Very nice set up ! You asked for suggestions, so here's mine - instead of taking the shortest path between your speakers and your table - get longer cables and take them from the speakers back in a straight line to the same horizontal level as your totems (or all the way to the back wall if it's close like it is in this video). Then take them at a 90 degree angle turn towards the totems and finally only then around the totems and back towards your dj table. That way your cables become nearly invisible to the audience (especially with 2 subwoofers...), while the way you're doing it now - it's very visible and might be the least attractive part (if not the only unattractive part) of the entire set up. It takes a couple of more minutes, requires getting longer cables, but will look much much better :)
@@DjTravisNey thank you so much.... I been looking for a good one..... and they work but.... I like more yours....jeje...... thank you.....!!!!! Aaaaa I follow you now.... check my channel...... thanks
The airstream DMX box creates the WiFi signal you need for the iPad. After that the lights either communicate with the airstream wirelessly or you run a wire to them
Hello TN, How are you? I am a Dj in Massachusetts so I would like to know how you make the uplights work with the moving light. Perhaps, those uplights have an app to use for uplights and ADJ DMX has software also so How do you make it work together? By the way, Nice set up man.
@@jasontownsend1764 so that one is only if I want to have 2 computers that pull pics or videos from. If you are just running One computer you don’t need that piece. I’m not sure if I’m going to need it because I plan on using my second computer for VJing and slideshows.
@@DjTravisNey awesome. Thank you again. What program are you using to display? I'm just getting into monograms and that's my plan, to use the TVs for digital monograms
Hey Travis.. I realize this video is over two years old and that I am late to the party but are you still DJ’ing in the Hershey area? I actually live next door in Palmyra and have been building a system. Could use some advice on a few things. I will not be competing with you as this is just a hobby. What do you say?
@@DjTravisNey I’m building a modest sound system. Nothing extraordinary just something to get the job (a possible small wedding next summer) done. I haven’t bought a controller yet and really don’t want to go the cheap route. I’m thinking of a budget of or around $7 to $800. I already have all the speakers (4 powered Peavey) and two Peavey 18”powered subs. Got a Peavey 20 channel mixer, Sennheiser wireless mics and two 55” UHD tvs. After I purchase the controller I will focus on the lighting and affects. Also, I never used a controller before in my life. Lol
@@DjTravisNey Also.. I noticed that Mixvibes has several options to purchase. Cross DJ, Cross DJ4, Cross DJ4 Pro, Cross DJ 3.4.3, Remix Video and Remix Video Pro. Which one did you use in your video tutorial? And do you use a separate computer to run Mixvibes other than the one you use for Serato? Seems there could be a conflict if you use one computer to run both programs simultaneously.
@@DjTravisNey I'm DJ myself . I'm working my new DJ setup and I been watch your video. Does anyone know how to get serato video working
So you need wifi to operate DMX
The airstream DMX box creates the WiFi signal you need for the iPad. After that the lights either communicate with the airstream wirelessly or you run a wire to them
I wonder how you going to carry that wood stand to a second floor without elevator
2 people can lift it no problem but yes this package requires pre-show planning. This is not something we bring to every event.

@@DjTravisNey wow what a fantastic looking booth
Looks great 👍
So I have a question, what hdmi splitter are you using, I bought one to go from my laptop to my TVs but it only allows one output at a time
The one that I bought is called, 4K 1x4 HDMI Splitter by OREI. Just copy this and you can find it On Amazon

@@DjTravisNey do I need the one that you have on top of the table as well?
