1. Shore Diving: If you are a certified diver and looking for affordable scuba diving in Cozumel grab a buddy and head to Tikila Restaurant & Bar. We have heard and agree that this is the best shore diving in Cozumel. Here you will find beautiful corals, artificial reefs and monuments (you may even spot Jacques Cousteau & Sylvia Earle)! It is a wonderful place to get your fins wet if you’ve been out of the water for a bit, a great place to practice photography and even do a Discover Scuba Dive!
2. Boat Diving: If you’re looking the best scuba diving in Cozumel you have to go from a boat! To reach the best dive sites in Cozumel you need to book a trip out in the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park where you can scuba dive on the 2nd largest reef in the world - The Mesoamerican Reef! We had the chance to dive on the Felipe Xicotencatl C-53 Wreck followed up with a beautiful reef dive! The visibility, amount of marine life and abundant healthy corals is a divers dream!

I haven’t been certified so I really enjoyed the shore dive. You just show up and they take you under their wing. I always have a great time. Last time I was there, we were handed a spear gun to spear the lion fish. Cozumel is a second home to me and I mostly snorkel
I would love to be in Cozumel right now, I’m taking care of my mother so I’m not going anywhere. Luckily, my mom is so sweet. Next time I get there, I’ll get my open water very, I can’t wait. Have a wonderful trip. 😁

Thanks so much! We don’t have out big underwater camera and stobe with us but the GoPro has been doing a great job. Luckily the dive shop let us borrow their light so it worked out great! It is unbelievable but the diving is just that good there!

I wouldn’t be able to choose between reef or ship wreck! A ship wreck would be awesome because of the mystery of it but reefs are beautiful. I have never been scuba diving though. Awesome video! What are u guys using for the underwater stuff?

Lucky you Dru! The diving was amazing and we really enjoyed our time on the island! I used a go pro hero 9 with a 800 lumen light. In shallow water it was not necessary and if the vis is good and the sun is out you should be fine! Enjoy your dives!
