Very excited to do security forces! I ship out 11/30 and starting as a E3. Been grinding at the gym and with BFM requirements I’m at 17% , body weight 187 5’7. Very excited!
@@abdirisakahmed1442 depends if you have college or I guess jrotc I believe or do a 6 year contract. But you get E-3 after tech school I believe if you do a 6 year contract.
@@brianlira36 I did a 4 year, It’s just i had an associates degree so with those credits I start as a E-3 when tech school begins. Now SF, it depends on what base you get. Some may be stricter as others, like my base is prob one of the easiest and laidback comparing to others. But In all honesty I say aim higher on the ASVAB and get a better job. Im cross training next year to a new afsc.
@@Quiznos67 Oh ok I see, starting of as E-3 sounds amazing. I hear ya brother! I’ve had SecFo as a last resort option. Everyone has had mixed opinions on it mostly negative so it changed my mind lol. I’m thinking of going into the aircraft maintenance field, I’m striving for a crew chief position hopefully on the F-15s but ill take what I can get tbh. Just want to be out there with the aircraft, not stuck in the office or on a post. I’m currently just waiting on my MEPS date, hopefully everything goes good!
It's crazy I was born and raised in Valdosta. I've been on Moody before and I hope I get stationed there too after basic. I'm also enlisting as Security Forces.
Maurice Banks This job is pretty easy to get into. You will need a 31 on the ASVAB, have a drivers license, a qualifying physical and take a personality test. If you pass all of these, you can be doing this job man. Good luck.
Some dorms have them from previous members who lived there. But it isn’t a mandatory thing for the Air Force. So if you want one, most likely you’d have to buy it yourself. Good luck
You, you should look into using a blue tooth microphone. Sometimes it's hard to hear you. Other than that thanks for the vid. Really considering joining
Tajianne Kaiser you won’t need a polygraph normally for this job. But if you end up on some classified location, with a secret mission (which is highly unlikely), you might need a polygraph. But everyone requires a security clearance when joining the Air Force. Some are higher than others. Good luck
There are designated deployment flights at least at the base I was stationed at. Delta flight was the one I was on. We deployed twice in two years. Once to Saudi and once to Kosovo.
This depends on your base and your mission. It can be pretty frequent or not frequent at all. But no one can predict what your mission will be. I hope this helps.
Have you ran into anyone in security forces that are in the Air Guard? Also keep up the work appreciate the videos a lot of information and answered a lot of my questions about SF.
So usually regular shift are about 8-10hrs which isn’t bad but because of this whole covid-19 out break my base pushed us into 12-14hr shifts I’m not to sure on what other bases are doing but it’s pretty much the same thing most of the time for security forces across the board
You will need a 31 on the ASVAB, have a drivers license, have a qualifying physical at MEPS and take a personality test. If you pass all of this, you’re recruiter can get you the job. Next you have to pass all the training, and you’re in there man. Good luck
Not going to lie there are some slow days your know so you got to make the best of it but honestly when nothing bad goods wrong and it’s quite those are the best days
Working with my recruiter and getting ready for BMT because of you! Thank you for your service, homie.
