I recently obtained my driver's license, even though I didn't pass the test myself. After failing the test three times due to nervousness, I inquired about the DMV test process and eventually hired a licensed test drive specialist. The specialist helped me get my license. I expected to receive a provisional license since I hadn't taken the test, but to my surprise, I was issued a Class D license.
This made me feel a lot better. I'm 18 and I failed my knowledge test twice because there were a lot of family situations going on. Now I am having to move out and I'm struggling because I have my 3rd test tomorrow and I'm working my butt off to pass it. These things are so dang expensive I've spent 100 dollars on them. But I'm glad its not just me who gets so nervous that it messes it all up. You gave me some comfort there tysmmm
Your number 13 has to be wrong. If you are going to make a turn (changing lanes as you imply) you have to signal to change lanes. By default that will usually be the same direction as your turn. So I would signal first and change lanes as needed when it is safe to do so.
I have flunked the test twice now, so I need to study hard for my next try, but I remember one question with basically what does this sign mean (it was a no u-turn sign) and so I marked the answer no u-turn and it was wrong and said that the correct answer was no turns. Is there a situation where a no u-turn sign means no turns? I have looked in the book, put the question out on google and I do not get that answer that a no u-turn sign means no turns.
@dmvwrittentest2024 🙏 thank you! The tests for the renewal are super difficult. I've already failed twice and those two topics I brought up were asked in the test.
@dmvwrittentest2024 I passed my renewal test with 1 error. I was aloud 5 mistake. I thought it was 4. One of the questions I remember was, " What's the minimum room should you have to pass safely before a hill?" " Who can use a disabled placard" the rest were pretty much straightforward.
The answer to question #19 is also wrong. Ca. booklet says to turn your wheels towards the curb whether you are going up or downhill. Who made up this test? a 6 year old?
Please re read the question, there are no any mistakes in questions and answers: Downhill: turn the wheels toward the curb. Uphill: turn the wheels away from the curb. No Curb: turn the wheels toward the shoulder of the road.
7:58 and what do you do when you TURN into the proper lane before turning? SIGNALS 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Wtf. If you weren't able to pass the test then you shouldn't be allowed to drive. It's shit like this that proves there is no equality in this world.

Good luck with it
Sometimes I feel some instructors tend to fail or so we can keep on lining their pockets
sounds as if we both be in the same shoes I been unlucky twice and I’m actually fed up tbh 😵how can I reach out to the test drive professional please?

It’s saying WARNING if there’s a road hazard/traffic in front of you not to “signal to change lanes”
The hill tire parking should always indicate the front or rear of the front tire.
Thank you very much! It's helpful !
Question 15 is kinda contradictive in my opinion. Wouldnt you have to use your turn signal even before entering the proper lane before the turn?
Ya I think it's 100 feet from your turn

Love the helpful explanation.Thanks
Thanks for your valuable feedback!!
The answer to # 17 is wrong. If you look in the Ca. booklet it says it takes 400 feet to stop your car traveling at 55 MPH not 300 feet.
400 feet for large vehicle, and 300 feet for car or other vehicles
15 gotta be wrong right
How is the handicap sign a hard question ? Yooo
If these questions help me pass my written test tomorrow ill fosho be back to sub
did u pass
