The first tune is called Fjellvåk, which means mountain bird
This has stirred my emotions and transported me back home to North East England. Stunningly beautiful tunes many thanks.....
This music gives me hope for civilization.
Me too, as hard as it sometimes to believe it.
Once the religion of peace takes over you can be assured this barbarous noise will be snuffed out.

Just beautiful, the acoustics give it an ethereal quality.
Best bagpipe video in my playlist. SO much talent. Well done!! ❤👍
The thoughts I had. Never will I have thoughts like that again. Again, never again.
Fantastic! Loved the acoustics, too
the sound is amazing, the instrument lends well to churches' accoustic
Wow, that was beautiful. Really enjoyed that.
This music blows my mind and takes me back to a time i wasn't even alive.
Hard to explain but i know what i mean a natural state of being.
Maybe something to do with growing up by the sea and on the sea in Suffolk
This is beautiful piping! It calms the soul.
The sound of the drone (is that what its called?) under the tune is so hypnotic it could lull one into a trance. A beautiful relaxing lament!
Yes, it is. The acoustics of the right hall make it even better. Some buildings are sublime.
One learns new things everyday ,so enjoyed this
Truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing this with us. magical
superb! I could listen to this forever!
I had it on repeat for ages
Beautiful piece of music, I Remember the pipe makers work shop in Longframlington when I was a Young’n, sadly I think it’s a hairdresser’s now, not sure theirs anyone in the county making Northumbrian pipes now ?
Stunning and haunting , thank you
Beautiful!
My north my England my Newcastle 🖤🤍🖤🤍🇬🇧
Beautiful
Beautiful and moving in every respect
Inspiring.
Excellent...subscribed...
Splendid listening very nice
great piping!
good acoustics
Alors là !
Does anyone know the first tune they play together?
Any idea what pitch sets of of Northumbrian pipes these are ? So beautiful
They're in F+, traditional tuning for these pipes, which is a slightly sharp F but not F#
@@ormirian7364 The sets Andy & Andy play here are actually in F# proper - a fairly common pitch for historical pipes, and still favoured by some solo pipers today.
This is very beautiful. Can anyone tell me the title of the first tune played by Andy Watchorn?
The first tune is written by one of the Nordic Fiddler's Bloc - Title translates as "Mountain Bird" th-cam.com/video/dp5Z5OHPMc0/w-d-xo.html
Nordic Fiddler's Bloc came to Seattle a few years back. Phenomenal players! @@jaqcov
What is the name of the second tune? Where can I find the notes?
What is the second tune played when the second guy comes in?
Great! Can anyone advise the name of the first tune?
Wonderful.
Anyone know the tunes after the opener (Fjellvåk)?
What were those tunes called?
This is wonderful, any chance of the playlist of music?
Just one sounds a little too abrupt and jagged for me, but two playing together creates a wonderful jovial atmosphere
What is the first tune called anyone?
Pretty sure it's Fjellvåk - there's a version by the Nordic Fiddlers Bloc on YT
By a crackling fireplace drinking guinness enjoy
A LARGE single malt for me please...
All is not lost, whoever Normoan is he didn't win
The pipes sound sweet, but the repetition of the music makes it extremely boring.
I don't think it's boring. But for sure are your ears bored.
@@denisbudbud Straight through from one to the other?
You're missing the slight variations in each repetition then? Try listening a bit harder.
