    Thanks for the video! I was wondering, how did you cover up the joint in the arm holding up the weight? It looks like you have some kind of patch covering up the elbow joint, but I can't find out how that works. Would you like to explain?

      Hi. I covered this in the previous week's video. Here's a link to it, in the full playlist. Enjoy: th-cam.com/video/QVqybq68K4k/w-d-xo.html

    Best method for 2D game animation 😊

      I've not made animation for games, but you'll likely want turn on pencil mode on the brush, so you don't draw with anti aliasing. And you'll choose your canvas size to match the characters.

    Opentoonz has a lot more rigging options than I realized when I first started using it! Thanks for the tutorials. :)

      You're welcome Ryan. There's a few ways to rig in OpenToonz and I'm only showing the ones I know of. I'm sure there's more ways to skin that cat.

      How are you rotating it? If you just rotate using the animate tool you won't see any flattening.

      Itu tampak normal bagi saya. Saya tidak melihat ada yang salah dengan hal itu. Lengan kanan karakter Anda tampak lebih sejajar, sehingga Anda tidak dapat melihat penggabungannya dengan mudah. Ini adalah sesuatu yang sulit untuk dilakukan. Dibutuhkan banyak latihan untuk menyelaraskannya. Secara pribadi, cara terbaik yang saya temukan untuk melakukannya adalah dengan memindahkan titik tengah ke siku, sehingga siku selalu sejajar dengan tepat.

    is this different in 1.6? I attach them to the correct vertex in schematic view and there is no movement at all

    • @chriseatsgood2819
      @chriseatsgood2819 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      never mind i was using the vertex number after the underscore so i was attaching them to an incorrect vertex

    • @DarrenTAnims
      @DarrenTAnims  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chriseatsgood2819 Glad you found it. It's an easy mistake to make. And one that we'd all avoid if the vertices were numbered correctly. It's a shame they're shown off by 1.

    no one talk about plastic too only for raster level

      @@StickyLabDev That's right. It converts it to raster to be able to manipulate it. But it would be converted to raster in the final render anyway.

    can we save pose in open toonz like blender ?

    • @DarrenTAnims
      @DarrenTAnims  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't use Blender, but each drawing is saved in the level, so you can re-use it as much as you need to.

    • @DarrenTAnims
      @DarrenTAnims  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@amitmishra6904 if its for the same character, you can save the character as a sub xsheet and reload that into other scenes. If it's just the pose, you can't really save that on its own, but if you save the character as a sub xsheet, you can import it and replace the drawings, keeping the pose.
