On the "snowflake" it has low fan speed and barely warm air. On "TP" it has high fan speed and higher heat. On "II" it has same fan speed as "TP" but more heat.
It is overheating and activating the protection. Maybe hair has got into the fan area and the fan is spinning slower than it should. Take it to a repair shop or use the warranty, if you have one.

Mine also turns off in the middle of use and doesn't turn on again
Does it rurn on afrer cooling down? In that case it trips the overhearing protection.
