What a great team. By far the best season of Mizzou football I ever watched. Miss that team.
Yep, and with a RS freshman Matt Mauk. Franklin was and IS the most underrated Qb to ever play at Mizzou.

Can't stop watching this video. I may watch this a thousand times between now and fall kickoff.
Not sure you will see a Mizzou team this good ever again. We had the most balanced offense ever at 3330 rushing yards and 3540 passing yards. Our defense was legendary, like literally, I feel like the entire defense went pro in the first round. The special teams was incredible (baggot missed that double OT fg for our only regular season loss but he was 66/69 on the year) and marcus murphy omg he was a god on special teams. We screwed up the USC game when we were up 17 in the 4th and ended up losing, and Auburn got crazy lucky at the end of the season and beat Tenn and Bama on miracles and pulled off something weird against us (we allowed like 150 yards rushing per game all year and they put up like 350 on us ...? stack the box pinkle, my gawd) otherwise we would have went to national title game. Such a good team.

Teams like Missouri an South Carolina have inspired the nation by turning around from being unranked teams to becoming scary powerhouses.
Best college team ever to play tbh just missed plays that we could've capitalized on and we would've won a title

Every one blames Baggett for the S. Carolina loss, but the defense allowed the gamecocks to score a TD on a 4th & 24 in OT. That was more embarrassing than a missed FG
+Bryan Buer I know our defense blew that game we had that one won because it was 4th and 24 but we blew it
I still like the old school Missouri helmets and uniforms but my loyalty remains the same!
Think about it, if we win the South Carolina game, we would’ve been #2 the next day, and would’ve been #1 in the conference title
But would have still lost. That number means nothing the SEC West is far superior to the East outside a few UGA teams
