It's not a fluke, that most independent tank experts, rate the Russian Federation T90, as the top, most capable modern tank in the world. Of course, many of them admire the Russian Armata heavyweight tank as well...but the Armata hasn't got the real world records of the new modern T90s..the B series, which all heavy Russian tanks have been brought up to. The new, modern B series T80s and T72, are arguably better than the T90s, in certain terrains and conditions. The T80 Bs,are certainly better in colder winter snow and ice conditions, with their turbine engines which can be powered by petrol, diesel, or gas...no problem, and are very fast. But they consume more energy, as a down side effect. However, Russia has no problem with energy supplies.
Then, we have the modern Russian T72, Bs... which have proven their worth against any western armour, that they faced. So, this Russian heavy tank troika, has proven it's worth, many times on the battlefields of the world. In Ukraine alone, they are the most feared, from the famous Russian, very diverse and battle harden platoons, involving, light and heavy tanks, low flying modern Su 25s, and the Russian attack helicopters, within special tank support troops on the ground. You won't see, the Russians launching offensive actions, outside that platoon formation. The western armour gets defeated everytime. Only hard core Washington supporters haven't woken up to the reality of the many Russian victories in Ukraine.. which owe that this tank platoon formation...and of course to the new B series of modern heavy tanks.
