@Al Mal Oh no, he was the narrator during the events of Prince Harry's wedding. It was just out of the blue where he said her car looked like a Hyundai and was funny because the Queen wouldn't even look at a Hyundai. Much less, ride in one.
Yes, shes the queen, but the ruler part today is really only ceremonial. Her rule is more about her role in setting an example on etiquette, manners and all good things the british look up to. When I was preteen Kennedy was president and the first lady. Jacqueline also in her ways and ib upbringing. set an example for all to follow. We were taught in my home at least the inportance of sitting at table as family at least on sunday and a day to ride to visit a grandparent and taught how to behave. If traveling abroad, we were dressed in our best. It wasnt snobbery, as children, we were reminded by our parents that we too represented the family in public places. We never spoke nor believed someone should be 'killed' because you didnt like them. BUT THATS THE MENTALITY TODAY. I pity your children by your example and fear for society's future as people with thoughts like yours is bringing the ruin of nations who have survived by tradition and family values so just be happy by staying away,
I have to push back on "only ceremonial." The constitution gives the government *no* way around the sovereign as commander in chief of the armed forces, and the only reason that Parliament is "supreme" is because the Queen is a constitutional part of Parliament. It's a very important ongoing constitutional requirement that there is no law passed without Royal Assent, and sometimes no proposed law can even get its first reading without Queen's Consent aforesaid. It's very important that the government has to deal with this, because it is in fact a kind of ultimate democracy, that one little person with one little person's common sense and love of the country can put the government on hold when it is required. Remember that during the conflict in Iraq, the Queen withheld Queen's Consent for the reading of a bill that would have limited the government's ability to conduct that war while it was going on. The sovereign's prerogative powers are very important.
I think Bentley should given this Bentley for her golden anniversary but the Bentley in no way should of been paid out of tax payers money also it hardly gets used anymore I have also heard all royal cars bodyguard vehicles are being changed over too bio fuel which is great but my question who is fitting the bill my guess is the UK gov I suspect I think its about time our gov stop paying any money to our royal family as they can look after themselves quite well for sometime also over time the queen has invested in quite big company names and and sell royal family name through various products and sell ing very well in various places in UK and in their palaces and online. I also ask myself what percentage of roof and piping maintenance of £125 million is our queen paying towards the big bill I suspect not a lot I suspect But regarding wills and Charles coming king they are very much for looking after themselves so they say at the moment it will be interesting to see how the royal family blossom over next 20 years all I can say is wait and see I hope both princes stick to what they say if out of both of them I belief wills will stopping the pevi purse and Charles wont and he will be put in immense pressure too abdicate anyhow as not many uk people including myself have much respect for him what's happened in the past royal family have respect for Charles marrying Camilla but not many uk public don't look at very little crowd waiting outside from winsor castle to registrar office not many lol to me that saids it all lol to me Dan
