Conan makes it sound like he was kind of an extra sort-of 'throwaway' kid. Tucked nicely in the middle so as to avoid closer scrutiny. Sounds nice, actually.

There was a little detail that was pointed out to me, that really shocked me, about Randall Park in Wanda Vision.
In the Ant Man movie, Paul Rudd did card tricks for his kid, and Park's character asks him to teach him one.
Then, when he's introduced in Wanda Vision, he does the card trick for his business card.
I just loved that attention to detail.
Loved the running gag of him being super serious and not dumbing down the conversation when talking to ant-man's little girl

In a way it is, conan' parents probably wanted him to do whatever he studied for and not waste his degree on comedy, in a similar way Park's parents probably wanted him to get a degree and not waste opportunity on comedy
