning I can truly appreciate the peace and Tranquility that you guys bring to not only me but countless others throughout this nation. I said it before and I'll say it again thank you so much!
U guys set the bar on the Tube
Love this course and we will definitely be back!! We were very lucky with the weather. What a great experience.
Great round JC. We see you.
i think you should call yourselves the philosopher golfers. i appreciated your heartfelt expression of love for one another.
THANKS COACH AND THE GOLFHOLICS FAMILY FOR THE EXCELLENT CONTENT!!
Big Cat droppin them truth bombs... time with best friends on a beautiful course really puts things in perspective.
Cold windy day in Birmingham you guys always make it sunny great vid as usual stay safe .......
I wouldn't say coach playing with the very talented and equally beautiful Paris was doing the heavy lifting . Lucky boy .
I definitely was thinking the same thing... Big shout out to Paris!
Marko said it perfectly; I felt the same way. I forgot how bad my score was because I got so lost with how in love with that course I was.
Thanks for keeping the channel going, Coach. I love watching you guys!
Great video, great course, and great back 9 JC. Dude can lay down the lumber.
have I mentioned before how much I love JC? Glad to see him on the channel so much as of recent.
100% bucket list. Ever since I saw the course on EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour '03 back in the day, Spyglass has been on my radar. The opening hole deserves particular praise!
Just a fantastic way of spending half an hour with you guys, thanks. Congrats to Bski and JC too great comeback near the end.
Jc was absurdddddy good, mans can pump it
Bring on Pebble! Can’t wait for that video.
It's always about the group I'm playing with. I can play good, or never find the ball with the clubface, but I'll always have fun! Thank God , my supper doesn't depend on my golf game! LOL!! Love watching y'all play.

everyone roots for everybody else. Marko didn't say it but he was thinking what shoeless Joe said: This must be Heaven !!! Nice golfing guys.
Love that intro! And hopefully we will get another crack at an attempt of taming this beast of a course
The good news is that your luck can’t get any worse B! I think you got every bad bounce and break possible.
@@danmyers9372 gotta take the good with the bad. My short game makes me vomit in my mouth. 🤪🤢🤮
Brian Reifeiss - 😂😂. Gotta be tough when playing with your bro who has a such a strong short game. Of course he has a lot more time to practice than you do right?
@@brianreifeiss9381 Your swing is as smooth and effortless looking as they come Brian, definitely something to envy!
Amazing video Golfholics!! At 22:26 JC flying by you guys in the cart was hillarious in the background;)
Excellent bro moment between you two! Love the rapport the four of you have together.
Marko getting emotional over Bambi and Mama, getting bromantic with Coach. A baby at home will bring out a man’s heart!
Stellar video...and views. Only thing missing is...Paris! Well done boys!
The most sentimental golf video I have ever seen on TH-cam - by far. But the course is worth it. 😆 😄
At least you guys are showing us this course when the PGA Tour plays they only really show Pebble!! Looks excellent and you can tell the deer are used to people since the cross the fairway when you all are playing!! JC's second shot into 16 was sweet!! Cool to see you all enjoying that tough course!!
Way to go JC low round.
all 4 of you crushing that driver. Great to watch.
why do I like the channel so much?......you guys are so humble and supportive of each other. And that's besides the fact, that we get to see some really very well played golf, and learn course management. Thanks guys :-)
Hard to believe that of 72 holes you only made 2 birdies (Justin). Must be a tough course. Great fun though.
17:27 so wholesome! Just discovered this channel and love it. I've been lucky enough to play Spyglass twice (once with Dad, once with the boys) and it really does make you reflect on how lucky you are to just be out there, score doesn't matter. My all-time favorite course I've played.
JC WINS! How many of you put down some money and are getting that sweet 50/1 payout?!
Kent Young - JC played great. Nice job JC!
JC played well, good to see him benefiting from those drives.
As always great viewing. Never disappointed and left always wanting more. Thanks for great golf on amazing courses, and for being excellent men. Great job keeping the channel going Coach. We really appreciate all that you do.
Wish I could take the following from the Golfholics fam:

Love this channel!
Great video, love watching the boys play. Congrats Marko on the baby and showing the love with Mike, lol. Mike, thanks for keeping the vids coming, much appreciated.
Beautiful course, tough conditions, guys having fun priceless
big up Mike for keeping the uploads coming
Loved that golf course this was a great vlog guys
Marko with insane par clutch putts!
Whoa JC - the sun definitely shown! Marko and Mike owe dinner, but B-Ski has to get you lunch for that performance. As you said, with a venue like Spyglass and good friends, does it really matter what you score? Thanks guys!
Magnificent. That nine is even better than the first nine. Must agree with coach about hole 14.
Am I watching the channel too much if I can tell it's Coach picking the ball from the hole and all I can see are his feet (that little dipsy-do he does near the hole before picking it up)? My favorite channel on YT. Keep it all rolling, guys. Need some more Claire!

Huge fan guys and love the vlog at Spyglass! Probably my favorite to date . Keep up the great work , love the channel!
That shot on 16 though 🔥🔥🔥
My kind of reality TV! Great team, great work.
Great course and some great scores and loads of fun - great entertainment!
Back at it again with yet another good video. Keep em’ coming!
Another great video....can't wait for Pebble!!!
SpyGlass is cool, but Spanish Bay is better if I am asked. Pebble, Spanish, then SpyGlass. By the way, those animals are the best-fed animals on the planet!!! Pebble front 9 video starts tomorrow then SB next week!
Love your course vlogs. This one was no exception 😃
Cheers, boys!
Great video lads. Course looks on a different level to what we play here in the UK.
Course is beautiful, that was fun to watch👍
7:30 I was rooting for JC so much I woke my wife up when it missed 😂
Played it death on TW PGA TOUR, what a beautiful golf course, great job guys.
Playing this track tomorrow. Can’t wait!!!
Great video. Tuff conditions. Always good.👍🏌⛳🇺🇸😀
Great chips on 15! Tough day for Brian beneath him for sure :) but everyone else heald there own!! What a fun day thanks for bring it to us, playing Arcadia Bluffs in Michigan next week, you should come and see it!

After watching this nice video.
I wish I can go play this beautiful course right now
The back is a different experience. With cart path only and just a rough course to begin with, it can really drag you down if your energy is getting low. Not as visually appealing as the front but still outstanding.
100% agree. I will never be riding in a cart again if its cart path only. Waste of time and energy running back and forth
BSKI - Lots of resorts pull the carts on paths only baloney to cut down on maintenance costs and keep the course “looking” pretty. Coach is doing great...but give credit where it's due..Paris has filled in wonderfully! (Paige and Claire too)!
JC for the win! 50:1
great job guys sweettttttttttttttt
so jelly! great round, looked fun yet challenging. Avg joe would score well over 90s or more esp with wind but enjoyed watching these experts get humbled (+6-12) by SGH!
O Marko hoje jogou mesmo golf !!! Marko did realy played golf today !!!
Business must be booming for Bski! Still a hell of a good guy and player though!
Nothing better than a nice toe hook rocket lol
What was Justin's lie like on his approach shot on 16? That shot was incredible and thought he made it! Think it might be added to the "Best shots of 2020" video!
What did you guys do with JC? Great round JC, way to show them how to do it!
Amazing job as always
Love you guys! 😄

been waiting all morning !
Back nine of Spyglass hill GC. That’s where the course shows it’s teeth.
I need a shirt that says, “what a golf shot, that was”
Dan Yoo Yeah, Most used in every Vlog from Coach 👍🏼!
Dan Yoo - That or “its just a bit right” as it misses the green by 30 yards or the back handed “OK...”.
Dan Myers “coach...swooping it in...looks good”
Dan Yoo „ ... nice up and down …“
lol
Awesome video. Best golf channel on TH-cam But what happened to your Pechanga video?
Absolutely Love Spyglass for all the spectacular holes to play! Awesome course vlog and entertaining match to watch on the front and back 9.
Would love if you guys watched my latest video at Hacienda Golf Club in So. Cal. and let me know what you think. Maybe even tee it up one day for a vid!

love to see these iconic courses...wish the quality of play was better...
Doing all that Heavy lifting is causing Coach to go a bit prematurely gray! I see dem whiskers bro!
Mike how you liking that mavrik...looking to replace my st190g and went and tested to drivers....didn’t even look at mavrik until the guy said try this...it wasn’t the longest but it was 30yards longer than speedzone on misshits
Play Quail valley lodge or Quail valley ranch in carmel. Hard to find fairways and greens as pure as theirs. Just saying, its a hidden gem.
Marco getting the Dad-bod! Go carnivore keto ASAP, OMD and fast 48h 1xweek and it will go away & golf will improve too! It’s magical.
All the holes are named after characters/places from the book Treasure Island (1883) by Robert Louis Stevenson. From Scotland, he stayed in the area in the late 1870's. The course name is taken from the book.
Are you guys going to do Bayonet like you mentioned in part 1?
Remember! Like b4 you watch. You’ll do it anyway so save yourself some time!
@17:27 - and we love golfholics!!
Sick intro. Great edits.
I haven't played golf in years (and miss it).. Is pulling the pin out no longer in vogue? Sure seems to speed up the pace leaving it in.
Not touching the flag sticks during Covid season
@6:15 what a shot 👌
Good morning Golfholics.
