Not a whole lot of people are aware that the whole purpose of Arkham Origins was to buy time for Arkham Knight, which took four years to make. They only had two years to make Origins, and in that brief amount time, they did a really good job for the most part. I'm one of the ones who actually love this game. It's the not the best out of the Arkham Games, but it ain't the worst either.

The game had an interesting story, great gameplay, great characters and world design and expansion as well as the best dlc of the whole franchise. I'm curious, what are your reasons to call Origins "mediocre at best"?
i really liked origins, i think its my favorite of all the arkham games, its definitely my favorite batman as personality goes, in this game hes way more brutal then the other games, and it is my favorite bat suit for sure
@Csumbi Yeah man, Origins is the better Arkham game, and had the best bat-suit. Awesome game and awesome plot. Arkham Knight I liked the less of all in the series, besides it comes after this beauty so, the bar was too high.
Man, Arkham Origins is so underrated. People didn't accept it because they think that there was nothing new, and because they expect a bigger game. But the truth is that, it is game is big. There is many new stuff, interesting open world and amazing cutscenes with amazing acting. And do i have to talk about boss fights in this game? They are awsome! Even Arkham Knight didn't done anything close to Arkham Origins. Like, Deathstroke boss battle, Bane boss battle, Firefly boss battle and every other boss battle - they are all entertaining in this game. So yeah, people should give this game a chance to shine. Even despite many years. My only problem with this game is technical aspect of it. Cause, even the "Complete Edition" of this game, has too many technical problems that needed to be fixed. But, other than that, this game is awsome.
One thing I love about this game is how WB remade the combat. It's similar to City but different. Aside from Knight, Origins is probably the only one that has enemies that can actually counter Batman's attacks. Like the ninja dudes they added in Origins. I personally loved fighting them cuz it shows a different fighting side that Batman had when he was in his early years. Kinda wish they had kept the ninja guys for Knight instead the sword ninjas. & The Batman's beatdown move is O.P. in this game bruh and how loud the critical strikes can be
Origins is easily the second best Batman game behind Arkham City. But it has a lot better of a story than City, and the map is better too although the environment lacks enough grapnel points for how big and tall the city is.
See Jon Favreau? You weren't the first to do the vr thing. Surfs Up did it too and it's still animation. It's not exactly "live action" like you were saying for the Lion King, JON. Heck, if anything, this is more live action because of the mocap, but it's still a form of animation, JON.

Amazing game I love it so much I wanted an Arkham Origins 2 showing the origin of the complete batfamily the 4 Robins + Batgirl/Oracle And new Origins of new Villains like: Ra's Al ghul and his daughter Talia Al ghul and the League of Assassins were the main Villains of the second game Catwoman Origns Two Face Origns Mr.freeze Origns Riddler's Origins Clayface Origins Scarecrow Origins Ivy Poison Origns Maroni and Falcone mafia gang war Origns Harleyquinn Origins Ratcatcher Origns Ventriloquist/Scarface Origns Victor Zas Origns Solomon Grundy Origns And finally Hugo Strange Origns And with the return of some villains from the first game like: Copperhead,Black Mask my favorite villain,Penguin,Killer Croc A wronged villain who deserved better,Shiva,Bane,Mad hatter,Firefly,Anarky,Joker And the legendary ones Deathshot and Deathstroke It would be amazing a shame it will never happen 😢🤧 like and bye!

The game industry is far from in the shitter there is nothing wrong with cutscenes in games.
You need mocap actors to make the movements and characters feel more real and emotive...
